“My husband & I have been traveling to Elizabeth city mon-fri for 13weeks for work. We have eaten at City grille every single week we have been down there. We have loved most of the food we have tried. Some of my favorites would have to be the Ham, turkey, bacon club sandwich , the city grille burger, the slaw, fried okra & Mac n chz & the carrot cake is the best I've ever had. My husband doesn't even like carrot cake & he loves it. We usually do take out but the staff has been absolutely amazing. So nice, thoughtful, & accommodating.“

And the girl who works the bar & does the Togo orders, she moves so quick and she’s always on point!!! Desiree went out of her way to make lunch great for us. She even turned up my favorite song on the intercom!!! Like literally give her raise! $2 $3 $10 … holiday bonus! If she requests days off give it to her!!! One of the best places to eat.
