I also had the best soft shell crab in the area there a few months ago. Hire a chef versus a cook. More healthy versions of seafood are needed versus mostly fried and salted. As an excellent cook, I could turn this place into a hot neighborhood spot that people could walk to/from. Many times the price does not meet the quality of food unless I order the crab cakes. I have seen waiters bring out broccoli with worms moving around and florets that have overstayed their time in the kitchen.“

“This place is fairly new, located in the heart of Ocean View. It can easily be accessed by bike, walk, or by driving. The staff is super nice and welcoming. The pizza is delicious! We ordered a large pepperoni abd cheese and had only a few slices left. You will not be disappointed.“

Shardee was our most recent wait person and she was absolutely delightful and efficient. She took the time to make suggestions and offered her comments on the items we were interested in ordering; very helpful!
The only constructive comment is that the restaurant is dark and the tables look very worn despite the time this particular RT has been operational.

“The restaurant atmosphere is very simple, but the food and service was fiery good for a busy Saturday night. The hubs ordered salmon with Greek salad, and I ordered a crab cake with Greek salad. Unless we go to a fancy shmancy restaurant, he usually can’t get his salmon cooked to order, but he did here and said it was fantastic. I’ve been to a handful of area seafood restaurants for crab cakes, and this was surprisingly the best one I’ve had!!! We will certainly be returning the next time we are in town.“

“I spoke to Nikki the manager about the service that I received from five separate employees at this location. Yes that's correct five separate employees helped One customer.
Triple plus rating to all employees involved in getting me my lunch today.

First off I was greeted with a smile and sat down promptly with a beautiful smile from the lovely greeter at the door.
Secondly my server was positive and thorough I could tell by the look on her face she was struggling a little bit with something in her life and she still provided me with excellent service.
The cook who served me my food was a very pleasant young gentleman with a very positive and gentle attitude asked me was there anything else that I needed or anything missing.
Dee, did not even serve me but the way that man runs around that restaurant, he can be on one end of the restaurant and still see people coming in the door telling them we'll be right with you,,,now that's attentiveness.
And lastly but not least the elder gentleman the Busman noticed that I was looking for my waitress and he stopped and asked me how can he help and I said all I needed was some silverware he stopped what he was doing and went and got me some silverware and brought it back to my table with a smile. He could have looked the other way but he saw that I needed something and he stopped to help even though that is not part of his job criteria.

Absolutely exemplary service from all the employees there both times I've been there. If I was management they would all be in line for a raise.

It's very tough working on those hard concrete and tile floors on your feet all day or night long I know because I do it as a part-time job and I know so the service that I received was very appreciated and I gave them all tips. I tipped more this visit than the cost of my meal!!!
Now that saying something about the service you receive at a restaurant.

I hope they keep all these team members and that I see them again on my next visit a truly exceptional team.

“This is the second time that I have been to this Applebee’s the first being about a month ago for my grandmother’s birthday we had an amazing time and our server, then was very sweet. I believe her name was Candace and there was a manager that was very sweet. we had a problem with one of our meals and she corrected it immediately and then told us a hilarious joke. We came back tonight and she was there. She remembered us and was very welcoming talking to us and even told us a New joke, and waited for my father to think of his own joke. It’s very seldom that you find good service or good management in the restaurant business anymore and I will continue coming to this Applebee’s because of them I can’t remember her name Amber or Amanda I think; anyways don’t lose them her Candace and I’m very sorry I do not remember my Server‘s name tonight Alaina Maybe. I I’m very glad that we have found a place that we can go eat and have a good time. Thank you.“

“The service has been improved lately, the microphone is still a bit hard to here, but even when the line is long it goes fast and being open late is awesome when most of the other places are closed, I like the paper boxes and not melty Styrofoam, it's a solid choice for quick eats“
