“Maiden voyage for Saturday dinner. Very good street tacos. Carnitas and steak were superior, chicken very good. Sons got a steak torta and a steak burrito aka big taco with cheese, not what he expected but enjoyed all the same. All totaled $25 with tip. Friendly counter service and funny system to alert order up -- park close to truck and watch for the wave. Lol“

“Omar is absolutely wonderful and made our lunch visit so pleasant, we came back for dinner as well and got a different waiter and I noticed the differences. Omar is a great asset to this staff and has an amazing work attitude/ethic. I’m a manager myself and this type of employee is hard to find now a-days. 5 stars all the way! - the redhead“
“I do not recommend. Unless you don’t care about your food being handled in a sanitary way. I went here a few weeks back because i was Craving carne asada tacos. I watched The lady come from the back from doing who knows what and go back to handling the food without washing her hands. I’m pregnant and we are still in a pandemic so i feel Like people handling your food should wear gloves. I asked If she could put on gloves and she said no because the fresh made tortillas would melt the gloves. I’ve seen people wear vinyl gloves making tortillas so idk what was different about the way she did it but i was Hungry. There were some prepackaged tortillas on the food station where the food was being prepared and i asked If they could use those instead but she said they were not hers. I’m not exactly sure what that meant but I was flabbergasted so i just accepted my refund when they suggested it. I rarely eat out now as it is because customer service and cleanliness has completely gone to crap.“
“5 out of 5 on everything except Atmosphere.Place is absolutely clean, seating and everything looks brand new. It's a very comfortable place. My only complaint would be the high schoolers who were There for dinner, very loud. Nothing you can do about that though. Food was great, I got exactly what I asked for at an incredible speed. Drinks came right away and it was actually pretty busy there. They prioritize well. There was a moment when we were wanting the check and the guy actually had just walked up to a big table of people and did a 90° turn when I looked at him before he spoke to the other table he came to us. That right there increased his tip and the other table didn't even notice he was coming. They prioritized us (a table of three leaving) rather than wait on the table of like 10. I would say customer service would be 10 stars if I could.“
“Discovered this place on yelp while looking for libations in the area… it is perfect! Low-key & casual; Even at its busiest the noise level was pleasant. There is an ample selection of tasty food and even better drinks. The staff was friendly & helpful- addressing every inquiry while choosing a mezcal. They have the best tequila selection I’ve come across so far (many additive free options). I’ve already recommended it to anyone who will listen ? and I will definitely return as well.“
“My granddaughter couldn't find her tablet. We thought we left it at the restaurant, no we hadn't. But they serched and serched...and serch again. Took me in the back to see the video, seeing her carrying it out with her helped us to locate it. The inture staff was just absolutely EXCELLENT!“
“How was this place? LOUD, Very noisy. The wait staff couldn't hear us and we couldn't hear each other. Of course Taco Tuesday isn't the time to go if you're looking for a nice quiet meal. Everyone was having a really good time! Service received 3 stars because there was very little of it. It took 2 or 3 offers of chips and salsa before it arrived. I used to train wait staff. They were just too busy to do a really good job. Helpings are generous. The filing for my quesadilla was very good. Odd, but it didn't carry through for me with the tortilla included in a bite. Would I go back again? You bet!“
“This is the first place I’ve really been able to experience American and Mexican dishes at the same time with both being equally fantastic. Lola’s had one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while and one of the top Spanish rice’s! I can’t believe I haven’t been in here sooner. Will be back for the tacos!“

It's the first Mexican place we go to between Virginia Beach & Norfolk that has a good atmosphere, happy but not loud music, good service and delicious food! Super recommended, especially if the weather allows you to eat outside! The only thing I would recommend is that they have candles or fans to keep the miscos off the table!“
“My family’s favorite place to go for tasty Mexican food , the team members working are always checking in on you and making sure your chips are filled and your food came out how you expected. “This feels like a family restaurant. The food isn't spicy. For me that's perfect. If you were to ask for it, I'm sure they could oblige. The food comes out fast and hot. I have been eating at Mi Hogar since mid? 90s. So there are many good memories. I have had many excellent margaritas. The portions are good. There is something called the C N Special. They are always floored when my skinny SO cleans the plates. Plural. This is a lot of food. Is it Americanized food. Probably. I haven't eaten in Mexico. But it's a very comfortable place that serves comfort Mexican food.“

