Steamers catered our wedding. Working with Cassidy made everything so wonderfully easy. The tastings were great, as was the food at our wedding. We would highly recommend having Steamers cater any/all of your events! (Ps get the white cheddar truffle Mac & cheese, you won’t be disappointed! Our guests also loved the fresh pesto pasta with shrimp)
Steamers catered my daughter’s wedding and the appetizers and dinner food were absolutely delicious! We received so many compliments on the food. The bartenders did a great job too! Highly recommend this caterer!

Based on the reviews, Steamers is a restaurant where the food is a mixed bag. The best service and friendly staff are frequently mentioned, with Trish and the take-out desk person singled out for being outstanding. The menu is extensive, with delicious options like the Yellowfin and Oysters, Shrimp Boat fried shrimp with a light flaky batter, and excellent halibut special. The burgers and fries were surprisingly phenomenal, with crispy, well-seasoned fries and an interesting barbecue ketchup. However, some dishes disappointed, including small steamed clams with no sauce and a not-worth-it $7 baguette. The seafood bisque was decent, and peel-and-eat shrimp were good. The atmosphere is nice with beautiful glassware and tasteful beachy artwork, but it is incredibly loud inside. Service followed a checkered pattern; while attentive, there were mistakes like the wrong glass of wine and being charged twice for bread. Despite these hiccups, the experience was good overall, with reasonable prices for an OBX seafood restaurant. Many guests would definitely return.
