“Our party of 3 (2 vegetarians and 1 vegan) absolutely loved our lunches here. The owner was friendly and accommodating and obviously puts time and intention into her recipes. We didn't feel like her veggie options were an afterthought, like they were most other places in the OBX. The basil pesto and sun-dried tomato pesto were stellar. The fresh mozzarella was creamy and delicious. Her smoothies and coffee drinks were delicious as well. This was by far our favorite place to eat on our vacation!“

“We returned to the Outer Banks last week after a 20 year hiatus, remembering Tortuga's Lie as one of our favorite places to eat. We ate there on the second night of our stay and no one in the family was disappointed. I had the grilled salmon salad special and coming from a tough critic, it was DELICIOUS and did not disappoint! Everyone enjoyed their meal and the "vibe" was just the same as we remembered. We can't wait to visit again.“

“We come to the OBX annually and I’m SO upset that we just found this place! The treats were amazing, the prices were even better, but the atmosphere is what will bring us back every time from now on!! ❤ Can’t wait to put more money in the walls! “We celebrated our anniversary here and could not have asked for a better experience! From the moment we walked in, everything was absolutely amazing. The food was outstanding — every dish was full of flavor, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. You can truly tell they take pride in both the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. The service was just as impressive. Christa was our server and she went above and beyond to make our night feel special. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the entire evening. It’s rare to find service that stands out this much, but she truly made our anniversary dinner even more memorable. If you are looking for amazing food, outstanding service, and a restaurant that makes you feel appreciated, I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back!“

“South Beach Grill is a staple during our annual OBX vacation. We order from there 2-3 times during the week. They are fast, friendly, and ordering is easy online. Dinner for our group of 9 was ready for pick-up in less than 20 minutes. Everyone has tried multiple things from the menu and everyone was extremely pleased with everything they’ve tried. My favorites are the southwest wrap, burgers, and Buffalo chicken Philly. Their fries are delicious… especially with their fry sauce or BBQ ranch. South Beach Grill is a must have on your OBX vacation!“

“The best ice cream on the beach! It’s all homemade using the finest ingredients. The flavor combos the master chef creates will give you a treat that cannot be matched anywhere else. I try to get something different each visit but everything is so delicious it’s hard not to want a scoop of the flavors I already love plus try something new that I know I’ll enjoy just as much! This place is a 10 out of 10!!!“

“Had the pizza delivered on Friday night to John Yancy Ocean front Inn. The pizza was there within 35 minutes maybe sooner . The ingredients were fresh the pie was delicious. This is our new favorite pizza restaurant. I even ordered one to take back home.“

“NC Coast Grill & Bar was a great lunch stop for my wife and me. We ordered the Damn Good Burger, a double stacked burger that truly lived up to its name.It was juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.
We also ordered the crab dip as an appetizer, and it was very good as well. We loved this place and would definitely recommend it. It was absolutely worth it.“

“Had Lunch with jusband and daughter on 10-15-25 we ordered and ate only to find a roache crawing over my dauthers head on the wall near out booth. “We ate here on Friday Oct. 20. Bartender was super friendly. Highly recommend the clam chowder, best we've ever had. I had the Grouper special and it great. My wife had the Tuna, was super pleased, cooked perfect and not many places get it right. They did. Chef was great to talk to. She explained a lot as we sat at the bar waiting for our food. Backyard bar was our kind of place. The band had to cancel because of rain but It would have been a great place to see one. Will go back next time we are in Duck. Thanks for a great experience.“

“Came here for dinner while on vacation. Everything was excellent from the service to the food. The deserts were okay but we have a daughter that could be a pastry chef so we’re a little spoiled in that department. Our servers, especially Cassie, were amazing and attentive and the restaurant was very clean which I find impressive in a seafood buffet. We would definitely come again.“

“Great burgers! Wait staff was fantastic. They were also very accommodating for a shellfish allergy and used a pan on the grill and changed gloves, as to not cross contaminate.(kitchen is open, so I watched the process) Also the waiter immediately told me I wouldn’t be able to eat the fries due to cross contamination and subbed a salad for the same price. We will return on our next visit.“
