“I forgot to take pictures because after my first bite I couldn’t do my thing but eat. Chef Zach’s food is amazing and thoughtful. Watching his team working the kitchen was a special treat. Service was fantastic and Sasha at the bar made fantastic cocktails. I had the Endive Salad that was so good I could become a vegetarian. I then had the Crispy Duck Rillette- this was great. The sauce was amazing but use it sparingly or you will lose the duck. Lastly I had the Pappardelle- this was fantastic and I don’t really care for olives, but the restraint of this ingredient was perfect and added a wonderful depth to the already amazing ragu. Pasta was perfect! I highly recommend this place. I travelled from Kansas City here and this was top of my list to experience.“

“They go above and beyond: I joined my book club ladies for dinner last night at Press 626. I have some mobility issues and was advised to take the back steps upon arriving. I was well assisted up the stairs and taken to our table. The servers could not have been more pleasant. When it was time to leave one of the female employees assisted me down the front steps and to my waiting car. They made me feel very comfortable and welcoming. Thank you so much.“

“This is by far the best restuarant in Norfolk. Chef Ticha is a magician with food. The prawns were the best I have ever had in the USA. All the Food prepared and presented beautifully. I come here without exception when I’m in Norfolk. The bartenders are fabulous as well and create some fabulous cocktails.“

“I’ve eaten here now 5 times. Gone for an evening date, family gathering of 8, and a regular dinner for 4 out and about in town. They can accommodate anything. The food is excellent, creative and unique. Staff is nice and helpful, and hardworking. This is a staple for me. Parking on the street hasn’t been a problem but also garages are available or uber if you are enjoying the neat drink menu.“

“We came here as a group of 6 on a Tuesday evening, and we were seated at their smallest table. When we asked to be moved to a larger (there were 3 open larger tables) we were told that the "wait" was too long. All 3 tables sat empty the entire time we ate. 3 of the 6 people in our party ordered the blackened sword fish at $34/plate. The orders came as grilled and they were severely over cooked. When we mentioned that the orders were wrong, we were told that they could take that fish back add blackened seasoning and re cook the same (already overcooked) fish. We asked to speak to the manager, whose immediate solution was to take off the automatic gratuity and just not tip our server. We never got an apology for the food being wrong, and the manager was completely rude the entire time. The manager's final solution was to take $4 off of a $80 bill. We will not be back.“

She even wrote Happy Birthday 🎉 on the container. So very sweet. Excellent customer service. I always encounter a great experience whether I’m dining in, calling in, or ordering online. But I most definitely wanted to shout out The lovely Caring Karen. As always I highly recommend Belaire Pancake House.“

“Some people have a favorite drink. I have a favorite bartender, and her name is Jojo! 🍸 If making cocktails were an Olympic sport, she’d be bringing home the gold. I can walk in with absolutely no idea what I want, give her a vague description of my mood, and somehow she makes the perfect drink every single time. At this point, I trust her judgment more than my own! 😂 Amazing drinks, hilarious banter, and just the right amount of sarcasm. She’s one of the biggest reasons we keep coming back! 10/10 drinks, 11/10 attitude!“

“Wasn’t expecting much. And so exceeded that. Server was the best we had in the city the food was stunning. We had the crab soup if you like seafood don’t think twice. Had the seafood nachos also a must. Great experience and well done to the team.“

“I love their chicken, I ordered white meat 3 piece meal my wife ordered dark meat but her food was warm not hot like mine. Normally they fry it up as you order not sure what happened. My fries portion was small wish they can increase quantity on the meal order. Other than that all good.“

“I was having a good time until my check came and I was charged a extra drink . the server Amber was very rude , said she was the manager and instead of correcting her mistake and thinking on it , she was rude and dismissive. I had a $20 tip for her. but I wrote on my receipt that extra drink is your tip. Very bad server experience. some people just aren't worth the argument .“

“This is in the Sheraton hotel and the atmosphere was lovely with a harbor view. The menu is basic but with solid choices and the food was exactly as anticipated. The waitstaff was very pleasant but not very attentive. They were very slow to acknowledge and seat you. We had time to kill so not a big deal but if I had time constraints I probably would have been annoyed.“

“We just wandered in to this place on Mother’s Day! So glad I did!! Wonderful food, excellent customer service!! Melvin and Cedric the greatest team! Customer service has gone down so much but these two reminded me that hospitality still matters and you can find it in the most unsuspecting places!!“
