“My friends and I had the delicious beet salad with wine and a shared bowl of Mac and Cheese, with lots of cheese.
Parking: Busy restaurant so, of course, there is limited parking, however, well worth waiting for a parking place.“

“My wife and I have enjoyed NC Coast, a sister restaurant, for a while and tried Red Sky for the first time this week for our anniversary. We had a worderful meal and experience. They were incredidbly busy and we had a slight wait, even with a reservation, but both the hostess and our server ensured we were taken care of with excellent customer service. The food was fantastic: fresh, flavorful. I had the Fresh Catch, which was salmon oscar paired with a potato risotto. And I was pleased with the size of salmon for the price. I have often found similar places charging similar prices for half the amount. We are so Glad to have found another great place to eat while visiting the OBX.“

“Amazing anniversary dinner. The food was delicious. These are definitely chef crafted meals with planned flavor pallets. The menu is small, which supports the idea that they give a lot of attention to each meal they offer. There is still a wide variety of flavor pallets to choose from across the dishes though. We got the duck and the salmon, which were both phenomenal. I think we saw most of the other meals go to nearby tables and everything looked so good. The staff was all very friendly and our waitress was on point. She made regular check-ins without making us feel rushed and was very good about keeping drinks full. She was also super helpful in answering our questions and making recommendations. To top it all off, the decor is adorable.“

“We ate here on Friday Oct. 20. Bartender was super friendly. Highly recommend the clam chowder, best we've ever had. I had the Grouper special and it great. My wife had the Tuna, was super pleased, cooked perfect and not many places get it right. They did. Chef was great to talk to. She explained a lot as we sat at the bar waiting for our food. Backyard bar was our kind of place. The band had to cancel because of rain but It would have been a great place to see one. Will go back next time we are in Duck. Thanks for a great experience.“

“Off the Wall was our first stop when we arrived in town and we made it our last stop on our way out! I wish I would’ve gotten the name of the guy who works in the front because he was great. He was so nice and helpful that I thought he was the owner. All of the food we tried was really good, I highly recommend the burger and fries. Also, being able to try any of the beers was a lot of fun. We are looking forward to visiting again soon!!“

“We are out of town visitors who enjoyed our first dinner at Urban Kitchen so much, we went back the following night. The menu is not super big, so we got to try most of the small plates, and at least 2 of the entrees. A couple of our favorites were the avocado crab toast and catfish (small plates). The catfish is actually entree sized, in my opinion, and the avocado crab toast was really tasty and unique. And don’t give dessert a miss - we tried 2 and they were both super good. My husband and I liked the passion fruit pie and our daughter liked the chocolate panna cotta (which is like S’mores) Good service and great food - this place is worth a stop if you’re in town.“

“I got the fried oysters ( they put in a few free clams too) and a crab cake patty with the blonde beer. It was pretty much perfect! Nice and friendly staff was helpful with what I ordered and I would highly recommend you try this place when you come to the Outer Banks area. It’s not to far from the Wright Brothers Flight Memorial State Park!“

“We wanted to try a new-to-us restaurant, and this time it was Two Roads Tavern. In all honesty, we didn't eat at the restaurant, instead we ordered the food from the bar to take home with us. The restaurant atmosphere was interesting - a mix between a dive bar and someone's home bar. When ordered the BACON MAC N JAP burger. It was a hearty burger with jalapenos and mac and cheese on top, bacon jam on the bottom, and a side of hand cut fries. The burger and fries were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The meal was definitely big enough for two people to share. $16 for a burger - not too bad if you share, if each person needs one, maybe a little high. Overall, don't think the atmosphere is for us, but will return again to order takeout.“

“Ordered breakfast sandwiches, smoothie and donuts from Kill Devil Hills location today. Asked for ketchup for the sandwiches and they said they had none and do not plan on providing ketchup in the future. I am a local. May not come back if they do not provide ketchup. Large double storefront just opened here in KDH and plenty of room for inside tables but no tables. Hopefully these issues will be corrected so I can take my granddaughter to this store again.“
“Stopped in for lunch on our way home from OBX. The waitresses were very nice and helpful. The burgers and Rueben were great and I will never forget the waffle cut, sweet potato fries made from scratch by Frank. Our finicky grandchildren also enjoyed the burgers and freshly cut original FF. Very clean. Also, cost nearly the same as fast food! Will return….“

“Hurricane Mo's - my new favorite tiki bar! The outdoor tiki bar located upstairs is absolutely fabulous! Live music, great drinks, amazing food, and stellar views - what more could you ask for? The live guitarist on Sunday was superb! He really took us back to the tropics! Bobbi at the bar was fantastic, friendly, and very accommodating! Started with a key lime margarita - WOW, so amazing - even my beer drinkin mate loved it! Best of all, the food was amazing! The food used to be good, but now it's great! Miss Anne's Chicken Sandwich - WOW -a huge meaty piece of chicken and french fries. If the waiter asks if you want the special cheese topper - the answer should always be YES! It was amazing! We also got the fresh salsa, queso, and chips! WOW! Homemade chips and salsa, what could be better! To end this culinary delight, we chose to get a Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie! My, oh my! Just fantastic! I beg you not to come here - only because then we can enjoy it more! ;)“

“Easter breakfast was our first time at Henry's. It was by far one of the best breakfast experiences we've had. From the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel like family. Christina couldn't have been more accommodating...making sure everything was to our liking, without being overbearing. And it was the little things that mattered. May sound silly to most, but having syrup on the table for your flapjacks...when ordering hot tea, they bring you a cup of hot water, a tea bag, PLUS a silver container of hot water to place your "used" tea bag in, should you desire another cup of tea. Also, creamer was right on the table. The menu even made sense...build your own omelet.....you pay for what you want! It seemed like all the Employees chipped in. I never saw anyone just standing around. We will certainly be back, and refer folks we know to Henry's. Thank you.“

“Shannon at Shipwrecks is why we came back for a second time this week! She by far makes the whole experience and the food is great too! Her attentiveness to us is not only amazing but the time she spends talking with our son is what makes her stand out from other servers. We will continue coming back because of her!“

“Last night we arrived at the paper canoe, expecting to be seated at a table for my birthday dinner. We are locals and did not realize that my husband had accidentally booked a table at the bar. The manager not only found us a beautiful window booth, but when our food Was unfortunately delayed she comped our meal. The thing is we were having such a great time. Great conversations with the staff beautiful views amazing appetizers that we didn’t even notice our food was running late :-). I want to take my hat off to the wonderful staff everybody is very professional, especially the amazing Kara the paper canoes manager. What could have turned into a disappointing evening was transformed into an incredibly fun, relaxing romantic meal, which is what we had hoped for. Oh and if you ever have the opportunity to try the beef, Wellington don’t pass it up :-)“
