“As my friends and family know, I owned a pizza place in a past life that had some pretty great reviews. I’m not a review guy typically, but this pizza was one of the best, if not the best, I’ve EVER had anywhere. 17/10 would recommend and will eat again.“

“I remember 15yrs ago when I was in the navy I would regularly go to this place. Fast forward 2026 this place is still a great spot. Beautiful female staff, delicious food, friendly service. Try the Greek gyros, one of their signature items.“

“This is my 2nd time ordering from this location and the service has been spectacular. The gentleman in the front brought my order to the car(doom scrolling and lost track of the time). Overall completely satisfied. Wish I had pictures but the slices barely made it to the counter.“

“Attended the wine dinner last evening and was underwhelmed. I had called to ask if they would accommodate dietary requests such as vegetarian/pescatarian and was told no however last evening they had several people that they accomadated for dietary requests. It was disappointing to learn that too late. It was a rainy cold evening and the seating for the event was in their inclosed outside seating area. Throughout the evening you got burst of cold air in spite of the heaters it was cold. Going into the colder months I definitely would not attend if they don’t change the location of the dinner in their restaurant. The food and wine were good but nothing overly impressive. The last wine was Federalist which is a very inexpensive everyday wine that you can get at total wine for under $20. I guess I was expecting more from the wine dinner which is why I say I was underwhelmed.“

“This place is fairly new, located in the heart of Ocean View. It can easily be accessed by bike, walk, or by driving. The staff is super nice and welcoming. The pizza is delicious! We ordered a large pepperoni abd cheese and had only a few slices left. You will not be disappointed.“

“The two guys working there were real chill but efficient and treat people with respect - I received exactly what I asked for piping hot and pretty quick.

This was my first try and I’ll definitely return because I really enjoyed the classic thick chewy crust, fresh vegetable toppings and non-greasiness. Good place to get food to take back to your shop.“

“Wow I was sitting here in Ghana Africa and a thaught came to me. I asked my wife what was the name of that sub place we use to always order from when I was stationed in Norfolk. I was stationed at NOB on the USS Iwo Jima in 1992 until decommissioned in 1993 then to the USS WASP 93 to 96. We used to always order from Cals Pizza and subs. I used to get the cheese steak sub and suicide wings. This place was the best. Good to see they are still in business serving Virginia and the Navy. It brings back good memories for me as a young kid in the Navy.“

“Was just like walking into any pizza place on Long Island. Been standing a while, but those slices are perfect! Crispy, large, 2 slice special just under $10 with a tip. I probably shouldn't have eaten Both slices in one sitting. 🙃 🤷‍♀️“

“So my man wanted pizza tonight and we’ve been wanting to try Sharks so it only made sense to order from there. Let me tellll you! The consistency was perfect. Not too saucy but enough to taste the flavor, nice crispy crust and the cheese was perfect. I got the hot honey pepperoni and it was mouthwatering. We can’t wait to try all of the other speciality pizzas. Highly recommend!!! This is def our new go to“

“Recently found this pizza spot over the holidays. And I have been back 4-5 times. The pizza is amazing and most definitely the best pizza I have had in the area. The staff was awesome matched well with the cool dive bar atmosphere. Shout out to the cooks that make the top tier food, as well as to my server Adell .

“I just went to pick up food for the family and walked into the most beautiful controlled chaos I've ever seen on American soil! The staff was excellent and coordinated with how they greeted us while handling several tasks and communicating with each other to prepare the orders. “I have Crohns disease, and cant normally eat pizza, which I LOVE! However, because you guys use REAL cheese and have THE ONLY GLUTEN FREE CRUST I know of, I am able to eat pizza again. I saw that on the flyer, and thought to myself, I can eatvTHEIR pizza! When it got here, it was hot, cheesy, and soooo good. And, no bad tummy ache when I was done. Needless to say Guess who MY favorite pizza is now? YOU GUYS ROCK!“

One item was missing but had a pretty big order but a simple call to the store and the item was delivered within 15mins. Great customer service from phone to door. Great job!! “Given a look at some reviews, I wasn’t expecting too much. However the staff were fairly pleasant and and pizza is absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend if you find yourselves in Norfolk and want the perfect slice of NY pizza to satisfy your tastes. The pizza I ordered was 1 slice of four cheese and 1 slice of pepperoni, both were very tasty and hot. The cheese was melty, the slices are enormous like NY pizza should be, the pepperoni was crispy, and the cheese on both pizzas were delicious. Taste of the pizzas are not too sweet either, but they’re the perfect amount savory!“

“It’s a dive bar. I LOVE a good dive bar. A 5 star dive bar would be weird, so 4 stars haha. Pool tables, cheap drinks, random music, smoking inside (I didn’t even know this existed in America anymore, but who doesn’t love to smoke a drunk cigarette every now and then), outside patio with fans. Didn’t try the food. It’s probably not very good, but probably amazing when you’re drunk and need something to soak up the booze. Went in on a weeknight because it’s within walking distance and I wanted to scope it out because we just moved in. Bartender was friendly, got us drinks quick. Definitely will be back!“
