“Spectacular in every way. Chad, Kip, and their entire staff go out of their way to ensure you have the best experience. I met them for the first time catering a wedding (I am also a vendor). Their catered food was out of this world. So good that I had to make the drive to Newport News to eat in the restaurant. To say they delivered would be an understatement. James at the bar makes the most delicious, creative, elaborate cocktails. The Blood Oath was my favorite! Their fried oysters were our favorite dish— crispy and a little spicy! The duck was so unique, sweet and savory, and cooked excellently. My husband is now obsessed with their banana foster cheesecake. Everything we had was truly perfect and we are so impressed. We will be loyal fans of Circa 1918 for life!“

“Knowledge staff and delicious food. The fish of the day was fresh and well prepared. They were conscious about what silverware was needed for each course and set the table accordingly. It was well paced between drinks, appetizers, entree, and dessert. Would recommend it for a casual meal or celebration.“

“Since I moved to Virginia back in 2019, this has been a staple meal for my family and I. Service is quick, food is always scalding hot because they just made it, and prices are more than fair for the amount of food you get. The bulgogi cheesesteak, the double cheeseburger, and the wings are all fantastic. Do yourself a favor and give this place a chance if you haven’t already; you’ll be thankful you did.“

“The menu for a BLT-Deluxe PRICED within reason got me in Thursday to feed my hunger and be a delay from the 4pm traffic backup on even Armistead and Pembroke, the short, cordially engaging, tattooed waitress who knows how to make a generously meaty sandwich made this rare trip to E. “Today was our first time in for Brunch. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend! Everything was absolutely incredible, super fresh, and completely filling. Restaurant staff was very friendly and hospitable. They also have old school arcade games that truly brought on some genuine nostalgia. We will definitely be going back again!“

“I came to Baked today on a friend’s recommendation and I am already hooked. I eat a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches and theirs is the BEST! They chop up the bacon and it was cooked perfectly. The staff is very friendly as well. This is not just a pizza place, they have breakfast, sandwiches, ice cream, a big wine bottle selection, full bar, gaming play area and cozy corner. It has it all!! I will be back to work from here and enjoy all they have to offer.“

“I mainly come out here for live music and the weekly open mics. I don’t drink so I have no need to sit at the bar. However, I will say that the server with the black hair is one of the most unpleasant individuals I’ve ever encountered. She’s always working on Thursdays (open mic nights). You would think that I rejected her back in high school or something. I try to get along with everyone but sometimes some people really just suck. Other than that, I love the place.“
