“The food is very good!!!!!!!!“

“We frequent Embassy Suites in Virginia Beach often since they opened, and we always make several visits to Article’s Bar and Grill. The only reason this post isn’t a 1star review is because of Christian and Tripp both went above and beyond with their customer service. They were kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They are a true asset behind the bar and know how to make guests feel welcome. Unfortunately, we did have a very awkward and unpleasant encounter with another bartender (Lori) on two separate visits. We weren’t the only ones who noticed, her attitude came across as rude and unhappy to be there, which made customers uncomfortable. The first time, we let it go because everyone can have an off day. But the second time, her energy was even worse. I did bring it up to a manager on site, and I truly hope it gets addressed because that type of experience can easily drive customers away. Aside from that, the wings were delicious, and the drinks that Christian and Tripp prepared were great. Until next time—we’re hoping for a better experience overall.“

“Just had a very delicious brunch after church at Driftwood Kitchen on Pacific Avenue! A convenient bonus is they have a parking lot available which we appreciate! Hubs had the salmon Benedict with hash which he thoroughly enjoyed along with a Spicy Margarita, yum! Today's special was red, white & blue pancakes with a side so l ordered that with homemade hash as my side, probably the best hash l've had! The pancakes were on point with the white chocolate chips & fresh blueberries inside and fresh strawberries on top! I would definitely order the same dish again, perfection! The bloody Mary's & mimosas were $5 & tasty! Our server & bar tender, Kat H. was very helpful & kind! We certainly want to go back! Happy Hour 3-6pm, closed Mondays,on Sundays they close at 3pm.“

“The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Everything that our party ordered was served fresh and was made in house. The key lime pie and the house pickles are must haves. I highly recommend this hidden gem“

“Let me be “frank” ? The new location of Kevin’s Dog House is really great, and well worth a visit! The light filled space is clean, nicely laid-out and retains the casual Rock n Roll vibe of the previous place, but the main attraction are the delicious dogs! Kevin, Evie, and Matt run a smooth ship, and make you feel like family! ? Can’t wait to return!!“

“The restaurant was clean and had a friendly atmosphere but the service was very slow took the lady almost 10 minutes to come over and ask us what we needed and we were the only ones there. But the food was phenomenal and the prices were fair. Definitely will be going back for the food. Hopefully next time the service will be a little better too 😁“

“Reasonably priced exceptional hotdogs and sandwiches. There are beers and cakes also. Just a nice little cafe to grab a bite to eat and not feel rushed out the door. The decorations around the walls are a good laugh. I loved eating here, I am just gutted i found it so late in my 3 year posting to Virginia.

I gave this five as it hits the criteria I was looking for. It might not be Michelin starred however it's exactly what you sometimes need. And the awards of best dogs in Virginia beach can't be wrong.“

“My wife and I come here often for special occasions! Last night, we celebrated my wife’s birthday. Casey was our server and she was so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. She consistently checked up on us and made the experience amazing. Of course, a reason to come to the Hunt Room is the atmosphere. So romantic and cozy. Had live music which only added to the experience. Our food and drinks were perfect and my wife said it was the best birthday dinner ever. Thank you to the Hunt Room for making our night out so special.“

The band, Shannon and the Reunion, absolutely crushed it — they were the real MVPs of the night. Great energy, great sound, and honestly worth the trip alone. 🎶👏 Now… about the food. It took about an hour and a half to arrive. By the time it hit the table, we had aged slightly and considered starting a small herb garden. When it finally arrived, it was… barely warm. Like “took a quick stroll past the oven” warm. The twist? It was actually tasty! If it had arrived hot and before we finished a second round of drinks, we might’ve been writing a five-star love letter. Old Beach Tavern has potential — the flavor is there, the vibe is fun, and the band is fantastic. “Atmosphere was just about perfect. The front of the restaurant has decorations that obscure the view of the restaurant to anyone that walks in and is standing in the front- they should fix that. The quality of the food was more than acceptable. Prices were fair. Would go again.“
