“Kingship coffee is so good I decided to serve it exclusively at my Bistro & Bakery. Viktor is expertly knowledgeable in the many facets of roasting and brewing, it is mind boggling. The customer service is a standard bearer for other local businesses.“

“This place is everything you could ask for in a hotdog place. My only complaint is that we aren't local!!! we may or may not choose our next vacation location close by just to be able to come here again.“

“A must stop, this is the best custard I have ever had. They are reasonably priced and they have inside seats and outside seats.
Handicap accessible and plenty of parking. They have great hours for vacationers.
Staff are kind.
Today they had four flavors to choose from vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream and sea salt Carmel. This was the best sea salt Carmel I have ever had. The flavors change daily. We have to visit again.“

“We brought my mother in law here for her first time and let me just say—it was love at first bite. The char-grilled oysters? Life changing. She was mid-sentence and just stopped to close her eyes and savor (I kid you NOT!) that’s when I knew we made the right decision in bringing her to one of our favorite spots. I’ve been coming here with my husband for a while now, and they never miss. We split the grilled fish (always fresh, always flavorful), and we request the chili oil on the side because a little goes a long way. Pro tip: their house hot sauce? We buy it every time we’re there. We also ordered the ceviche (refreshing, balanced, and beautifully plated, and their margarita is one of the few in town that actually tastes crafted—not syrupy. The War & Pisco cocktail was a surprise favorite for my MIL; light, sparkling, with a perfect hint of raspberry and basil. The vibe is cozy but lively, perfect for a date night or introducing someone to your go-to local gem. Every time we visit, the food is consistent, the service is kind but never pushy, and we leave talking about what we’ll order next time.“

“What a wonderful evening we had! We sat at the bar and were offered cocktail suggestions and pairings. The food was absolutely wonderful. The bartenders were very friendly and accommodating. The chef/owner came to see us after dinner too! We will remember this as one of our the best nights out!“
“We come here often from #RVA to their fun events! The drinks are wonderful, and the staff is so friendly! Their Luaus are a great way to transport yourself to Hawaii here in Virginia!“

“We always eat here any time that we are in Williamsburg. I almost always have the same thing because it is just so damn good; hot pastrami sub and an order of fries. The sub bun is perfect and the pastrami serving is very generous and very flavorful and very filling too. The fries serving fills the plate and cooked just right. On our way back home, we stop by again and take a sub with us to enjoy that evening. This Deli has our strongest recommendation.“

“Great reasonably priced beers and vibe. I came during the opening of the World Cup and they had it projected on a screen with live music outside and a food truck. The staff are chill and gave some good beer recommendations. Great place to come during the World Cup!“

First walk of the season, we stopped in for lunch and were totally unaware of the live music!!! What a great addition to this already amazing little place! Thanks for a great day!“

“On behalf of Michael Harvey and myself we had a fantastic show at Frothy Moon! Unfortunately, the AI photo was a photo my friend generated! It actually was really cool ! We used that photo to help advertise our ourselves. They were kind enough to share our photo. This pic had nothing to do with the brewing company. There was no logo of their company nor was there any information on that picture about details on their product or services. The fact that somebody would go to great links to try to give a “one” star review over a picture is just absolutely ridiculous. Not only that but two actually say they had a bad product just made it even Look a lot worse. I’m sure every person that had a brew or a few last night wasn’t complaining and they stuck around and had a great time! The staff is incredible. The place is amazing and the beer I’m sure is great (I don’t drink). Also, their coffee bar is stupendous! Great place all around! Don’t let a bad rearview fool you come out there and have a great time. Bring your family and friends!“

“We had a wonderful dining experience from the welcoming greeters at the door to our wonderful server. The food was amazing from pea soup to steak to dessert, and the punch bowl! The Pringle’s ginger beer drink was very good, too. My daughter loved the oysters. It was a wholesome experience with live music and authenticity in the details (even the silverware is made in Williamsburg). It was also a treat to eat somewhere where historical figures dined in colonial times, but also really an art form to serve a menu inspired by recipes from the 1700s (and everything tasted amazing and fresh). The service was pretty impeccable for the whole staff (lots of servers, greeters, and staff).“

