“I’ve tried five different all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants between Richmond and Virginia Beach, and Daiwa Sushi is easily my favorite.

While I’ve experienced friendly service and clean restaurants at most places I’ve visited, Daiwa truly stands out in flavor and freshness. Everything I ordered tasted fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. The sushi rolls were flavorful, the fish tasted great, and even the appetizers and hot dishes were excellent.

The service was friendly, the restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the food kept me wanting to order more. It’s clear they care about the experience they provide.

“We arrived for dinner at about 8:30 pm. No other customers in the garden which was a glorious experience, large mature koi ponds were as elegant as any I’ve seen and the large scale of the restaurant was stunning. We ordered about 6 for a party of three and it cost about 2000 pesos ($100ish). The preparation and presentation that went into the meal was authentic and very easy on the palate and the eyes. We ate everything in sight and did not leave hungry. It was superb. Way too much good food and all of us want to return asap. Fine dining! Easy parking. Fully accommodating for large and small parties. Highest recommendations. Lulu.“

I've tried multiple places in Norfolk and they disguise their mediocre sushi with a bunch of sauces and too much rice on top of being poorly rolled. Here, I got the Yummy roll and salmon avo roll. I got huge ratio of salmon and the rice was perfect. The sushi was also rolled perfectly and didn't fall apart when picking it up. Great service from one of the ladies as well. She saw me using my phone and got me a phone stand. Also got me a cup of ice for my bottled soda without asking. Inside is clean but nothing fancy. Definitely a spot for lunch. They have also expanded their sushi menu it seems.“
