“Husband took the family out to dinner and it was amazing. Best restaurant we've eaten at in Norfolk. My 3 year old ate the spinach that's how good this place is. The drinks were excellent, the food was extremely well done and full of flavor. No wonder it is regularly booked up.“

“This is by far the best restuarant in Norfolk. Chef Ticha is a magician with food. The prawns were the best I have ever had in the USA. All the Food prepared and presented beautifully. “So only 21 beers to choose from but 5 aren’t working so like 16 beers on tap at a taphouse style place. But they they did have a few beers we hadn’t tryed so there’s that . Food was really good recommend the cowboy burger or loaded fries , staff was friendly and very professional“

“They go above and beyond: I joined my book club ladies for dinner last night at Press 626. I have some mobility issues and was advised to take the back steps upon arriving. I was well assisted up the stairs and taken to our table. The servers could not have been more pleasant. When it was time to leave one of the female employees assisted me down the front steps and to my waiting car. They made me feel very comfortable and welcoming. Thank you so much.“

“I’ve eaten here now 5 times. Gone for an evening date, family gathering of 8, and a regular dinner for 4 out and about in town. They can accommodate anything. The food is excellent, creative and unique. Staff is nice and helpful, and hardworking. This is a staple for me. Parking on the street hasn’t been a problem but also garages are available or uber if you are enjoying the neat drink menu.“

“Another excellent meal at Omar's Carriage House. The pork belly fried rice had just enough heat to it but not so much as to overwhelm the flavor.“

“We came here as a group of 6 on a Tuesday evening, and we were seated at their smallest table. When we asked to be moved to a larger (there were 3 open larger tables) we were told that the "wait" was too long. All 3 tables sat empty the entire time we ate. 3 of the 6 people in our party ordered the blackened sword fish at $34/plate. The orders came as grilled and they were severely over cooked. When we mentioned that the orders were wrong, we were told that they could take that fish back add blackened seasoning and re cook the same (already overcooked) fish. We asked to speak to the manager, whose immediate solution was to take off the automatic gratuity and just not tip our server. We never got an apology for the food being wrong, and the manager was completely rude the entire time. The manager's final solution was to take $4 off of a $80 bill. We will not be back.“

But I most definitely wanted to shout out The lovely Caring Karen. As always I highly recommend Belaire Pancake House.“

“Stopped in because I was in the neighborhood and heard good things. Nice place, decent service; just seemed like the locals were there and that was the focus. “Ordered a 16 piece (just chicken) in advance and the food was ready for pickup at the requested time and hot. The chicken was tender and tasty, not over breaded or soggy. They are a well-known restaurant in the Hampton Roads area and awarded the best chicken in the area, which shows in the quality they provide. A little bit higher than the local grocery store, but worth the cost.“

“I was having a good time until my check came and I was charged a extra drink . the server Amber was very rude , said she was the manager and instead of correcting her mistake and thinking on it , she was rude and dismissive. I had a $20 tip for her. but I wrote on my receipt that extra drink is your tip. Very bad server experience. some people just aren't worth the argument .“

“This is in the Sheraton hotel and the atmosphere was lovely with a harbor view. The menu is basic but with solid choices and the food was exactly as anticipated. The waitstaff was very pleasant but not very attentive. They were very slow to acknowledge and seat you. We had time to kill so not a big deal but if I had time constraints I probably would have been annoyed.“

“Incredibly loud and difficult to hear others. The food was pretty decent, but some things weren't really my favorite. They way overcooked my crab cake (check my picture - yes that is a crab cake), the tea was wildly sweet, and my mashed potatoes were oddly sweet as well. Mac and cheese and steak were killer though! Our waitress was super friendly and really helpful, but the noise and inconsistent food quality left me a bit unsatisfied.“
