“This is the best BBQ place we have ever been to! We had a party of 10 and tried many items from the menu. From the brisket nachos, Kansas City pulled pork, Mac n cheese, bbq chicken, ribs, potato salad, cornbread, Carolina pulled pork, and meat candy. It was ALL so delicious and the owner was so accommodating and friendly. I can’t recommend this place enough! I’m just sad that In 2 days we return to NY and won’t be able to taste this again until next year! Thank you for an amazing dinner!!!“
“We are from the Pittsburgh area and come to Sandbridge annually. We decided to try Pungo Boys BBQ on a chance because face it, BBQ is a gamble. Well, we should have doubled down on this gamble because it was FANTASTIC! The brisket was so tender, the ribs delish!! The pulled chicken and pork both were so moist. Their sides were all very good as well! Though you really don't need their sauce offerings they were all good, but for me the Souse Sauce Piggy Perfume was the best...vinegar based bliss!! The folks working there were all very nice, chatted with us like we were neighbors. If you get the chance to go, do it. If we could justify the 7 1/2 hour drive every weekend, we would be there!“
“We got food poisoning from the Virginia Beach restaurant! Terrible experience. Barbecue is one of those meats you have to watch the temperature very closely on otherwise bacteria can grow. Clearly someone wasn't watching the temperature as my family and I got food poisoning and that was the only place we ate. I am so disappointed. I will never eat there again!!“
“The meatquake sandwich needs a warning! Went there for the first time and the name caught my eye. As they began making the sandwich I realized I was in over my head. The end result; easily a 1lb sandwich with delicious pulled pork, tender brisket, and their jalapeño cheddar sausage with a perfect amount of kick! Spicy slaw was solid also.“

“Service was great, and was advised that my brisket would be cooking for awhile which means it would be fresh in which I like. The atmosphere of the establishment was great, loved the music that was playing. Food was great once I got it, didn't really care for the mac n cheese but everything else was good.“

“This is a small location but with BIG taste! every time i am in the VA Beach area, i make sure to frequent this all you can eat buffet. The ingredients are always fresh on the bar and rotated often no matter if it's busy or slow. if you like the all you can eat made to order buffet style mongolian. this is a place you must try!!!“
“Saw this Korean spot when we went to Outback. Decided to give it a shot. The closest to the Korean food we're used to.... Forget the bonchon spots, you get more bang for your buck here! Wish they had more sides but what was available is good too! Kids approved so we definitely will be back. We got the Bibimbap (make sure you ask for your egg to be over easy or it'll have a hard yolk),bbq chicken, kimbap(Gimbap),& bugolgi fried rice (this was ok). The sides we got were kimchi, cucumbers,mac salad, & the shoyu potato.“
“Great staff and delicious food. Nice atmosphere and lovely decor. They don't have a kids menu, and though that's ok most times (kids should experience new things too), mine has an egg allergy which made the menu somewhat limiting. She ate what she could though, and loved it. Just thought I'd mention it if your kid is a very picky eater.“
“Wish I would have known about this place sooner! The customer service is outstanding! Everyone was so nice and making sure we were comfortable. The food came out quickly and hot. The flavors are amazing. The atmosphere is cute with decor and tables seat four. They also have To Go and Catering. We will continue to drive across the water for their food. The taste is authentic and much better than the BBQ places over here. Highly recommend the Hogzilla and the pork rinds. The fries are also great“
“Went in for lunch today since I was nearby. I ordered the pork belly burnt ends sandwich. It was phenomenal. Don't sleep on this one its incredible. Along with the brisket chili this made for an incredible lunch on a cold day like today.“

“I am from NY and came here while visiting with family. The atmosphere is amazing and the owner and his staff are so friendly and personable. I got the pulled pork sandwich with fries. This pulled pork is by far the BEST pulled pork I have ever had and the portion was very generous. I love a great patriotic family restaurant and I would rate everything here 5 stars!“
