So I stood and waited off to the side for them to finish cooking so I could place my order. But Spider-Man was on the tv… so I might’ve completely zoned into that for a bit ? so when the young lady asked what the name on my order was, I just said I was waiting to order. She was like “Oh I’m so sorry!” Not her fault at all, like I said, I was too into the tv. I got the hubbs a regular BBQ chicken, and I got a regular Chicken Bacon Parm.I’m gonna be real guys, I’m not even a Mac n cheese lover. I like it, but it’s not a #1 pick for me. My husband it the Mac n cheese connoisseur.OH MY GODI don’t know what I’d add to that to make it better. We tried each others food, and THEY WERE BOTH AMAZING! “Visited this neighborhood pub the other night to watch Dirty Lix perform.. they sounded terrific! We had an awesome time! Patrons and employees were all very personable and friendly. Bar service was on point!! Loved the outdoor patio! Walked in a stranger, and walked out feeling like family! ❤️“
“4.4⭐️My husbands coworker recommended this place and told us to make sure to try the deviled eggs. I do really like deviled eggs, so of course we ordered them. Very good, We cleaned that plate! We both got drinks. My husband got the Bloody Mary, I got the Peaches peaches peaches peaches peaches.I haven’t been drinking for about 5 months. WHOA WAS THAT STRONG. My husband said his Bloody Mary was strong too but I didn’t think so, not as strong as my drink anyway. I didn’t finish it.For food, my husband ordered the country fried steak, and I got the shrimp n grits. Both were very good! I’m not sure what sauce they put on the shrimp n grits but it wasn’t super spicy, the grits were kinda chunky, the shrimp was BIG. It was very good. And my husband said the gravy on his country fried steak was AMAZING, And wants to go back just to try the biscuits and gravy. I want to try the pizza! The only thing I didn’t enjoy was my drink, but that might be because my alcohol tolerance is super low. And my husband said the only thing he didn’t care for was the potatoes that came with his meal. But overall, we both enjoyed the brunch and would definitely recommend Kismet to anyone looking for a good brunch!“

“First time here. Came in with a party of 8 people. Service was great, Cedrick did an awesome job. Only thing I did not care for was the lighting. It is very dark inside and you can't even see the menus. We were not the only ones pulling out flashlights from our phones, just to look at the menus. Other then that, it was a great time. “Working with Jason at Alpha Pitt was such a pleasure! The entire experience, from the responsiveness via email, to the tasting, to the actual wedding day, was top tier. I can't say how pleased and impressed I was with the service, food, and cleanliness on the daya of the wedding. We had our wedding in our backyard and we would have never known catering had been there after the fact! During the reception, they checked on my groom and I multiple times and were always so courteous. Afterwards I heard nothing but glowing reviews for service from the guests.The food was phenomenal! Our wedding took place an hour+ from their home base and the food was still hot and fresh when they arrived. I can't recommend the veggies, mashed potatoes, and herb crusted pork with mushroom sauce enough! We had a signature cocktail (Kentucky mule) and they used their homemade simple syrup. Would recommend giving that a try because it was so tasty.We had quite a bit of leftovers as well which made the value for the money so incredibly good. I cannot recommend alpha pitt smokers enough! If I have any catering needs in the future I will surely turn to them first!“
“I came to Baked today on a friend’s recommendation and I am already hooked. I eat a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches and theirs is the BEST! They chop up the bacon and it was cooked perfectly. The staff is very friendly as well. This is not just a pizza place, they have breakfast, sandwiches, ice cream, a big wine bottle selection, full bar, gaming play area and cozy corner. It has it all!! I will be back to work from here and enjoy all they have to offer.“

“So, so, so good!! Definitely a hidden gem in the heart of Newport News, VA. I'm vegan and they always have special fridges whipped up in the back for me when I eat there. The drinks are divine and the personable, attentive service is top notch. Just make sure you have a reservation and make it in advance if you want to dine here, you won't be disappointed!!“
