I was seated immediately. The service and fiod was exceptional. I ordered a beef taco salad and a veggie burrito. Freshly made and hot.
So you don't get chips n salsa unless they ask you first. It's still complementary. Had a torta for the first time. It was pretty good. My dad had ordered a meal and ceviche. The food was good. No white sauce for chips. This is authentic as it's gotten in Norfolk to me. They don't even speak english. Go figure. Food was good.

Mi Tierra Mayas serves excellent food in a beautiful and super clean environment. The restaurant offers generous portions at a great value, with plenty of parking space available. While some diners have experienced miscommunications with servers, the overall experience is satisfying, with most meals pleasing the palate. Be prepared for large servings, and don't hesitate to try their options, except perhaps the burrito.
