“We celebrated our 1 year anniversary of buying a house here on Friday, April 19th. Our wine and beer were amazing and both our dinners were delicious! I had the eggplant stack and it was such a large dish, I had leftovers! My husband had the shrimp and grits- which is not usually his meal of choice- but the description had him sold! He ate every bite. I saved room for dessert and we had the lemon pie- oh yum. I wish I had leftovers of it!! Our waitress was fabulous- so attentive and friendly. This was our first dinner there as we have had numerous brunches but it definitely won’t be our last.“

“We ate here 4 times over the week! The staff was friendly & cheerful! The food, had us looking forward to our next trip! The Egg & cheese biscuit sandwich, bacon & cheese omelette, sausage & cheese omelette, the ham & cheese omelette, the spinach & feta omelette, the smothered hashbrowns, and of course the pancakes!!! We look forward to visiting Stack Em’ High as much as we do the beach!“

“We wanted to try a new-to-us restaurant, and this time it was Two Roads Tavern. In all honesty, we didn't eat at the restaurant, instead we ordered the food from the bar to take home with us. The restaurant atmosphere was interesting - a mix between a dive bar and someone's home bar. When ordered the BACON MAC N JAP burger. It was a hearty burger with jalapenos and mac and cheese on top, bacon jam on the bottom, and a side of hand cut fries. The burger and fries were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The meal was definitely big enough for two people to share. $16 for a burger - not too bad if you share, if each person needs one, maybe a little high. Overall, don't think the atmosphere is for us, but will return again to order takeout.“

“The fries are very good but not anything like the boardwalk fries in Ocean City, MD where I grew up. Kill Devil's French fries are very good though. The sub was good, but average. Needs mayonnaise. Corn dog was fine. The custard WOW was the highlight of our lunch. Today's flavor was blackberry. I guarantee we will be back tomorrow to get custard and fries. Maybe a shake to dip fries in hmmmmm.

Kid-friendliness: Outdoor picnic tables with umbrellas. Perfect for little ones with sticky fingers.

Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is right next to the order and pickup window which is maybe fifteen feet part. There is no curbs, level surface to use a walker or wheelchair on.“

“I haven’t eaten here and may not ever get a chance to but owner drove 6 hours do deliver a final meal to a terminal stage 4 cancer patient. Someone that loves and cares about people this much deserves the opportunity for you to give them a shot!“

“Ordered breakfast sandwiches, smoothie and donuts from Kill Devil Hills location today. Asked for ketchup for the sandwiches and they said they had none and do not plan on providing ketchup in the future. I am a local. May not come back if they do not provide ketchup. Large double storefront just opened here in KDH and plenty of room for inside tables but no tables. Hopefully these issues will be corrected so I can take my granddaughter to this store again.“

“Easter breakfast was our first time at Henry's. It was by far one of the best breakfast experiences we've had. From the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel like family. Christina couldn't have been more accommodating...making sure everything was to our liking, without being overbearing. And it was the little things that mattered. May sound silly to most, but having syrup on the table for your flapjacks...when ordering hot tea, they bring you a cup of hot water, a tea bag, PLUS a silver container of hot water to place your "used" tea bag in, should you desire another cup of tea. Also, creamer was right on the table. The menu even made sense...build your own omelet.....you pay for what you want! It seemed like all the Employees chipped in. I never saw anyone just standing around. We will certainly be back, and refer folks we know to Henry's. Thank you.“

If you want some good burgers, large selection of beer, and laid-back vibes - this is for you! Our waiter Day S. was very attentive and knowledgeable. Would definitely come back and recommend!“
