11 Best Barbeque Restaurants in Norfolk

“Great food every time. I have been to the Norfolk location and the Virginia Beach location and they are both top notch. Everything I have tried is excellent. Last time we got the Smoke Stack Sammich, which includes brisket, pulled pork and their smoked sausage. It is so tasty and you get a bit of everything. The pork belly is great. The pork rinds are the best you can get. The wings with the dry rub are killer. We got the Tommy Boy, a sometimes Friday special, the best pastrami sandwich at the Beach. I haven't tried anything I didn't love yet. The staff is always on the move and is always very friendly. Already planning our next visit.“

“Totally awesome atmosphere and service. Food was great too!“

“I have been coming to hanks for years and always am greeted with great service, food, and drinks. All of the bartenders (Jaiden, Nick, Patrick, and Tatum) will make sure that you have an excellent night, full of great booze and good company. If you only have one night in Norfolk, I highly suggest you spend it here.“

“Yeaaa, not gone lie this cookout gives me a good experience everytime. I like to go to a place a few times before writing a review because fast food places are really fickle with service and quality these days, but this cookout gets my order correct everytime and they have good attitudes. I’ve come here a few times and have received my order correctly and with good service. I would say they’re a little slow for cookout, but my order is correct so I’m cool. I’m actually closer to the one on Monticello but I come to this one because unlike that one, they get my order correct with good service each time I come. Maybe the negative reviews are about the one on Monticello because they SUCK, get my order wrong everytime and have bad attitudes. Also, I have emphasized “gets my order correct” a few times because my order is particular and specific, but they do it correctly. Thanks yall! 🫶🏾“
