The service and food were very good. We had the Fish and Chips, and the Beef and Grits. Also the Calamari, Seafood Bisque, and Cheesecake. All were delicious. Our waitress Newbern (sp?) was awesome. We will be back.

I am loving coming back again to steamers! It's so good. Just had a taste of a NC bourbon. It was very nice! Can't wait for dinner!! Burger was great. And my wife had fish tacos which looked epic! Let's see what I choose tonight.

I went here recently with my girlfriend and we loved it. It is off the beaten path and I would have driven right past it if I wasn't looking. We sat upstairs so it was a pretty view. We would like to come back and sit outside when the weather is warmer. The food and service was wonderful. We had the chefs special and plan on returning to get the mussels and crab legs...it is called Steamers after all. Also, the server was very excited about the drink special so my girlfriend decided to try it and loved it. It had edible glitter in it so of course she did. This will be on our list of places to visit when we are here from now on.

This was the best dinner we have had in a long time! Everything was fresh and homemade. The pama pirate cocktail was the best drink I have ever had! The cherry was even specially prepared to perfection!!!!

There was the slightest snafu and her promptness to rectify it was impeccable!Atmosphere was beautiful!Now the best thing on the menu, yes I am biased, was the cheesecake! Growing up my Grandma made me a special cheesecake for my birthday. This was the first cheesecake I have EVER had since the passing of my Grandma in 1999 that LITERALLY tasted like hers! I had a whole emotional moment tears and all after the first bite! I had my cousin and mother take a bite and they too agreed that this authentic cheesecake was ironically close to hers. I am here on a weekend getaway but plan to buy a whole cake to share with my father...he might shed a tear too!

My wife and I enjoyed a New Year's Dinner at Steamers. The clam chowder was full of clams and rich. The lobster toast had a full amount of lobster. My wife had the crabcake and it was full of lump crab. I had the lobster ravioli and scallops. Bother were delicious. We slit a cheesecake for dessert. Service was friendly, but a bit slow on drinks. All in all, a wonderful dinner.
Our server Courtney was fantastic! Anticipating our every need, without hovering over our table. Her knowledge of the food and wine offerings was nothing short of professional. Steamers never disappoints and having Courtney as our server made our holiday dinner perfect! We will request her for our next visit! If you haven't tried Steamers- you are missing a hidden gem in the outer banks!
