“We frequent Embassy Suites in Virginia Beach often since they opened, and we always make several visits to Article’s Bar and Grill. The only reason this post isn’t a 1star review is because of Christian and Tripp both went above and beyond with their customer service. They were kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They are a true asset behind the bar and know how to make guests feel welcome. Unfortunately, we did have a very awkward and unpleasant encounter with another bartender (Lori) on two separate visits. We weren’t the only ones who noticed, her attitude came across as rude and unhappy to be there, which made customers uncomfortable. The first time, we let it go because everyone can have an off day. But the second time, her energy was even worse. I did bring it up to a manager on site, and I truly hope it gets addressed because that type of experience can easily drive customers away. Aside from that, the wings were delicious, and the drinks that Christian and Tripp prepared were great. Until next time—we’re hoping for a better experience overall.“

It is fine dining with the typical tourists wearing sweat pants and tshirts mixed among Beautiful Dresses & Suits.
The food is AMAZING, the service is WONDERFUL & the Piano Man is the BEST!
I LOVE this place and experience of a Sensational night out.
I do wish they could enforce a dress code but money is money and turning down business in this economy is not feasible.
My family & I will continue to dress up for a Phenomenal dinner and will always have our Special Occasions here at II Giardino Ristorante.

“Back Bay Gourmet is located in the Red Mill Walk Shopping Center in Virginia Beach. They are between Home Goods and Petco for visual reference. My visit here was on June 1, 2026.

The outside of the business isn't hard to find. The large signage and being located along a curve in the shopping center helps make it stand out and easier to find. You can see the available outdoor seating there too. It wasn't too busy either for around 4:20 pm on a weekday.

My mom came with me on this visit. We had found a gift card for here, so that's what brought us here. Once you come inside, the first thing I noticed is that to the left was primarily a shopping area for stuff, and the restaurant is on the right side of the business. We were immediately greeted at the entrance and went to a table in the dining area. Shortly after, our server Olivia came to the table to introduce herself and ask us what we wanted to drink. In this case, both of us just had water, though I had mine with lemon in it.

After the drinks came, she asked if we were ready to order, but we weren't quite ready since it was the first time here for us. After several minutes passed, she came back and we were finally ready to order. My mom ordered the Egg Salad Sandwich and I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Panini. Both sandwiches came with their housemade chips.

After about ten minutes or so, the food came out to the table. Both food items looked really good. The Chipotle Chicken Panini was hot and flavorful. It did pack some spice, but not too much. The homemade chips were good and crispy too, just the way I like them. My mom really liked the Egg Salad Sandwich and the chips too.

Overall, this was a very good visit. The food and service were great. When it came time to pay, the gift card didn't work and they were not able to honor it. Apparently the gift card was pretty old. The manager came and checked it out too and couldn't make it work either. She said that I would be contacted afterwards, but I never did hear anything back about it. They are locally owned, so it was likely something they couldn't do. Regardless, I do plan to come back in the future as the food was really good, though not too much since I don't want to over-carb myself too much. If you're looking for a local non-chain sandwich place, this place is worth checking out.“

“My wife and I come here often for special occasions! Last night, we celebrated my wife’s birthday. Casey was our server and she was so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. She consistently checked up on us and made the experience amazing. Of course, a reason to come to the Hunt Room is the atmosphere. So romantic and cozy. Had live music which only added to the experience. Our food and drinks were perfect and my wife said it was the best birthday dinner ever. “This was a very cool place! We are vacationing in VB and are vegan so finding a restaurant that had so many options to make their regular menu items vegan was amazing. I had the vegan carne asade tacos and they were delicious. The chunky guac and house made chips were also great for everyone to share. Other members of my family got chicken tacos, taco salad, and cheese quesadilla, all made vegan for us and everyone was really happy with their food. The interior is fun and cool atmosphere here. Very surfside vibe like Southern California! We used to live in SoCal and know what great Mexican food is like…this was very authentic and very well done! Highly recommend this place.“

“i went yeaterday around 5:30 pm and the service and professionalism was top notch and way above what i expected. my very first time personally going to chic fil a despite eating it before and its a place i wish other places modeled their professionalism and a place i would definatlety visit again for a quick bite to eat. im sure other locations are great but i visited this one specifically traveling from Richmond for work and those employees really showed me theres still good hard working young people with decent morales and ethics looking to start their futures and financially stabilize themselves. “Came in today for some quick eats before heading back home, and was served by such a lovely woman named Connie.
She took her time with my order and really kept and replicated the Chick-fil-a experience. I was asked if I wanted to scan my app to receive or use rewards, which is great to see employees recommending the use of the app.
She even recommended the water option with my food even though I didn’t out right order. Which was just that extra mile experience that I truly love to see from chick-fil-a’s.

Food is only a 4- 4.5 star because there was not a lot of vinaigrette with my kale salad that I’m used to, but my fries were hot crispy and golden meeting the cfa standard.“

“My wife and I ent her on Saturday nite. Our waitress, Maggie went above and beyond exceptionalism. She was there every time we needed anything. Constantly came by to check on us, but not annoyingly so. Her attitude was great , personality was exactly what is required in the human to human experience. She was absolutely one of the best servers I have encountered in awhile. She is a credit to Olive Garden and this world.
