“I had the peanut butter chocolate and the caramel cakes when I ordered food from Taste. These cakes are incredible and I want to try them all! We travel all over the world for conferences and look for the best places to dine. This is definitely the best plant based cake I have ever had! Well done!“
“This was an excellent vegan experience.... as my first visit, I wanted to try it all, of course. My French toast was a little burnt, not to my liking. The biscuit was delicious but I didn't care too much for the in-house made "chic'n patty." The tofu scramble was pretty good. I will definitely come back. The staff street friendly and they had several natural items to purchase.Vegetarian options: ALL VEGAN“
“The service, the food, the staff, the OWNER!!!! Everything & everyone is amazing. I truly adore coming into Fruitive. I eat here nearly everyday and the food & service are both elite level! I am only 4 months into my full vegan lifestyle after being vegetarian for a year. I could not be happier & Fruitive could not have made it easier. I am so happy & grateful for them! Please show support so we can get them to open more locations!!“
“I love this place. I come here at least once every time that I'm in town. My favorite smoothie is The Fountain of Youth. But then I also get a few other things to round out my meal. Everything is made to order and everything is delicious. The best smoothie I drink - hands down.“
“Love this bakery. My family goes here for all our special occasions (baby shower, birthdays, anniversary, holiday) and the days we just want a little treat. This place is a hidden gem. I recommend them to anyone with an ear.Vegetarian options: They’re vegan.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free optionsParking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Kid and dog friendly“
“We ordered their Mesob Special Tibs and Ye Tibs Fitfit. I loved their food! However, they do not have many non veg options in their menu. Even from the small menu, they did not have many of the items available which was frustrating. The service can be improved!“
“So many awesome things about this place and I don’t know where to start. Their renovated seating area is amazing - splashes of color, artful decor, etc. Their food is delicious and very different from what I have had - you can tell they’re really wanting to bring a piece of Ghana to Virginia Beach. Their vegan menu is one of the best and they’re able to customize the menu to everyone’s dietary needs.Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“Cute hole in the wall vegan place. The sweets are nice and I uavent had any of their plant based meat other than the breakfast sausage and I dont know what they use to make the sausage but to me it reminds me of goat (yes I have eaten goat several times before I went vegan and the taste is just not for me. So the taste of this sausage also is not for me.) other than the breakfast sausage, the cakes, cupcakes are good. The pancakes are good. The only other negative is that if you want to get their food, go early because they close early. Where as the other vegan places in the area close at 6pm.Vegetarian options: Vegan place.“
“The authentic Guyanese food is absolutely incredible and the fact that it's vegan is even better! Anyone would enjoy it regardless of dietary preferences. The staff are so kind. I've been a couple times now and everything I've ordered has been delicious and the experience has been lovely. Will definitely be back and will spread the word to my friends!“
“OMG! I went there for the first time! Delicious!! I had the lemon ice box cinnamon roll and a piece of lemonberry coffee cake! Why did it take me soooo long to get there?? I will definitely be back! The staff was awesome too, explaining how they handle nut free orders (for my granddaughter).“

“Today was my first visit to Honest Pastures. I’ve ordered from their website over the years to get lunch-meats and have been watching the restaurant through social media. The passion they have and all the amazing ideas they put into their menu have made me want to visit them even more. With a 3 hour drive, I kept putting off the visit. I finally made it and it was absolutely worth it. My crazy, picky daughter loved the gyro, it tasted as good as the very first time she fell in love with the non-vegan gyro! My son got the steak n cheese, which was amazing. It tasted so fresh! My husband had the Rueben, which he’s missed the most since going vegan. It was perfect. They didn’t try and mask it with tons of cheese or sauce. Everything was balanced perfectly. I got the monster mushroom burger. The beaf was house made, you can tell it wasn’t just a frozen patty. The flavors were phenomenal and the pretzel roll just put it over the top. I had to order the N’Arby’s as well, because that place turned me a bit gluttonous. The meat was sliced so thin and piled on the roll, just like I remembered an Arby roast beef sandwich. The flavors brought me back to the original. It was such an amazing experience! The ice cream cake was as amazing as you’d expect from them - after everything else exceeding expectations. We’ll be back for lunch tomorrow… I can’t wait to try more of the amazing meals you create.“