“Up until this morning, my family never had a negative experience at the Williamsburg First Watch. The food was always good. and the customer service top-notch. That changed today. It started with the waitress...she didn't offer any sort of greeting and, when my mother asked for a plate of bacon to share after I had ordered the "Trifecta" breakfast (with bacon, eggs over easy, and a multi grain pancake), the waitress asked me if I still wanted what I ordered and, when we sought suggestions, she stood silent. She gave us coffee when we asked, but poured hardly any in the cups and left us barely half a carafe. My eggs came over hard instead of over easy (as did my mother's, even though she asked for over easy too. The bottom of my pancake was burnt. (I took pictures of all of this in hopes that I could speak with the manager). I also ordered orange juice, which was never brought to the table. Our waitress then disappeared, so I had to flag down another waitress to get more coffee. creamers. and a few napkins. She at least was gracious enough to offer to do so. When I finally saw our waitress at the counter, I raised my hand to get her attention, and she gave me the "wait a minute" gesture. It took her five minutes to get to us. When she did come over, I asked her for what we needed, and she didn't seem overly thrilled about getting what we asked for. When she dropped the check, I told her she never brought my juice, and wanted her to remove that from the bill, which she did (with a half-hearted apology for that at least, after asking me if I still wanted it, which would have been pointless after the meal). Forty dollars for a meal experience worth less than half that. All-in-all, compared to past experiences, I can totally see why so many negative reviews have been posted lately.“

“When I originally put this review on FB, I chose "does not recommend". I was reading the response from the pub and noticed that it has been changed to recommends. I do not recommend. This is my original post: We ate here today and the food was very subpar and the prices were fine dining prices. We paid $18 each for a wedge salad that consisted of a half a head of iceberg three sliced cherry tomatoes and a drizzle of ranch dressing. It had about a half a tablespoon of bacon on it and a quarter tablespoon of blue cheese crumbles. Was very basic and for $18 I would expect a little more thought put into the construction and presentation of the salad. I ordered the fish sandwich and the batter coating was not cooked at all. I had to scrape it off in order to eat the fish. when I pointed this out to my waiter, his response was well is the sandwich at least a little warm. My friends burger was overcooked and both of our buns were stale they were not toasted but they were stale. She ordered brussel sprouts on the side and they were really mushy and did not have a lot of flavor and our dessert was very sloppily presented. I paid $150 for two sandwiches two salads and two desserts and it was all very subpar. I will not be eating here again. I will take my $150 and go someplace decent like Food for Thought or Le Yaka.“
“I love the Williamsburg Chocolatier! I buy these chocolates and candies for my renters as a thank you gift. They go crazy over them, the fudge is to die for! I have purchased about everything from this store and keep coming back for 2nds! So glad I found the Williamsburg Chocolatier at both Williamsburg Bazaar stores in the Williamsburg Premium Outlet Mall. What a delicious treat for me and my guests!“

“I would say the Blue Talon is a 4.5 star restaurant but I’m rounding up since Google doesn’t allow half stars. The food is very good for a small town location. We tried a few classic French dishes including beef bourguignon and duck cassoulet. The dishes were extremely flavorful and everything was fresh. The sauces were exceptional. The bread was also excellent and worth the extra charge. Everything was prepared with careful thought and skill. My only complaint is the meat wasn’t as tender as it could have been because it was browned too long. We ordered the mousse at the end and it was fun to see the chef dishing it out like he was sharing it with his own family. The restaurant itself has a very beautiful atmosphere and the service is what you would expect for an upscale establishment. It feels like there is a lot of history at this restaurant and they continue to live up to it today. If you are in Williamsburg it is well worth visiting the Blue Talon.“

Drinks took 10 minutes then we ordered and our meals were done in 10. The service was incredible and food was perfect. would definitely recommend it“
