“We have been several times now, and the food and service are 5 star quality. We mostly get breakfast food, and of all it the pancakes and waffles seem to be the favorite with our group. The staff are fast and efficient but still very friendly. We will be back as often as possible.“

“Love this place ❤. The staff is friendly and the greet you as soon as you enter the door and at the register. You may have to wait for your order a little longer than expected, but that just means your food will be piping hot when you get it. I drive 12 miles from home to get Bojangles food and it's worth every mile of the way. That's my favorite place to go for a tasty meal full of flavor.“

“Fresh, Fresh, Fresh! I just stopped for a late lunch and ordered the Heirloom tomato and steak salad weekly special. Everything including basil, buratta and the local heirloom tomatoes were so flavorful and the steak was perfectly cooked. The chimichurri was the perfect combination to this seasonal salad. It’s so nice to enjoy such amazing food right here in Downtown Elizabeth City where I live-Hoppin John’s is always the greatest place for southern food and hospitality!! Don’t miss our amazing food and drink scene in Elizabeth City!“
