“Best crab cakes I’ve had in all of Norfolk. Every time I have eaten here my dish has been amazing. I know their menu changes depending on their specials but the seafood gumbo was delicious and their rockfish special was some of the best white fish I’ve ever had at a restaurant. And every time we go we get the oysters as a starter and they never disappoint. The seafood they serve is high quality, service and atmosphere are great. This place is a hidden gem in Ocean View.“
“I love love love coach house! This is me and my husbands favorite spot for dinner. We love grabbing a seat at the bar for something a little more casual or a table for a little bit more romantic. The service there is always top notch, no matter who you get. The espresso martinis are the best in town! The wine list is great, and there’s always a good beer on tap. The charcuterie boards are incredible and you get so much for the price! Everything we’ve eaten here has been fantastic, from a simple burger to the short rib ravioli. I couldn’t recommend coach house enough“

Located the perfect distance from Nauticus and parking garages for a post museum stroll or a test run on the escooters.Dietary restrictions: Menu is Very streamlined with a burger and fries focus.Parking: There are a number of parking garages in the area to facilitate the various attractions in the area. We pd $9 for the whole afternoon in April '24.Kid-friendliness: This probably depends on the time, and the kids. There was a small family (8 yo's ish) as we were leaving who'd just come in. But the atmosphere is very definitely young adult. Idk how well younger kids would do with the loud music, this is basically a bar with great burgers after all.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is very narrow, and it might be uncomfortable to get all the way back to the restrooms when it's busy. The entrance is flat though, and there are plenty of low tables that are accommodating.“
“I ordered the pickle fries, and they were super greasy, but delicious! This spot is so odd- no windows, but TV's for days. What do you wanna watch? They'll have it! They have direct tv, and they stream all the sports channels, although I will say if you're looking for ESPN+ or anything streamed, they can only do direct tv on the smaller TV's grouped together. Only the large single TV's have the streaming, like ESPN+. Our server, Joy, was a pure delight. She was very busy, but still attentive. We will definitely be back on Sundays.“

“I was recently invited to go to Sanctuary Norfolk. It was my first time visiting this Sports Pub and Taco Joint. I was pleasantly surprised.. This place has a very friendly Atmosphere, both the Local clientele and Staff.. Rob our bartender took time to demonstrated the bottoms up beer dispensing system, which as the name implies, fills your draft beer glass from the bottom up, resulting in a perfect pour. I was most impressed, as I had never seen one of these before. Rob took our order, I ordered BBQ Chicken Taco’s, they were most delicious.. I highly recommend them. To our surprise they had two Foozball tables. I haven’t seen a decent Foozball table in an establishment in years.. Our party played several games of Foozball, we ate delicious Taco’s and had a couple perfect pour draft beers.. We had a great time... The place had a nice clientele, but wasn’t so busy that Rob wasn’t able to play us a game or two of Foozball in between taking care of his customer. I enjoyed playing Fooz, with Rob, although I was no real competition for Him, as he easily beat me. But, I didn’t do to bad, I think he was sandbagging some or else I think I might have lost worse than I did. Overall, I really liked this place, the Staff and the food were great, I will be going back... I understand they have Taco Tuesday Foozball Tournaments, for anyone looking for a place to play.. “I'm visiting my dad from the west coast and we met some of his coworkers for a late lunch. Our service was attentive, the food was great! I had the rockfish special. My husband and I have struggled finding a family friendly place to eat that's not a franchise and the same old crap. This place cooks with love. “I got the Turkish Latte and it was really really good! I find a lot of coffee shops today use certain flavors that have a very chemical taste. So I'm hesitant usually to ask for a shot of Caramel or anything. I went with my gut and this place had very good flavors. The latte itself was wonderful! I also got an everything bagel with Salmon. The salmon was a very healthy portion and tasted wonderful.I plan on returning here before my work trip is over here and hope to return next time I'm in town!“
