“Mom and Son Thai Kitchen is the best Thai restaurant that I’ve tried. My family loves it as do all the family and friends that I’ve recommended it to. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing. I’ve always liked Thai food, but I LOVE the Thai food from Mom and Son Thai Kitchen. It is very fresh and full of flavor. Everything I’ve had tastes like it was made from scratch with love. My favorite dishes are the Thai fried rice, basil stir fry, Pad Kee Mao, and the Thai Noodle Soup. If you’ve never tried this place, go try it ASAP!“

“Staff is nice, plz get the super Philly because it has the most meat, yummy! My food was made fresh to order & hot 🔥 . The Philly wasn’t seasoned enough for me, but they provided extra garlic salt & it was perfect once added! The fries weren’t my favorite cut or texture, but it was hot & complemented my sub. The reese's  cup cookie was delicious and was a flavorful way to end my meal. This location is in desperate need of a remodel, but I’ll be back !“

“Do not let the exterior fool you, this place is gold. The interior could use some love but honestly it doesn’t bother me.

The girl behind the counter was kind, professional, and even gave me a bottle of Pepsi instead of a can because that was cold and the cans were still warm as she just restocked them. Just the thoughtfulness made me want to leave this review.

The two men behind the counter making the food were super friendly and very polite.

The pizza was crispy, had the right balance of cheese and sauce and could tell it was fresh.

I also ordered the stuffed shells and MAN. They were amazing. They cooked it just enough so the shells weren’t soggy and the cheese was crispy on top of the shells in all the right ways. 10/10.

The prices were awesome too, I didn’t walk away being like dang should I really have bought that after. I believe my bill was $19 for the soda, a slice, side salad, and shells.

I’ll be back to try other items on the menu because this place deserves more than 4.0 stars.“

“We come here pretty often, and I just wanted to give a little shoutout to the staff and especially Coach Taylor! Everyone here is always so incredibly kind and welcoming, and the customer service is consistently amazing.

Today, Coach Taylor personally brought our food out to our table and even brought my kids a cow, which absolutely made their day. It’s little things like that that really stand out and make you appreciate a local business.

“I was able to come to this restaurant in support of Dining Out For Life Hampton Roads and I was in awe of the atmosphere. The restaurant was so gorgeous and eclectic! I enjoyed not only the food but also the music. I ordered the shrimp appetizer with the Steak platter and it was all so delicious! The portions were quite large so I ended up having to take a Togo box but my waitress Savannah was the most welcoming and she was so attentive. “Omg where do I start!!! Me and my wife came Friday the 16th!! We didn’t have a reservation and I promise you I suggest making one especially on I house guess the weekend. We decided to sit at the bar instead of a window seat I also let the host know if someone cancels or if a Hi top come available please let us know. After 2 cocktails in which was amazing we got lucky got a seat! All you could see was the kitchen door flying open lol as the waitresses was bringing dishes I mean we only do fine dining when we eat out but I honestly wasn’t expecting something at this caliber seriously, you know we eat alot of places and sometimes the food just doesn’t be seasoned the way you expected especially if its plated nicely. Because it’s true we eat with our eyes first! But let me tell you!!! Goddd KISS THE CHEF!! The Owner, Owners whoever lol because every aspect was on point from service to atmosphere it really was unbelievable! I felt like I was in a major city!! Miami especially because I’ve had the oxtail lasagna there so I advised my wife to get that and I got the 37oz Tomahawk for 2 top with crab meat lol I love a good steak seriously. We didn’t get any appetizers because I wanted to save my appetite and my mental was in my pocket lol if you know what I mean but a $100 for a tomahawk with roasted potatoes it was no way I wasn’t gonna have that for dinner and some left for breakfast with cheese eggs in the morning lol Now when my steak came out! I ordered medium in which I expected to see pink because medium requires pink and who orders a well done steak anyway??? I mean it was cooked and seasoned to perfection with roasted potatoes and onions OMG I’M GOING BACK THERE!! Soon!! I taste my wife oxtail lasagna because she just kept saying how much better it tasted here lol so I did and she wasn’t exaggerating I mean the pasta sauce was sweet with garlic Omg how did they make a sauce that good and it had tomato chunks in it not the big crazy chunks but just perfect everything was PERFECT THIS PLACE DESERVES A MICHELIN⭐️ if thats possible in this area Ive ate in numerous countries because of my military background but this place is one for the books!!“

“I was in the Wards Corner area today and I decided to try Clean Eatz for the first time. I had the chocolate and peanut butter smoothie. The lady behind the register that it is her favorite smoothie because you can not go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate. She was so right because it was very good. I also had the good for you nachos.“

“The Greenbrier Ruby Tuesday is the best one. I get the salad bar every time I go. The food is great and the staff are kind and welcoming. I have had Lisa as a server several times and she is wonderful with checking in to ensure I am doing okay and if I need anything. “Ate in a group of 8 for lunch and they gave us a pretty much private dining room area with this utterly beautiful chandelier. When I saw the chandelier, I could not take my eyes off of it. I ordered half lemonade half iced tea iced tea pretty good but tasted a little like horse interestingly. For food I got the 6 oz sirloin that came with a side of fettuccini or something. For appetizers we got calamari and fried mozzarella. The calamari was pretty good but the fried mozzarella was too cheesy and I wasn’t a fan. I ordered the steak medium and it was a little overcooked but overall pretty juicy and great flavors and seasoning plus a pretty good crust. Not a bad steak for an Olive Garden I’ll say. I was too scared to eat the fettuccini so I’ll never know how that tasted. Overall Olive Garden seems good but not the place for me.“

I have Celiac disease, so cross-contamination is a serious safety concern for me. I specifically explained my gluten sensitivity and Celiac disease, and they were very caring and understanding. They were honest that they couldn’t guarantee there would be no cross-contamination, but they did everything they could to minimize the risk and prepare my order safely. That honesty and effort meant so much to me.
My order was ready on time, and the service was top-notch. It’s not every day you find a restaurant that takes food safety concerns seriously and treats you with such care. I truly appreciate this establishment and will definitely be back. Love this place!“

“My mom and I visited this location for the first time today. It wasn't busy at all. I went to the kiosk to order the food /drinks and our order was ready within a few minutes. We ordered the two entrees with a side. My mom stated that the half turkey sandwich that she had was a little dry and she have ordered a soup with it. “The best Thai food in the Virginia Beach area. They have too many locations. The owner runs a business with over 15 years of experience. It’s very authentic Thai food. They have one at Red Mill ( Va beach) and Norfolk. I love all food. Please try it out you will love it. Only one place has authentic Thai food.“

I was stationed at NOB on the USS Iwo Jima in 1992 until decommissioned in 1993 then to the USS WASP 93 to 96. We used to always order from Cals Pizza and subs. I used to get the cheese steak sub and suicide wings. This place was the best. Good to see they are still in business serving Virginia and the Navy.
