“First time here and we loved it!! Definitely spent a lot more than at normal all you can eat, but the quality is AMAZING and WORTH IT. We will definitely be coming back here for date nights! “Unassuming place you can easily drive past if you aren’t looking for it. Excellent sandwiches, especially deli meats. It’s November, and I just ate a fresh tomato in my Italian sub. Solid choice for pickup. In the summer, parking may be limited, but there is a public lot across Norfolk Ave.“

“This was a very cool place! We are vacationing in VB and are vegan so finding a restaurant that had so many options to make their regular menu items vegan was amazing. I had the vegan carne asade tacos and they were delicious. The chunky guac and house made chips were also great for everyone to share. Other members of my family got chicken tacos, taco salad, and cheese quesadilla, all made vegan for us and everyone was really happy with their food. The interior is fun and cool atmosphere here. Very surfside vibe like Southern California! We used to live in SoCal and know what great Mexican food is like…this was very authentic and very well done! Highly recommend this place.“

and we’re not from the area, so I didn’t anticipate needing a reservation… we were definitely wrong! I will say, however, that the hostess and staff were super accommodating and seated us immediately. The food was absolutely delicious and came out fast, and the staff was very professional. “We have eaten several breakfasts - all have been high quality at very reasonable cost. Great waffles. I am now eating dinner here ordered a bowl of seafood soup and chicken street tacos. The seafood soup was amazing- fresh seafood and spices, cream sauce was rich but not too heavy. Tacos were unexpected treat. Fire roasted corn, flavorful chicken, spices were a tasty j*** with nice heat and tamarind .This restaurant should be crowded. Why eat lousy fast food or overpriced franchised food when you can eat here. It does feel odd to walk into the Crowne Plaza hotel to get there but do it! You will be surprised by friendly attentive staff and great food for very little!“

“Located near Red Mill, Back Bay Gourmet offers a touch of beachy elegance to a busy
shopping center. The restaurant had a very aesthetically pleasing atmosphere with beachy
decor and grand chandeliers. The menu offers a wide selection of food, making it perfect for any
occasion- they even have a kids menu.
For lunch, you can choose from wraps, burgers, hot and cold sandwiches, and Paninis.
For dinner they have burgers, pizza, and a variety of sea based entrees. One dish that stood out
to me was the Sandbridge Sandwich, which is a hot sandwich with honey ham, applewood
smoked bacon, grilled pineapple, cheese, and coleslaw, all served on ciabatta bread.
The staff is younger but are incredibly respectful, welcoming, and inventive. My waitress
frequently checked up on my table and ensured that my drinks were refilled. For a fancier
restaurant, the prices are surprisingly reasonable, and unlike many nicer restaurants, they don't
skimp on proportions.
The restaurant is very clean, and the bathrooms are well maintained. Overall, if you are
looking for a beachy, expensive looking restaurant that still has the price of a normal restaurant,
I would definitely recommend Back Bay Gourmet.“

“What a splendid experience! The best dining experience I have ever had in all my life. I was personally greeted by staff members upon my arrival. I was treated like a king. I was treated like royalty. I might be a regular person, but while I was in that restaurant I felt like I resided in the Royal Palace in England itself. Except for the fact that the food I received was so much better then whatever dish the finest chefs in the royal palace could possibly conceive. It was my understanding that Chick fil a prides themselves on customer service, and I became sure of that today. The food was indeed delightful. My meal was splendid! and the experience was fantastic as well. As soon as I bit into that crispy chicken tender, a teardrop fell from my eye. It was unlike anything I had every tried before, and unlike anything I will every try again (unless of course I happen to stop by the Chick-Fil-A 877 Parkway Plaza location once again, which I am sure I will.) It was a great experience. After I left the restaurant, I called my whole family to tell them of this marvelous time I had at Chick-Fil-a. Even my family on the west coast is flying over as I type this review to try it for themselves. I am certain they will not be disappointed. “Had a group of 5 dine on 7/9. Ambiance and service were stellar. Filet, Chicken, French Dip, and Crab Cakes were top shelf! Ribeye left a bit to be desired, will avoid that one next time. Calamari and crab dip appetizers were also very good!“

“Bagel Baker is just so good. Not par-baked NY bagels, made from scratch local bagels.

I get the lox bagel. I love how it's two open-faced sandwiches. Bagels with soft stuff inside always fail because when you take a bite, the innards squeeze out.

The shop is clean and inviting.

“I was very reluctant to go to a Panera again but did so with my Dad for lunch today waiting for my truck to be done at Beach Ford. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the place from the windows, counters, tables and carpets. (Yes, I look at that stuff) The manager & staff were great too. They actually looked like they were happy to be there. The food was great, fresh & hot! Maybe it’s unfair to compare two locations but the difference is night & day. Keep up the great work. I will go out of my way to come again to this location even though Kemps River location is way more convenient on my way to work.“
