“ABSOLUTELY SOUTHERN SEAFOOD PERFECTION!Everything on their menu is a real seafood creation. Not to mention their non-seafood choices being tasty & imaginative. (I had the shown fried green tomato stack before moving to seafood)My waitress Caroline was so attentive and professional! They have live music, heaters for outdoor bar dining, more quiet indoor dining, inexpensive happy hours, and parking all around. Right in the middle of Colonial Williamsburg and College of William & Mary, for sightseeing and shopping galore.I hadn't been here in over a dozen years, and Berret's is as great as ever! I will be back.“
“The best Italian restaurant I've been to in a long time! My dinner at Mauricio's was a pleasant surprise. We were passing through to go to Busch Gardens and decided to eat before going to the park. It was the best decision! First , there's amazing picture opportunities in front of the restaurant, it feels like you are in Italy! I love the Italian car! Dining room is clean and comfortable. I ordered garlic knots which were toasty and amazing . Caprese salad which was fresh and delicious! I also had their spaghetti and pizza. Everything was so yummy! The bakery was out of this world, from lemon cake to cannoli to Italian cookies, wow! Servers were nice and spoke some Italian! It made for an overall outstanding time! I want to go back soon!“
“Hubby and I had the fried green tomato appetizer (2 pieces with scallops and 2 with shrimp) with a pound of shrimp and an oyster po-boy, which came with fries and cole slaw. Also enjoyed their key lime pie. All items were made fresh in house, including the roumelade and cocktail sauce. Polite, attentive service. The scallops (which were cooked perfectly!) and coleslaw were my favorites?“
“Such a fantastic gem in the Burg that many continue to find. They celebrated 5 years this year.Chef Mike came from the West coast with a lot of industry knowledge and expertise of handling seafood. He had an immediate hit on his hands converting a gas station to Casa Pearl. He later enhanced the modest outdoor seating.I've been twice and both times their signature tacos were a slam dunk. But don't dare miss out on their oysters. They are also known for delicious craft cocktails that can be sipped at their small bar.My most recent visit I sat in the dining room on a Saturday evening solo. My waitress was immediately attentive after my hostess sat me. I ordered a water with my drive back home. I started off with a half dozen salty kiss oysters. Then a variety of three taco later. The oysters were fresh and came with the accompanying items to add. Super yum! My tacos followed and the fish at market was my favorite. I finished the meal off with a cheesecake that was the bomb! It's worth the drive from the beach, it's that good!Parking: Go early“
“Coming from North Carolina, this hole-in-the-wall restaurant exceeded our expectations. Not only was the service phenomenal, but the quality of the food was as authentic to Mexico as one could imagine. From the first bite, I was encapsulated by the flavor and aroma of the food. If you are ever in the Williamsburg area, this is a must-go place. I will definitely be returning whenever I'm in the area.“
“Very good but a bit overpriced. Paying for the experience I know, tho I was seated in a tiny room with a family of four which was slightly uncomfortable as I wax dining solo (and there was at least one small unoccupied table in the larger adjacent room).wonderful musician playing the guitar and recorder and interacting.“
“Great experience picking up delicious food from a great business! Love the family run vibe and welcoming atmosphere. The food is generously portioned and delicious. Quality and preparation is fantastic. We look forward to coming back and enjoying more of the menu.“
“Came here after an unpleasant experience next door at Olive Garden. Restaurant closes at 10pm. We had a party of 8 and walked in around 8:25pm. We had left Olive Garden due to them making us feel unwelcome for coming in so late with a large party. Our server Juliette at Carrabbas was amazing. She was very sweet and attentive to us, even being close to closing time. The manager Rachel was awesome as well! We thanked her and her staff for a great dining experience. Thank you Carrabba's! Eat here instead of the Olive Garden better staff, better atmosphere.“
“MY FAMILY ENJOYED THE SAMPLER FOR OUR APPETIZER IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! THE SEAFOOD POT PIE WAS EXTRAORDINARY ??? OUR KIDS ENJOYED THEIR BURGERS. I ALSO ENJOYED MY CAESAR SALAD W/ GRILLED AND BLACKENED SHRIMP ???.OUR WAITRESS WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING WITH HELPING US TO DECIDE WHAT THE BEST ITEMS WERE TO SELECT. WE DEFINITELY LOOK FWD TO OUR NEXT VISIT❤️“
“We recently visited here for our friend's birthday. The atmosphere was very nice, upscale with a decent volume level so your table can enjoy conversation.First off... our waitress was amazing! Super cute and her high-pitched voice was very fun and inviting. She helped my wife find a wine that she liked, which ended up being our waitress's suggestion. Only took 3 tries ?. Our other drinks were great. We started with a shrimp cocktail and the ahi tuna. Both were delicious, although we agreed the cocktail sauce could use more horseradish. The birthday boy actually liked the tuna which was a huge surprise! For our entrees, three of us got the porterhouse steak and my wife got the stuffed shrimp. Two of the steaks arrived a bit overcooked, which we promptly replaced with new ones cooked to perfection. They shine a flashlight to ensure it's cooked properly, and the manager made sure things were right for our table. Again our waitress was amazing during the serving, and I wish I could remember her name. The birthday boy got a free dessert and we took a key lime pie home to enjoy later. All in all, it was a very enjoyable evening. We will definitely return for special occasions in the future!“
