“Great food every time. I have been to the Norfolk location and the Virginia Beach location and they are both top notch. Everything I have tried is excellent. Last time we got the Smoke Stack Sammich, which includes brisket, pulled pork and their smoked sausage. It is so tasty and you get a bit of everything. The pork belly is great. The pork rinds are the best you can get. The wings with the dry rub are killer. We got the Tommy Boy, a sometimes Friday special, the best pastrami sandwich at the Beach. I haven't tried anything I didn't love yet. The staff is always on the move and is always very friendly. Already planning our next visit.“

“I’m from South ga and this is the best bbq I had while in Va. I used to go to redwood often but they are killing red wood by a long shot. Collards we so good should’ve got double on those. Brisket was good and tender, pulled pork was too. Man I hate that I’m not two weeks away from relocating and finally tried them.“

“Picked up a Reuben and some Mac n cheese while at work. Had to get takeout unfortunately, but the bartender was VERY friendly and helpful. The Reuben was probably the best one I’ve ever had, and the Mac n cheese was delicious! Not too dry, not too watery, just right. And talk about enough cheese! Perfect combo to stimulate your taste buds. 10/10 would recommend for good food and drink selection.“

“Starting with the customer service the employee greeted me from the time I came through the door, was very nice, explained the menu in detail, and also the favorites. I can tell she genuinely cares about her job and she does it well. As far as the food goes I got a two meat two side with grilled chicken, ribs, potato salad, and green beans + a roll. The ribs were pull apart, firm, crispy, and hot just like I like them. The grilled chicken was flavorful and tender as well. I'm very picky about my sides so I was surprised to find out the potato salad was prepared with the same flavors and and relish etc we do back at home. There were three different barbecue sauces that came with it on the side, two of them I did not care for but what I assume was just the basic sauce was great. All of this food tastes just like being at a backyard BBQ back at home in GA.“

“We purchased food for 35-40 people for a small event over the weekend. Because it was short notice, we had to go and pick the food up, as no one was available to cater onsite. In fact, after picking the food up I had to make another stop before arriving at the event an hour later. We put the food on racks with burners to warm it back up. After all of that, the food was fantastic. We ordered a wide variety of food and not a single item disappointed. My family intends to use them for a large event we have in the works next year and we will be stopping in for a quick meal in between.“

“The service has been improved lately, the microphone is still a bit hard to here, but even when the line is long it goes fast and being open late is awesome when most of the other places are closed, I like the paper boxes and not melty Styrofoam, it's a solid choice for quick eats“
