20/10 definitely would recommend, personally Its my new favorite spot
Had an awesome experience at this spot! Hannah was absolutely fantastic—super attentive and friendly. The theme is definitely unique, but once you hear the family history behind it, it all makes sense and adds to the charm. One of the cooks (Keenan) even came out to check on us and shared that many of the recipes come straight from the owners’ mother and grandmother, which explains why the sauces (made in-house!) tasted so fresh and authentic.

Tooley’s Tavern offers a great spot for a quick bite with friendly service. The bar is an Irish pub style with some funky, interesting, and fun decor inside. The building is really cool. The tuna nachos on corn tortilla chips are available for those with gluten issues, recreated by the kind and helpful waitress and chef. The fish and chips are delicious, and the steak is the best in the area. The cheese curds are a favorite for kids. The margaritas, made by Shawna, are spot on and absolutely delicious. The team, including Bri, Hannah, and Megan, provides great service and goes above and beyond. The atmosphere is a great family and friends atmosphere. Kids always love it here. It is one of the favorite places in Elizabeth City, and the experience is always great.
