“We brought my mother in law here for her first time and let me just say—it was love at first bite. The char-grilled oysters? Life changing. She was mid-sentence and just stopped to close her eyes and savor (I kid you NOT!) that’s when I knew we made the right decision in bringing her to one of our favorite spots. I’ve been coming here with my husband for a while now, and they never miss. We split the grilled fish (always fresh, always flavorful), and we request the chili oil on the side because a little goes a long way. Pro tip: their house hot sauce? We buy it every time we’re there. We also ordered the ceviche (refreshing, balanced, and beautifully plated, and their margarita is one of the few in town that actually tastes crafted—not syrupy. The War & Pisco cocktail was a surprise favorite for my MIL; light, sparkling, with a perfect hint of raspberry and basil. The vibe is cozy but lively, perfect for a date night or introducing someone to your go-to local gem. Every time we visit, the food is consistent, the service is kind but never pushy, and we leave talking about what we’ll order next time.“

“We enjoyed our dinner and our server, Jared, was attentive. The choice of a 70's radio station was a bit odd and even though I like the music, it would have been a more pleasant dining experience if the volume was a little lower.“

“On Sept 9 2022 my friends visited Carrabba in Williamsburg during our excusion. The server, Laura, was more of a treat than what we could have imagined. She was friendly, acompandating to us, the seasoned ladies. She knew what to say and how to interpret facial expressions. She didn't get upset when a dish had to be sent back. The manager was gracious also. But Laura, is the consummate server and needs to train others on how to be kind to others whether you want to or not. Give her a Raise!!! We will be back.“

“Another great night at the Aberdeen Barn. Drinks and appetizers at the bar. Enjoyed an awesome conversation with a couple from Bethesda. The bartender, Ron, did a great job making all of us feel welcome.“

“Keland Louisiana Seafood Grab and Go is an absolute gem in Williamsburg, VA. The fish, shrimp, green beans, and fries were all fried to perfection—crispy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. The owner was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to accommodate my shellfish allergy by cooking my fish separately from the rest of the seafood. That level of attention and consideration made the experience even better.
It’s not just great food—it’s a place where you can tell the owner genuinely cares about his customers. If you’re ever in Williamsburg and craving fresh, perfectly cooked seafood, I highly recommend giving keland’s a try.“

“We had a wonderful dining experience from the welcoming greeters at the door to our wonderful server. The food was amazing from pea soup to steak to dessert, and the punch bowl! The Pringle’s ginger beer drink was very good, too. My daughter loved the oysters. It was a wholesome experience with live music and authenticity in the details (even the silverware is made in Williamsburg). It was also a treat to eat somewhere where historical figures dined in colonial times, but also really an art form to serve a menu inspired by recipes from the 1700s (and everything tasted amazing and fresh). The service was pretty impeccable for the whole staff (lots of servers, greeters, and staff).“

“Family run gem! My go to lunch spot! Best happy hr(5-8) in town!“
“Carino's Seafood is the kind of place you drive by easily, but once it catches your attention, you go in and keep coming. A Williamsburg staple, it is a locally owned gem of a seafood shop, serving fresh catches at amazing prices. This is our family's first stop for picking up seafood to cook at home.“

“Nice local Thai restaurant - food's really good. Kind of Thai comfort food - the crunchy spring rolls were served hot and fresh, the Thai iced tea was cool and refreshing, if missing a bit of the flavor I'm familiar with. My tom yum kai was deeply flavorful, again excruciatingly fresh and just a bit spicy. My dining companion loved the crab wontons and her entree of veggie stir fry. Service is impeccable, friendly and welcoming, and they *don't* hover! Dishes were perfectly timed and we never felt rushed or smothered. The restaurant itself is spotless and charmingly decorated. A good, solid choice for a meal out.“

“There were four of us that went out to eat we started with appetizers the couple we went with, had the peppered sea scallops, and the New Orleans style barbecue shrimp each couple shared the appetizers, which were delicious for the main course. I had the 12 ounce fillet mignon, which is called the Oscar nine, which had a marinated portobello mushroom cap under the fillet and on top was jumbo lump crab meatwith asparagus and sauce, my wife had the pan roasted chilean Seabass with rice a side of asparagus with hollandaise sauce and sweet potato we also split the twin South African rock lobster tails to make it a surf and turf special. Our friends had the fillet 8 ounce with lobster tail, baked potato and our other friend had the cowboy cut ribeye steak bone in Oscar style with a side of asparagus with hollandaise sauce and scallop potatoes are served. Jake was fantastic. He was there if we needed anything. They also brought bread and rolls to our table along with honey infused butter to start the meal, and I had a dirty martini with three olives, and ended the meal with black French pressed coffee and a snifter of white Sambuca with three coffee beans. They also split an order of crème brûlée for dessert. The meal and dessert and appetizers were all fantastic. Highly recommend will definitely come back. It was worth the price.“
“This New Year's Eve, I celebrated by 70th Birthday! We reserved a waterfront condo. Everyone was blow away by the facilities and the location! We had guests to come, as far away as ATL! The party was a blast! It's 4 days later and people are still calling to say Kingsmill did not disappoint and to let me know, my seafood Gumbo was the best they ever had!“

“The food was delicious. We sat too close to a couple when there were lots of empty tables. It took too long to get a bottle of wine when our appetizers were brought to us. Service could have been better. But this is a special place snd we will be back“
