Based on the reviews, Toyama Japanese Restaurant | Hibachi • Sushi is a no frills Japanese restaurant that has been completely & truly enjoyed by guests since before 9/11. The ambience has never changed, and it is modest but pleasant. The restaurant is always clean, and the service is very prompt, courteous, and always helpful. All emphasis is on the cuisine, which is succulent and truly authentic, and the ever stellar service. The sushi is the best around, and the fish is as fresh as you’re going to get for sashimi. Menu options are plentiful, including Tonkatsu (a crispy-fried pork cutlet) and Salmon Teriyaki. Each meal is served with a bowl of Miso soup, a side salad, and steamed rice. Portion sizes are generous and prices are reasonable. The food is always what guests seem to need and ever delectable. This is the best Japanese food within 30 miles, and the sushi and hibachi are the best around. It is highly recommended.
