“The food is very good!!!!!!!!“

“We frequent Embassy Suites in Virginia Beach often since they opened, and we always make several visits to Article’s Bar and Grill. The only reason this post isn’t a 1star review is because of Christian and Tripp both went above and beyond with their customer service. They were kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They are a true asset behind the bar and know how to make guests feel welcome. Unfortunately, we did have a very awkward and unpleasant encounter with another bartender (Lori) on two separate visits. We weren’t the only ones who noticed, her attitude came across as rude and unhappy to be there, which made customers uncomfortable. The first time, we let it go because everyone can have an off day. But the second time, her energy was even worse. I did bring it up to a manager on site, and I truly hope it gets addressed because that type of experience can easily drive customers away. Aside from that, the wings were delicious, and the drinks that Christian and Tripp prepared were great. Until next time—we’re hoping for a better experience overall.“

“We were first time visitors to Park Lane Tavern. Service was truly amazing as the waitress was very informative . I ordered the London Broil with bordlaise sauce. The food was phenomenal. The steak was very tender and juicy. Do not pass on the bread pudding.“

“The server may had been new but we had to ask for things that should have been given with a normal meal. We were unable to use the 15% coupon because when you sign up it doesn't tell you till afterwards that it is for online orders only. Our server offered us a 10% off coupon to make up for the misunderstanding. Only to be told by the manager he wouldn't allow her to apply it. That surprised me because I spoke to him about the horrible microwaved mashed potatoes which he lied and said they weren't microwaved. Won't be returning. You get one shot to earn someone's business and unfortunately they failed.“

“We had the hot buffalo wings to start, followed by the ahi tuna and black rice and garlic and herb chicken. Everything was cooked perfectly. The smoky flavor of the fire grill enhanced the flavor of everything! Easily the best meal we’ve had in Virginia Beach, possibly on the east coast! The service was also great!“

“Just had a very delicious brunch after church at Driftwood Kitchen on Pacific Avenue! A convenient bonus is they have a parking lot available which we appreciate! Hubs had the salmon Benedict with hash which he thoroughly enjoyed along with a Spicy Margarita, yum! Today's special was red, white & blue pancakes with a side so l ordered that with homemade hash as my side, probably the best hash l've had! The pancakes were on point with the white chocolate chips & fresh blueberries inside and fresh strawberries on top! I would definitely order the same dish again, perfection! The bloody Mary's & mimosas were $5 & tasty! Our server & bar tender, Kat H. was very helpful & kind! We certainly want to go back! Happy Hour 3-6pm, closed Mondays,on Sundays they close at 3pm.“

“Let me be “frank” ? The new location of Kevin’s Dog House is really great, and well worth a visit! The light filled space is clean, nicely laid-out and retains the casual Rock n Roll vibe of the previous place, but the main attraction are the delicious dogs! Kevin, Evie, and Matt run a smooth ship, and make you feel like family! ? Can’t wait to return!!“

“The restaurant was clean and had a friendly atmosphere but the service was very slow took the lady almost 10 minutes to come over and ask us what we needed and we were the only ones there. But the food was phenomenal and the prices were fair. Definitely will be going back for the food. Hopefully next time the service will be a little better too 😁“

The decorations around the walls are a good laugh. I loved eating here, I am just gutted i found it so late in my 3 year posting to Virginia.

I gave this five as it hits the criteria I was looking for. It might not be Michelin starred however it's exactly what you sometimes need. And the awards of best dogs in Virginia beach can't be wrong.“

“My wife and I come here often for special occasions! Last night, we celebrated my wife’s birthday. Casey was our server and she was so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. She consistently checked up on us and made the experience amazing. Of course, a reason to come to the Hunt Room is the atmosphere. So romantic and cozy. Had live music which only added to the experience. Our food and drinks were perfect and my wife said it was the best birthday dinner ever. It took about an hour and a half to arrive. By the time it hit the table, we had aged slightly and considered starting a small herb garden. When it finally arrived, it was… barely warm. From the Kentucky Derby celebration to the Barbie Party and even the creative Waldo & Wenda night, each event has been completely unique, thoughtfully planned, and full of fun. The Kentucky Derby party was spectacular — from the vibrant hats and race-inspired décor to the perfectly themed cocktails and entertainment, every detail made me feel like I was actually at Churchill Downs. DeeAnna really captured the excitement and elegance of the Derby. The Barbie Party was equally incredible! The venue was transformed into a colorful, playful world where guests of all ages could step into Barbie’s dreamland. Everything from the decorations to the activities was perfectly on theme, and you could see how much joy it brought to everyone who attended. And then there was the Waldo & Wenda Party — hands down one of the most fun and interactive events I’ve ever been to! Guests were laughing, mingling, and actually playing along with the theme, all because DeeAnna knew how to make the event engaging and full of energy. It’s clear that DeeAnna pours her creativity, organization, and passion into every single event. She has a talent for bringing people together, making each gathering feel welcoming and exciting while paying attention to even the smallest details. Ballyhoos is lucky to have her, and I can’t wait to see what she dreams up next!“

“Atmosphere was just about perfect. The front of the restaurant has decorations that obscure the view of the restaurant to anyone that walks in and is standing in the front- they should fix that. The quality of the food was more than acceptable. Prices were fair. Would go again.“

“If you need to eat a gluten free meal this restaurant has a lot to offer. The food was good but what impressed me most was our waiter, Elija. He truly listened to hat we wanted. I am supposed to drink a lot of water and in order for me to do so I can't have it too cold. Elijah got it just right and it proved to me he had great attention to detail. Good job!“
