“The gyudon is to die for. I'd even go as far to say, it's some of the best gyudon in the United States. The staff is very kind and welcoming. I'm not local, but I wish I was so I could enjoy their food all the time. Highly recommend.“
“I ordered baked goods from Mei twice this summer. She is an absolute angel to work with and she is an AMAZING baker! I cannot wait to try everything she offers. She maintains communication, lets you know when your order is ready, and everything is delicious. 1000/10. The employees are also very kind when you come in to pick up your order!“
“Huge portion for the meals!! The hibachi chicken came with 2 scoops of fried rice, tons of chicken, and vegetables underneath ($11). Everything tasted delicious, but I wish there were onions with the vegetables. It also came with a side of yum yum sauce. I also ordered the miso soup ($2.50) and it was another large portion! Definitely worth the price for quantity and flavor. The tofu in the soup was soft and silky, delicious! The house salad ($2.50) was just chopped up iceberg lettuce and a side of ginger dressing. I would've liked some additional veggies in there as well, like carrot or cucumber.“
“Pretty darn good!I got the Hell Ramen which is a spicy tonkatsu and it was great! Very flavorful and the pork was delicious! There was a previous review where a guy said the sushi wasn't great and the service was slow. I disagree with him on the sushi, I think it was good. Not the best I've had, but certainly not bad. The spicy tuna and shrimp tempura were pretty tasty! However, the service was a tad slow but not a deal breaker. All in all it was a good experience.Ps: the picture of the ramen is messy because I had already digged in but I assure you the dish looked much prettier when I started. Haha“
“Place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The food was so fresh and tasteful and chef Eddie gives an experience that is worth so much more than what you pay for! He puts on an amazing show!!!!! The staff were so down to earth and very helpful! This place deserves ALL 5 STARS!!!!Kid-friendliness: So active and playful with the kids! They had the best time and actually loved the food!!“
“We had a great server who was very kind and attentive. However the owner had refused to make an adjustment to a dish that my wife had ordered other times before here.My wife settled to have it made the way they wanted to make it. However it still contained onions that she had asked to be left out.“
“Came to Thai Tara with my mom on a Friday night. It wasn't too busy and we didn't need reservations. The restaurant is super clean with a chic vibe about it. The decorations were nice and the ambiance was lovely. You could see the sushi chefs preparing the sushi at the sushi bar with a variety of very fresh fishes displayed. The service was decent, could have been slightly more attentive, but was friendly. We started with the VIP salad and seaweed salad. The VIP salad was one of their specialties of the day. This was a really tasty salad, with great combinations of flavors. It included squid, seaweed, tomato, tempura flakes, and cucumber, with a flavorful dressing. The seaweed salad was also good and satisfying. For our rolls we ordered the Pink Lady Roll, KingsMill Roll, the Amazing Roll, and the Thai Tara Roll. The pink lady roll had a soy wrap, instead of seaweed, with Spicy tuna, yellowtail, avocado & tempura flakes wrapped with soy paper, dotted with Spicy Mayo and Red tobiko. This roll was different due to the soy paper. The flavors of this roll were more subtle, but the fish and avocado were very tasty. Next we tried the kingsmill roll, which was the freshest of all the rolls. It included Salmon, Tuna & Cucumber inside with Yellowtail, Masago, Radish Sprout and Homemade Sauce on top. The fish was luscious and the roll had copious amounts of it! The flavor was immense and the fish was outstanding. This roll was really satisfying and a must try. Next was the amazing roll which had Shrimp Tempura, Spicy Kani, Cucumber, topped with Spicy tunaTempura flakes,Cilantro,Masago,Spicy Mayo&Eel sauce. This was a slightly heavier roll due to the tempura, but tasty nonetheless. The cilantro really added a nice touch of flavor and worked perfectly with the tuna and shrimp temperas. Lastly, we tried the thai Tara roll with Shrimp tempura, spicy kani, cucumber & avocado topped with seared marinated filet mignon, with sweet chili & eel sauce drizzle,s scallion, masago & sesame seeds. Holy smokes! This was a super unique roll, never had a sushi roll with seared filet mignon!! The seared steak added a really nice complexity, complimenting the various components of the roll very well. We were both quite impressed with how much the steak amplified the roll. Highly recommend trying this one! Overall, we had a lovely sushi dinner at Thai Tara! The restaurant is very clean and the ambiance is welcoming. It has a chicness to it with nice decor. The service was decent and the servers were kind. Both our salads were great starters and the portions were perfect. All the of the rolls we ordered satisfied us. The rolls had ample amounts of fish and were filling. Each one was different from the next, with their own, unique flavor profiles. The kingsmill roll was my favorite roll. The fish was of very high quality and so fresh. But the Thai Tara roll cannot be missed either! This is a really nice spot to enjoy a sushi dinner at, and I would return if in the area again.“
