“I came from northern Virginia 3 hours away to visit Norfolk and we stopped by penguins in my opinion the mango flavor with mango pieces was the best combination out of everything.I recommend this place to everyone in Norfolk either live or visit penguins and they are way better than the slurpee at 7-11 cause they don’t have the natural fruit like penguins does.“

I decided on a bowl and the manager Nini helped me with recommendations on the protein and I ended up going with the shrimp and let me tell you it was fire! 🔥 The finished product of my bowl was so good I couldn’t stop eating off the first bite. “This location treats with extreme service. I get the new steak ( like the old one tho) and they make sure it's right! They take the time to ask how and what I like on my steak and they always keepe updated if anything has change or is new. The crew are very professional and seem to really care about the craft. “This is just a Subway and with that said, this is also one of the most consistent, well managed, and clean fast food resturants I have ever been to. The owners and staff are fantastic and do an amazing job running this location.

“Had a great experience here on a late night food run. Ordered a handful of cookies with my mobile order, as they're great, and I wanted to save some for the next day. Got there, got the rest of the food (bacon king, large fry, small coke), but they did not have any cookies cooked at time I arrived. Young man in the drive through, informed me of that, apologized, and asked if I would like pies instead. I ended up waiting for the cookies, as I wasn't in a rush and was going to eat in my car anyway. The guy apologized again, got me the rest of my food (upgrading my coke to a large for the wait), and told me to drive up front, where he came out in approximately 15 minutes with some fresh baked cookies.

Some may give a negative for not having a bunch of cookies cooked and ready. I ordered a bunch of them at nearly midnight though, so understand. More than anything though, I left impressed and happy with the service. Guy at the window is great with people and cared enough to go out his way to make me happy. I feel like most places wouldn't have even told me about the substitution, let alone offering to have them make them right then for a short wait. For an industry where the expectation is pretty bare minimum, seeing someone with hustle and legitimate service attitude was nice.

Burger King in general has been killing it too. Obvious comparison is to McDonald's, and they're cheaper and better by now. The Bacon King burger is fire.“

“I honestly cannot say enough good things about this Jimmy John’s, and all the people that work in it! The food is always super fresh, and always accurate. I’ve never had them mess up an order, and they do a really good job at making sure everything is timely. I’ve been coming here for years since it’s close to my job & it never misses. “Customer service was well, the store seemed exceptionally clean for Norfolk standards. Even the rest room was somewhat clean. However they need to hire more people because it took entirely too long to make my sandwich. I ordered went to the bathroom to do a long number two and the food still wasn’t ready. Stop being cheap and hire more folks to make the sandwiches, especially on weekends.“

“Pretty good fast food-wise. Decent portions, some really good fries, and not bad prices all things considered these days. I usually go with a mushroom and Swiss where as my partner usually does for a monster burger and they have yet to disappoint.“

“I didn't go inside. I ordered pick up through doordash, but my food was ready super fast and absolutely cooked to perfection. It felt like going back to my childhood. I'll be going back soon and taking pictures of the food next time. As a mom with a crying child in the back seat I deeply appreciated how fast the entire pick up went.“

Was confused with what I got, the cashier lady with long green fingernails (whom was also handling the food and money with no gloves and packaging it), smirked and was like you never had this flavor of wings before and laughed as if my inquiry was abnormal. Theres some serious sanitation issues as well which isnt good during a pandemic. Rehardless the picture below is what i got.“
