“This is a don’t judge a book by its cover kind of place. The service was amazing…very friendly and Welcoming atmosphere. The food was amazing, hot, and fresh. Now the wait for the food was a little long but when you taste the food you will know why. I did not get the cooks name, but he made this food with so much love and care. The customer service from the person who greeted us to our waitress that served us was great…..This is a place to stop if you ever traveling in the Carolina’s. “These are some of the best people I know…Hard working family that has educated amazing children; chemical engineering, pharmacist and more coming.. They work ALL of the time and serve fantastic local Chinese food… it’s always fresh and high quality…the prices are a lot of food for your money…and Chinese rice is supposed to be sticky… it’s called sticky rice”

Cindy, the owner, could not have been more gracious and welcoming. It was genuinely great seeing her again after far too long.

We sat at the bar with two of my longtime friends and my beautiful wife, and Ian …bartender and, as far as I’m concerned, Chief Oyster Concierge … made the entire evening even better. His knowledge of oysters and seafood is impressive, but what really stood out was how much he clearly cares about what he does. The conversation was entertaining, intelligent, and educational without ever feeling forced. We learned a ton and had a great time doing it.

If I owned a restaurant, Ian is exactly the kind of person I’d want representing it.

It had been a while since our last visit, but that won’t happen again. North Banks is officially going back into the rotation as one of our go-to restaurants here in Corolla, and we’re already looking forward to coming back in the next week or so.

“The don’t serve food (the serve bar snacks) so we didn’t rate this but we love this place! It’s walkable from our beach house and have been coming here for 11 years. Still the same owners and still a very fun place. There was a gentlemen entertaining us with a great voice and guitar.

Scary that the owners son is in 3rd grade as he as grown up throughout the years (I guess it happens)

Anyway the beer is always cold and the service is always great! It’s a must to stop and grab a beer! There are food options nearby that deliver.