“This place was such an amazing surprise! We stumbled upon this little gem on day 1 of our trip and were blown away at the quality, taste and PRICE of the food!! We came back 2 more times before heading home from our trip. This place is SO GOOD and the service is fantastic!!“
“I'm from Maryland and been wanting crabs for about 5 years now...been looking all week while on vacation with my family. Finally found them here and ordered 2 dozen with 2lb of steamed shrimp. The crabs were awesome! Seasoned well with old bay and meaty considering it is early in the season. If you want crabs in williamsburg this is for sure the place to go! My hidden gem. Thank you!!! You made my vacation“
“Booked a reservation for my wife and I for our 5th anniversary. They didn't have our table ready for 30 minutes after our reservation time, which was frustratingly annoying. Once we finally did get seated, the meal was good, and the service matched.“
“My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Waypoint Seafood & Grill during our anniversary weekend in Williamsburg, and it turned out to be one of the many highlights of our trip. From the moment we walked in, we were promptly seated in a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant offered a quiet and intimate setting that was just what we were hoping for.Our server, Don, truly elevated our dining experience. His attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and genuine kindness made us feel welcomed and cared for throughout the evening. Don's recommendations and insights were appreciated and contributed significantly to the overall enjoyment of our anniversary celebration.Every dish was spectacular, but a few stood out as true gems. The Cioppino was one of my personal favorites. The seafood was perfectly cooked and the broth rich. The Calamari was a delightful surprise, crispy and tender, paired with a zesty dipping sauce that added the perfect kick. And then there was the Bread Pudding Ice Cream, a heavenly conclusion to our meal. For anyone stopping by Williamsburg, Waypoint Seafood & Grill is an absolute must-go. Thank you to the entire team at Waypoint for making our anniversary celebration truly memorable!“
“Rocco's didn't disappoint!! From the bourbon bbq sauce that was yummy enough to put on everything. The ribs I could eat every day. I suggest getting the combos so you can try all the meats before you just order one. To the desserts that taste homemade, the drinks were great!! The steak was tender and flavorful. Again, Roccos was great, and we can't wait to come back! Thank you to all the staff who were warm and welcoming. If you looking for bbq in Virginia go see Rocco...“
“A MUST TRY!!! The food was packaged nicely (no spillage) and tasted even better once we got to our hotel to eat it! DELICIOUS ? They even have great portion sizes for sharing as well, so expect to have leftovers for lunch or dinner. Also, the ambiance was so inviting, and we loved seeing the cultural arts displayed! ? We will definitely be back when visiting again!“
“Great little place and I would say very unappreciated. They have a large menu with many traditional items as well as familiar stand-bys. The food was great - flavorful and presented well. The service was excellent and, on a very busy night in town, they had seating to spare. Would recommend you give it a try, wholeheartedly, especially when more "popular" places are crowded or have wait-lists for seating.Parking: There were about 20 parking spaces from what I could see, surrounding the restaurant in a lot off the road.Kid-friendliness: This is more about atmosphere although I can't confirm kids' menu items, since my daughter eats adult food now.“
“Service was amazing, the manager Ben was extremely helpful. He always has a positive attitude and makes sure the customers are satisfied. He is very humble and says his staff make it all come together giving them credit for the great reviews and service. Ben is an asset to this store. We will be coming back.“
“Been searching near and far for fried pickle spears and this place did not disappoint they were phenomenal. The sandwiches were great too i got a BLT the wife got the turkey breast sub and my 2 yr old got a grilled cheese it was all delicious.“
“4.5... inside temperature was chilly. You should not have to wear a coat for dinner. Except for that it would be a 5. Excellent food and service. Prices were surprisingly low. Seafood fixed the way it should be. Trust Eddie when he recommends something, he was excellent.“
“I've enjoyed this restaurant both times that I've visited. Volunteered to take the kids along this time before I was aware the 13 yo was too old for kids price. We did take a 1 yo as well and her meal cost less than advertised kids meals.“
“I had pork fontina and wife had grilled shrimp and chicken. Both delicious. Wife loved the dipping sauces. Bread with olive oil and garlic dipping outstanding. I could have had just the bread alone. Waiter and other servers very attentive and friendly. Feels upscale. Used to feel they were a little pricey but since pandemic and a lot of restaurants have increased their prices, cost not a bad. I don't believe they went up much on prices. With 20% tip paid about $67.“
“An excellent choice for seafood and steaks. Our experience was excellent. Seafood was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Steaks were done perfectly and we're enjoyed by our guests. We are locals and have been coming to The Seafare for years. It's been around for a long time so they must be doing something right.“
“Oh my God, this place was a great place to eat at, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was greatParking: They have their own parking lot, but because it stay so crowded it was a little difficultKid-friendliness: It was kid friendly and they catered to my granddaughter“