“La Herradura is a main stay for lunch for me and my ODU colleagues. It's in easy walking distance, the food is great, and service is attentive and fast! It's no problem to walk over, have lunch, and walk back within an hour. The array of lunch specials are an easy way to try new things each visit. Being from Southern California, I have to admit this was the best birria I think I've ever had at a restaurant. I also ordered an elote in the cup which was also very good. The portion sizes are insane for the price. If I wasn't going directly to the airport, I would've stayed for Margs and tried some of their Tequilas??? The vibe in this place reminds me of vacation for some reason. “Nice to have a new restaurant in the Great Neck area. Wide variety of meal options and our skinny margs were great. Service was a little slow but they were all very kind and we came early so that might be in part on us. Overall, we will return and are excited to have this option close to home!“
“Very rarely do I leave a review, but this place DESERVES to be reviewed AND visited. Service is extremely friendly and welcoming. As for the tacos...simply WOW!!! Anyone who enjoys a good taco absolutely NEEDS to visit here. Doesn't matter which tacos you get...they are all amazing.I only caution that you use the red salsa sparingly IF you don't like things overly spicy. It definitely caught me by surprise. “It’s a great Mexican place comparable to Plaza Aztecs, Salsas, Three Amigos, etc. I think there food is even better though! More unique entrees, amazing chorizo, must try!Parking: The best bet for parking is to turn down the street on the left of the place (when looking at it) and parking behind the H&R Block (it says it’s Guads Parking)“
“Absolute perfection. Authentic Mexican food. The tortilla chips are thick and crispy, and the salsa is always fresh! This was our second time going here in 2 weeks we loved it so much the first time! Definitely a hole in the wall type situation, but that’s usually where you get the best stuff. Today I had the refried beans and rice and oh my goodness, they were by far the best refried beans I have ever had. You can tell they take their time and make their food with love. The horchata is homemade and absolutely delicious as well. 11/10 our new favorite spot.“

“Got some great food and was able to enjoy the Norfolk Christmas parade while eating. The employees did a great job moving the line along at a fast efficiency. The place started out nice and clean but halfway through the night the bathrooms were trashed and were disgusting!“

“Ah Qdoba, how much I love you more than Chipottyle.Had the brisket birria, with rice and pinto beans, spicy queso, spicy sauce, guacamole and jalapeños.Giant burrito, wonderfully flavored, seasoned well. “New favorite place! This is such a cute hole in the wall local favorite! It's not very visible from the outside or the lights just weren't turned on yet. I actually passed it twice but when i walked in, I was in love. They have a cute jukebox so you can play your favorites and I believe they do karaoke on sundays, all though that didn't stop people from singing the bops on that random Thursday. The server was super nice and attentive, I wish I got her name. And the food was good. I wish it had a little bit more spice as I have a high tolerance. But it was perfect for my best friend who also loved this place. They had great specials and just an all around great vibe. See you on sunday!!“

“Keep moes alive! Sure the quality is slightly above average. They are understaffed and don't always have items ready. However, how many other places are giving you free chips and unlimited salsa? Chipotle charges you for everything and Tijuana flats gives you a measly hot sauce bar. You get a lot of food for a decent price, moes Monday is a solid deal, and you get a free burrito on your birthday day. Love this place.“
“I just ordered from here on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was about to close, but I put in the order about 45 to 50 minutes before closing. I showed up at the expected order time, about 30 minutes before closing. They had chairs put up and everyone was cleaning. I told them I had a pickup order placed online and they apologized and said they did not receive it on the tablet, but it would just be 5 to 10 minutes. I felt bad about this because it seemed the kitchen may have been closed, but they apologized to me and said they would make the order. I ordered 3 different specially made tacos. They made two of each and gave me 6 terrific tacos total. I felt bad for imposing on them but they went the extra mile for me. Also.. the tacos are great. I recommend this place to everyone.“
“The food is pretty good but also not a lot to pick some of them can be disgusting or can be much more better and comfortable. The service is actually good! Not a lot is there but only thing is sometimes it's just complex. The atmosphere is pretty also great too. I can't describe too much about it. And it's also very empty so I couldn't ask much.Parking: A lot of spots! Maybe like 35 there. It's not too hard. They can sometimes just take you're spot. Which is the stupid part.“
