“Norfolk Botanical Gardens is always a yes. I finally had the pleasure of visiting the Holiday Lights Display. The trail is walkable for all age groups and abilities. (There are benches to sit on all along the way). I highly recommend it, for a memorable experience. 💚🥰🎄☃️“

“They go above and beyond: I joined my book club ladies for dinner last night at Press 626. I have some mobility issues and was advised to take the back steps upon arriving. I was well assisted up the stairs and taken to our table. The servers could not have been more pleasant. When it was time to leave one of the female employees assisted me down the front steps and to my waiting car. They made me feel very comfortable and welcoming. Thank you so much.“

“I’ve eaten here now 5 times. Gone for an evening date, family gathering of 8, and a regular dinner for 4 out and about in town. They can accommodate anything. The food is excellent, creative and unique. Staff is nice and helpful, and hardworking. This is a staple for me. Parking on the street hasn’t been a problem but also garages are available or uber if you are enjoying the neat drink menu.“

“My wife, our grandson, and myself went to Saltines on Valentine’s Day which is also my wife’s birthday. Reservations at 7;45 and the seating arrangement was perfect. Kyle was our waiter. We could not have gotten a more perfect waiter. Kyle was extremely polite and was very attentive to our needs. The drinks he served were perfect. The food served was above par. He even wished my wife a happy birthday and made sure she had everything she wanted. Kyle is the sort of waiter that you look for and hope for. He was perfect for our little celebration. My thanks to Kyle and thanks to Saltines for employing someone such as Kyle. Kyle will be our waiter for future dining at Saltines.“

I wonder if the reason I keep going, despite nothing standing out about the place, is the easy going atmosphere and consistently good food.“

“Had to check this place out after seeing it on Triple D. Was worth the trip. Easily the best Cubano I’ve ever had, even after living in Florida for nine years. Food came out hot and fresh too. The fries tasted great with both garlic aioli and this hot persimmon lemon cranberry pepper sauce that was at the table. Will definitely be back if I’m in the Norfolk area again.“

“What’s not to love. Over 20 cats, so many toys to play with the cats with, very clean area, and options to buy things for your kitties at home. The only complaint might be it’s not really a cafe, but there’s so much food around it’s easy to eat before or after.“

“Do you want something fast that's not fast food? You've got to try Chicken Salad Chick. This restaurant is conveniently located on Hampton boulevard in the railroad district of Norfolk Virginia. It's clean, bright and cheery with plenty of parking and outdoor seating. They offer a wide variety of different chicken salads, sandwiches, sides and desserts. The food is fresh and delicious and the prices are competitive. I was particularly pleased they offered a pimento cheese just like my mother used to make. I highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to go back.“

“The Spicy Fiesta Burrito is ridiculously good and it is truly quite spicy. I always get a side of both the green and red salsas and they are also perfect. This place is almost always busy and the indoors only seats maybe 10 people or so, so I always order mine carry out. Only complaint is that they will not make ANY modifications like adding cilantro, but Highly recommend!“
