“We frequent Embassy Suites in Virginia Beach often since they opened, and we always make several visits to Article’s Bar and Grill. The only reason this post isn’t a 1star review is because of Christian and Tripp both went above and beyond with their customer service. They were kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They are a true asset behind the bar and know how to make guests feel welcome. Unfortunately, we did have a very awkward and unpleasant encounter with another bartender (Lori) on two separate visits. We weren’t the only ones who noticed, her attitude came across as rude and unhappy to be there, which made customers uncomfortable. The first time, we let it go because everyone can have an off day. But the second time, her energy was even worse. I did bring it up to a manager on site, and I truly hope it gets addressed because that type of experience can easily drive customers away. Aside from that, the wings were delicious, and the drinks that Christian and Tripp prepared were great. Until next time—we’re hoping for a better experience overall.“

“I have been to several Cavas and this one has the freshest and most flavorful food. I understand they have standardized recipes to follow but a some of them miss the mark. Susan & Shakuria were hustling to take care of their customers, they did a great job ensuring we all were served to the best of their abilities & that we received delicious food & beverages as quickly as they could provide them. They worked well as a team, Susan taking orders & serving and Shakuria cooked all the delicious food!! I had a yummy Muffuletta with Mac & cheese and hubs had fries with his. Their Mac & cheese is crazy good, the best l've had in a restaurant! Susan mixed up a tasty lemon drop martini for me, it's difficult to get a good lemon drop anywhere in the 757 and this one was a favorite! Clayton's has a good selection of $1 beers, yes a can of beer is only $1, so hubs had and local IPA & a PBR! We enjoyed our experience at Clayton's & definitely recommend! If we hadn't been set on having muffulettas I would have ordered their special of the day, a butter burger with fries for $8.99! On Monday I sent Clayton's an email inquiring if they would be serving muffulettas for Fat Tuesday since we live 30 minutes away and received a timely reply from the owner, Ralph Anderson, I was happy to see that they provide great customer service from beginning to end!“

“My wife and I come here often for special occasions! Last night, we celebrated my wife’s birthday. Casey was our server and she was so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. She consistently checked up on us and made the experience amazing. Of course, a reason to come to the Hunt Room is the atmosphere. So romantic and cozy. Had live music which only added to the experience. Our food and drinks were perfect and my wife said it was the best birthday dinner ever. It was a staple and whenever my family and I were in town for vacation we’d always eat at Black Angus and it would be the highlight meal of the trip, every time!! I have always loved the “fancy chairs” and after not eating here since the other location closed, until last night, I was pleased to see the same chairs and decor! And the food was amazing as ever.. wow! The steak frittes, fries, salad, sauces and hush puppies was seriously one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten in my entire life!! The prices are so good for what you get.. quantity and quality wise. And the service was equally as amazing, very attentive and friendly and just wonderful!! “I mean it's Chick-fil-A! What can you say wrong right? The customer service is clearly always spectacular and that's why we continue to go. They're the only fast food place that I know of that has an indoor play park like when I was a kid that I can take my kids to! So that is a big part of going and if other places did that they would get a lot more business too I'm sure of it. It looks very cleanly in there. The food is always good. Always pretty quick. I like that for the kids meal instead of getting the toy you can ask for an ice cream instead and hold off on it if you're eating in until you're ready for it for the child. Or yourself! “This was a very cool place! We are vacationing in VB and are vegan so finding a restaurant that had so many options to make their regular menu items vegan was amazing. I had the vegan carne asade tacos and they were delicious. The chunky guac and house made chips were also great for everyone to share. Other members of my family got chicken tacos, taco salad, and cheese quesadilla, all made vegan for us and everyone was really happy with their food. The interior is fun and cool atmosphere here. Very surfside vibe like Southern California! We used to live in SoCal and know what great Mexican food is like…this was very authentic and very well done! Highly recommend this place.“

We were seated immediately and had a very attentive waiter who clearly knew the menu inside and out. She was a wealth of knowledge and answered all of our questions with confidence. “Wow. 🤤 the food was so delicious!!!!!! Fresh off the grill, and still hot by the time I got home. all the ingredients were fresh, high-quality, light and flavorful. Big portions, tender and perfectly cooked protein, fluffy yummy rice. Perfectly cooked lo mein noodles!!!!!!! Omygoshhhh 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤😭 i also wanted to point out that they gave me a lot of veggies! They were hiding in the noodles and under the steak ☺️

I love the care and quality that was so clearly put into preparing this meal. I also liked that, unlike most hibachi places, the food wasn’t greasy or heavy. It had a very healthy but still delicious quality to it! I don’t think I will want to go anywhere else for hibachi from now on. 🥲 and I’ll have to go back soon to try their sushi and appetizers!

There’s something special about a quiet small business that makes simple but incredibly delicious food with care that leaves you feeling warm. And It doesn’t have to be Michelin star or a super extravagant meal to be the best, which I certainly feel it is.

I also really appreciated that the woman at the counter prepared my takeout bag so thoughtfully and even offered to help me to my car, because I was carrying my baby with me. Thank you so much. 🙏“

Not ONLY was the customer service absolutely refreshing but when I returned to my office the slice was still piping hot! “i went yeaterday around 5:30 pm and the service and professionalism was top notch and way above what i expected. my very first time personally going to chic fil a despite eating it before and its a place i wish other places modeled their professionalism and a place i would definatlety visit again for a quick bite to eat. im sure other locations are great but i visited this one specifically traveling from Richmond for work and those employees really showed me theres still good hard working young people with decent morales and ethics looking to start their futures and financially stabilize themselves. “This was my first time being to an Olive Garden and I am so glad that this location got to be my first experience, it was amazing. First off, I wanna mention that the server we had was named Alicia and oh my gosh I loved her vibe. She was so nice, attentive, and everything a good server should be. Probably one of my favorite waitresses/servers that I've ever had out of all the restaurants I've been to, she was absolutely amazing (give her a raise guys lol).
I came here with my 2 friends and we got seated at a table pretty quick, the atmosphere was so nice and there was a large group next to us that was loud but that's not Olive Garden's fault and they left while we were still there fortunately. I loved the way that the food was presented and the taste? I'm not sure words could describe how great the taste was of everything. I ordered the smaller portion chicken parm that came with a salad, all of it was amazing I'm incredibly satisfied. Probably the best chicken parm I've had from a place so far, the parmesean cheese they use is really good too! The salad dressing is honestly really good and everything was so fresh in the salad, I also got a tea as my beverage and I forget which one it was exactly unfortunately but I think it was a raspberry tea? It was also super good, the flavor was just the right amount and they didn't overdo it with the ice either, good size glass as well!
My friend's got refills on their drinks without even asking (i didnt need a refill while we were there but I was offered one in a takeout cup when we were leaving) and we got a refill on breadsticks pretty promptly. I now understand why Olive Garden's breadsticks are so hyped up omg, they definitely deserve the hype they were super tasty. My friend also ordered fried mozzarella as the appetizer and those were super delicious as well. Overall, everything that we ordered was fresh, presented well, and delicious. The server was such a good person and made our visit even better with her energy, she really made us feel cared for as well. Everything about this visit was phenomenal and I would 100% return, definitely recommend as well!“
