“I have to start by saying that this food is fantastic. Probably the best greens I've ever had, excellent fish, just all around delicious. I was very impressed by the quality of the food, as well as the pretty good price. The staff was also extremely friendly, helpful, courteous, really all around an excellent experience.

The only, and I mean only detraction from my visit was the "no weapons" sign posted on the door. I have no desire to make this into a political statement, but a sign prohibiting lawful self-defense will only affect the those people who are willing to abide by it. A criminal will ignore such a sign, and the people inside will be left defenseless. Unfortunately, no matter how good the food is, I cannot compromise my safety and I will not be able to return until I am allowed to protect myself.“

“Had the pleasure of having a family brunch h this past weekend. They staff was great especially with the size of guest that attended. Food was great and worth the price as well as being kid friendly. 5 star all the way. Definitely would return.“

“We ate here for the first time today. I do not like seafood, but decided to take a chance. OMG... the catfish bites were DELICIOUS!!! Hubby had the seafood platter and said it was fantastic This is a family business and we were able to meet everyone, even the new Grandson. This a warm, relaxing out of the way place, and we will definitely be returning! The waitress/bartender, Kathleen, never stops. if you need or want something, she's on it in a blink of an eye! We had a great time and an awesome meal!!!“

“Wow! I actually hate seafood so when my Dad surprised me with a pair of fried crabs, I was scared! However, I was blown away with how good that pair of crabs was. The batter was absolutely delicious - so flavorful without tasting too salty. Funnily enough, I originally asked for hot sauce but the lady at the counter said I did not need it and refused to give me any.... she was 100% correct. The crabmeat itself paired well with the batter. I have never had whole crab before so I don't know how this compares to other places but, to me at least, these crabs were meaty and tasted fresh. The only downside is that this place is quite literally a hole-in-the-wall kind of place so it does not look very appealing on the outside or inside. However, this is definitely not a reflection of the food (or the crabs at least, I don't know about everything else).

Overall, I guess I like crabs now?? I would definitely come back here when I am in town.“

“Food was excellent! Fresh, well seasoned and our server knew the menu items. Clean and nice location with its own small parking lot. I only wish they had filtered water. A 32 ounce bottle was $6.00 and enough for 2. I dined with 456 Fish on my birthday 10 years ago and I will make a plan for my December birthday because they do not disappoint.

Parking: Small free parking lot, but we arrived at a good time to get spaces.“

I had the salmon, which is not always the best idea at a bbq joint but it was outSTANDing! the fired green tomatoes were yummy too. with a cool, modern building in the heart of Ghent and super friendly staff, this place is going to become a new hangout. we were there for lunch so we haven't tried the bar scene but that's next on the list. if I could give it an 11 out of 10, I would!“

“Very cool place for dinner or drinks at their inside Tiki bar. First time here, and I will definitely be back when I visit the area. I had the 'Crab Mac n Cheese' appetizer for my meal, and ordered some of the Hula flavored wings. Both were outstanding. The crab Mac n cheese was creamy, with great crab flavor and all the cheesy goodness and was a huge portion. I dug in before I had a chance to take a pic! Definitely enough for a meal. The wings were cooked just right, crisp on the edges, and I really loved the ginger teriyaki, like glaze over them.
The atmosphere was upbeat, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and the servers were great. Friendly and attentive, ensuring you had what you needed and mixing some great drinks.“

“They use to have the best fried crab batter. Not anymore.The batter is thin and crunchy and taste bad.I seen the lady pour some white stuff into the grease out of a large box. I've been going here for years. Never again.“

“Being that we visit on a Monday evening, there were not many customers which was nice. It was not a loud and busy environment. The food was delicious. Cleared the sinuses for sure. We will be returning.

Parking: Parking on the street was free after 6PM. The meters take various types of payments.“

“The setting is gorgeous, but the interior could use a designer for a more coastal environment. The crab cakes are the best in the area, but they need better healthy sides. I also had the best soft shell crab in the area there a few months ago. Hire a chef versus a cook. More healthy versions of seafood are needed versus mostly fried and salted. As an excellent cook, I could turn this place into a hot neighborhood spot that people could walk to/from. Many times the price does not meet the quality of food unless I order the crab cakes. I have seen waiters bring out broccoli with worms moving around and florets that have overstayed their time in the kitchen.“
