A classic sub shop in Norfolk. I'm visiting from out of town right now so I've been relying on restaurants for all my meals this week. This is the best place I've eaten here.

Horrible experience today! I have watched the service go down over the years. Food quality has definitely changed and the constant change of staff says a lot as well. Jessica the manager service is horrible!! Every since her promotion she has become snobby! You can always see a difference when the Owner is there unfortunately he can’t be there all the time! Tables were dirty! People were cleaning off they own tables, guy cashier not pleasant! Sandwich was extremely hard after I requested lightly toasted. Go elsewhere cause the ladies working today were all not friendly and not clean!

Decided to go to Greater Grinders since I had not been in a while. Waited over 20 minutes for a sub after being told it would be 10 minutes. And I was the only person waiting. I did get to listen to the workers talk about other employees and how not to get fired. The wait sucked because they did more talking to each other than making my food. Not to mention while walking out the door I missed the step down and fell to the ground. Squishing my sub and scaring up my knuckles and scrapping my knees and pulling a muscle in my back. Sub was great but service and building will make it my last time there fir a very long time.Parking: Had to park at the 7-11 across the street.

The sandwich was very skimpy and salty. Bread was soft! Crazy guy came on property and was making threats ?????????????????. Paid cash, will not be going back ?.
I've recently noticed that this place gives you a certain total over the phone then charges you a different price in person. I was charged $29 for an order I was quoted $19 for. Then I was charged $45 for another order I was quoted $28 on. Also had to confront one of the women in person after being rude to my mother on the phone. Food is ok but the staff always seem to have an attitude.
