“I absolutely recommend this place! Their food is somehow better than their coffee and their coffee is immaculate! I ordered the K BBQ grilled cheese and the char was just a hair more than I’d traditionally prefer but that didn’t affect the flavor in the least bit. Despite the flaw, the sandwich was a 10! Don’t get me started on this amazing atmosphere. In an environment as rich in local coffee shops and K BBQ I’ll absolutely be coming back here. They’ve managed to make a returning customer effortlessly! 10/10 recommend!”

“I looked so hard to find a place that makes true New York pizza. I’m talking coal fired or wood fired brick oven pizza. This place is as close as you can get to that without being in Manhattan. These guys are doing it right and I hope they are wildly successful.”

Driving 30 mins to be told your closed for hvac isn't your fault but I'm allowed to be irritated by it. Following me outside with an attitude is not ok when I have kids with me. Do better.”

We decided to sit at the bar instead of a window seat I also let the host know if someone cancels or if a Hi top come available please let us know. All you could see was the kitchen door flying open lol as the waitresses was bringing dishes I mean we only do fine dining when we eat out but I honestly wasn’t expecting something at this caliber seriously, you know we eat alot of places and sometimes the food just doesn’t be seasoned the way you expected especially if its plated nicely. Because it’s true we eat with our eyes first! But let me tell you!!! Goddd KISS THE CHEF!! The Owner, Owners whoever lol because every aspect was on point from service to atmosphere it really was unbelievable! I felt like I was in a major city!! Miami especially because I’ve had the oxtail lasagna there so I advised my wife to get that and I got the 37oz Tomahawk for 2 top with crab meat lol I love a good steak seriously. We didn’t get any appetizers because I wanted to save my appetite and my mental was in my pocket lol if you know what I mean but a $100 for a tomahawk with roasted potatoes it was no way I wasn’t gonna have that for dinner and some left for breakfast with cheese eggs in the morning lol Now when my steak came out! I ordered medium in which I expected to see pink because medium requires pink and who orders a well done steak anyway??? I mean it was cooked and seasoned to perfection with roasted potatoes and onions OMG I’M GOING BACK THERE!! Soon!! I taste my wife oxtail lasagna because she just kept saying how much better it tasted here lol so I did and she wasn’t exaggerating I mean the pasta sauce was sweet with garlic Omg how did they make a sauce that good and it had tomato chunks in it not the big crazy chunks but just perfect everything was PERFECT THIS PLACE DESERVES A MICHELIN⭐️ if thats possible in this area Ive ate in numerous countries because of my military background but this place is one for the books!!”

“We came upon this hidden gem when visiting Chelsea Bakehouse last week. We passed by this quaint house with a lovely garden and noticed people sitting out in the garden. Out front there was a sign about wine tasting and Turkish Breakfast on sat and sun mornings…we were intrigued. So we planned to go the following Saturday. Walked in and there was a beautifully decorated “in house”dining area. Very intimate. We opted to sit in the garden since the weather was perfect. Jason who was our server (come to find out part owner as well) was so welcoming and friendly. He chatted about the menu as well as the house and gardens. It was like talking with an old friend. The first course of three came out. It’s only $25 per person and you can order extras from course 1 and 2. My whole party eats a plant based diet so we were delighted that all the dishes are vegetarian. Everything was delicious! We wanted to dig in right away and forgot to take pictures. The atmosphere was so chill, like you were having breakfast at a friend’s house. We cannot wait to go back and try dinner!”

“Fast unload once you get into the door I talked to several people in receiving very polite very professional and when it comes to getting into this place make left on olney and left into driveway. The other way to get in I was told that gate is permanently locked so olney is only way in. I had good experience will come here again.”

“I don’t normally leave reviews but I highly recommend biryani hub. We were actually going to the restaurant next to it when we happened to see Biryani Hub. We decided to give it a try and was not disappointed. I’m super picky with Indian food and never really ventured out of the chicken masala. Yesterday I tried their goat Saag gosht (goat) and it was absolutely delicious. The garlic naan is a bit on a tough side but still delicious. Definitely coming back here”

We ordered tomato soup(which was specially customized the way my son likes) and he liked it and then cheese tomato was loved by all of us and we were amazed to see the order of four rotis which was going on ‘n’ on and we packed the left over at the end. We relished gulab jamun(freshly prepared in restaurant) and ras malai. The owner of the restaurant treated us like a family. They prepared tea for us while leaving out of love and didn’t charge for it. We thoroughly enjoyed having food there. Whenever we will go next time, will explore more recipes. “The staff at this BK are the best, and the quality of the food they serve reflects that they care about their customers and want to put out a good looking and tasting product. Every time I’ve ordered here the food takes a minute or two to be made, so prepare for a little bit of a wait. BUT, the food is AMAZING quality! Hot fries every time, cheese melted nicely on the burgers, soft buns and not overloaded with condiments, and they don’t give you a 10:1 ice:drink ratio in your cup! Keep it up folks!”

“I recently took my family on a Virginia Beach vacation, while we were there, we ate at Our Peoples, with some friends of mine who are locals to OV. This was definitely a highlight of our trip. My entire trip up until stepping through the doors at Our Peoples was pretty lackluster as far dinning was concerned. This place really knocked my socks off!

I was welcomed by friendly staff right away, and they were very patient and helpful as we navigated an unfamiliar menu and restaurant.

The building is clean, spacious, well arranged, and tastefully decorated.

Now for the meat and potatoes, err, seafood?!

I ordered the bacon cheeseburger that has shrimp and lobster on the top (I forget the name), but I have to imagine there is some sort of sorcery in addition to the normal ingredients because it may very well have been the most delicious burger I’ve ever encountered, and this isn’t an exaggeration, it’s unlike anything I’ve ever had. It‘s made me question everything I thought I knew about burgers, and quite possibly cuisine in general.

The portions were unbelievable considering the price which was shockingly affordable. I don’t know if this is just normal for OV compared to VB, but in Colorado (where I live), that amazing burger is $45 on the low end, and I paid $20 for it out there.
Additionally, dad law requires me to eat my kids left overs if they exist, they had a chicken sandwich and it was straight fire as well.

In closing, if you have the opportunity to eat here, do it, do it everyday they’re open. Love their stuff, and I can’t wait to get back out there, if only for that sweet sweet burger!”

“I got the grilled chicken Banh Mi. It was nice and warm and tasty! The chicken portion was not much but the balance of the sandwich itself was really good between the crunchy cucumber, tanginess of pickled veggies. The bread was warm crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside.

I got the boba tea. It was refreshing but a little bit too much ice for me. I do like the plentiful selections available.

Most of all, I witness a kind act of kindness between the store and someone in need when I was there. It speaks a lot about a local business. 100% will come back.”
