I’m a Portsmouth native and grew up eating Grinders. When I come back to town I try to always go get one. The place the food everything is how I remember it. I’m 43 now and it’s still the treat now it was then.
My husband and I love Greater Grinders! He had a steak and cheese. I had a Greater Grinder (added sweet and hot peppers...mmm!) The toasted bread is the best! The seasoning and oil and vinegar take it to another level. We had a whole sub and neither of us could finish it, even though we really wanted to. The price is really reasonable too!Parking: The lot is not a large lot, but it seems to be ample parking.
