“I've been here twice and both times the food is very good. I had the pork and Rib sandwich with two sides and drank water with my Mio drink mix in it. Got out of there for $16 plus tip and actually was able to eat twice on this meal. Very filling. Usually the service is faster but today was a little slower. I think our server might have been a little bit distracted or dingy. All in all a good experience“
“There are maybe two or three barbeque restaurants located within a few miles from me. They all are really good, but the one I visited last weekend is definitely one of the three best in my area - the County Grill & Smokehouse. There are two locations of this restaurant, actually. Both have the same quality food and service, but the one I am referring to is located in Yorktown, Virginia. My Grubbing Buddy and I went on a rainy day and used a County Grill gift card that a good friend gave us as a "thank you." The food smelled incredible as we walked in, and we were immediately seated, though it was pretty crowded at the time. I ordered one of their specialty beers, which was different, but not bad at all. From the menu, I ordered the "Pick 2" half BBQ chicken and half rack of St. Louis style Ribs. My Grubbing Buddy had the house special of two large deep-fried pork chops with a side of gravy. Our sides were similar: collard greens, mixed veggies and mac and cheese. Both our waiter and our hostess were wonderful and very attentive, and the food and drinks were incredible. This is one place we plan to visit again and again.“
“Before arriving tonight, I was feeling a bit grumpy, but I still chose to dine with my family. To my surprise, the experience turned out amazing. The food was great, but what truly elevated it were the two servers who brought my food, McKenzie and Grace. They approached our table with warmth and charm, instantly lifting our spirits with their jokes and friendly demeanor. We ended up having a delightful five-minute conversation with them. A sandwich is bouncing with chicken and six different barbecue sauces to choose from the bronto your sandwich hospitality was top notch. She even gave me some face sweet potato pie. “Working with Jason at Alpha Pitt was such a pleasure! The entire experience, from the responsiveness via email, to the tasting, to the actual wedding day, was top tier. I can't say how pleased and impressed I was with the service, food, and cleanliness on the daya of the wedding. We had our wedding in our backyard and we would have never known catering had been there after the fact! During the reception, they checked on my groom and I multiple times and were always so courteous. Afterwards I heard nothing but glowing reviews for service from the guests.The food was phenomenal! Our wedding took place an hour+ from their home base and the food was still hot and fresh when they arrived. I can't recommend the veggies, mashed potatoes, and herb crusted pork with mushroom sauce enough! We had a signature cocktail (Kentucky mule) and they used their homemade simple syrup. Would recommend giving that a try because it was so tasty.We had quite a bit of leftovers as well which made the value for the money so incredibly good. I cannot recommend alpha pitt smokers enough! If I have any catering needs in the future I will surely turn to them first!“
