This place reminds me of our favorite local bars from back home but with a much better view! It's been a bit of a challenge to find a local watering hole that also serves food. We got to meet Barry and his wife - they were so welcoming and fun! We got a couple drinks at the bar, and ordered chicken wings, steamed shrimp and lobster sliders. This local restaurant is a hidden surprise with great food and great service. It is located on a marsh and has nice views of the water. Our server, Sandy, went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stop back in when we are over in Eastern NC again.

Great hidden spot along the main road toward OBX! (Turn at the Hardee's/Royal Farms and keep on goin' to the end of the road.) It's definitely a local divey hideaway, with tons of cool and eclectic rural backwoods decor. GREAT FOOD.
