30 Best Burger Restaurants in Newport News

“Legitimately the best burger I’ve ever had, the Valkyrie burger definitely gave me a true taste of Valhalla … this Maryland girl will definitely be back for another ?“

“My fiancé and I got the Thai shrimp and the pig and fig flatbread pizza, and both were absolutely amazing! One of the best meals out we’ve had in a long time“

“The service and food was impeccable! I thoroughly enjoyed myself!“

“The BEST FAMILY RESTAURANT IN TOWN! Amazing grilled cheeseburgers and phenomenal chicken sandwiches! Friendly service with the most beautiful smiles :) Melt in your mouth chili cheese dogs! Thank you for having us for a Hidenwood Elementary School Spirit Night and our PTA meeting. We had a blast!“

“11/13/2022 Lunch with friends today. As always food was hot and cooked to our liking. Never disappointed. Today it was especially good. The Super Young Lady we had as a Server, her name was Rachel was an absolute pleasure!! All of us said the same thing. Attentive. Super Personality and just couldn’t have been any sweeter. We all brag about the food; but Young People like this deserve recognition and hopefully Management let’s her know how much we enjoyed the food, but she was the highlight of the meal. Excellent Job Young Lady!!“

“Awesome!“

“Excellent Subs and service! 😎👍👍“

“This restaurant is a hidden gem, the menu has so many options and every item was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect for a nice dinner, prices were good, the chocolate espresso martini in particular was out of this world, and to top it all off our server Rick was the absolute best!! Will be coming back very soon!“

“I enjoyed my recent visit to this restaurant. The location was welcoming, clean, and easy to access. Employees were attentive and provided excellent service throughout the visit. The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, I would happily come back again.“

“Just tried this place out for the first time. My burger was fantastic, and they had one of my favorite brews on tap. Wide variety of beers to choose from on their beer tap wall. I’m looking forward to making this one of my favorite hangouts in Newport News.“

“OMG the food and service is AMAZING! I ordered the chicken tenders and let me tell you: sooooo freaking good! I wish all restaurants made their chicken tenders and fries like this. i even ordered empandas and their carrot cake to go. My husband and I are already planning the next time we go. Such friendly people and atmosphere. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“Very good bacon 🥓 cheeseburger 🍔 n fries 🍟“

“Haven’t been to Burger King for a couple of years, but decided to go in today around 10 o’clock. It was around the end of their breakfast time but I wanted to see if the Whopper was still as good as I remembered it as a kid. Pretty cool that you can order that any time during the day, not a lot of places will do that during their breakfast hours. Food came out pretty good and the place was clean! Only downside is, since I was dining in, the amount of screaming I heard between employees was kinda shocking. I’ve worked in fast food and restaurants before so I know it can get frustrating and stressful especially around rush times BUT generally you don’t want customers hearing that. The employees were polite to the drive through and dine in customers though.“

“Writing this almost a week late ahhhlalala. Food was super yummy for a mall restaurant, especially if you love heavy, filling, and very messy food (it will be DROWNED in sauce or cheese) Def worth my money. BUT!!!!! The main reason I wanted to write this was to give a huge compliment to Stella I believe her name was on the register? By far the kindest and most engaging employee I've had the pleasure of interacting with in the food court. She had something nice to say to each of my friends in line including myself, even off the register, catching me I was walking around 💕 Honestly a passed vibe check for the whole staff, my buddy told me when he went back up there for his fries, the guy showed off his pokemon binder LOL

Always bet on wayback burger for lunch dude, so underrated“

“Just stop by on my lunch break the food was cook fresh and hot no complaints“

“The hamburgers were hot, fresh and delicious. The food was prepared exactly like we ordered it. The onion rings were ok but not worth $6 at all. The burgers are overpriced but were very very good. The milkshakes are very good as well. Lots of flavor and exactly as ordered. We would come here more often but $45 for 2 burgers, 1 order onion rings and 2 shakes is too pricey for us. Staff was totally detached. Never spoke to a single soul. We were not greeted at all nor were we thanked for spending nearly $50 for hamburgers. They aka for a tip - off putting when you have to place your own order and clean your own table. Get your own water and ketchup. Why would I be expected to tip !?!? Very annoying! I do recommend the place but be aware you may need a second mortgage to pay the bill.“

“BOMB. Got chicken (3 piece) w/ mashed potatoes & Mac n cheese. Everything was delicious and also packaged nicely. I ordered from door dash at like midnight so it was perfect 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼“

“We’ve been going to this location (near Ft Eustis) for years and our waitress, Mary, is outstanding! We always ask for her and she is always top-notch. She is the reason for all 5 star ratings. Ask for her, you won’t be disappointed!“

“Manager gave great service and was kind to me and my daughter..had rowdy customers cussing at her and handled it great...her and her team went above and beyond...thanks a lot my daughter really enjoy herself..she just now discovered the whopper and it was a great experience for us both.“

“staff was friendly. accuracy with the order. taste the same as back in the day. support local business whenever possible.“

“Delicious! No regrets about going there!!“

“I dropped by the other day for a quick bite to go, and picked up a sausage roll … and man oh man was it fantastic!!! The workers were wonderful and the food was incredible!!!! I would recommend everyone/anyone to run, not walk to Vinnie’s!!! It was the best, and the prices were great!! Will be returning to try other things on the menu, soon!!“

“Love the wings and the beef Bulgogi..I never had a bad experience there. The person taking the orders are always polite and courteous no matter who it is. I highly recommend this place!!“

“Good food. pool tables and fun times“

“I call this the '50's Flower Burger King because It plays '50s music and there are pretty flowers everywhere. Everyone that works here is so nice and the food is always accurate and delicious. I'm pretty sure this is my favorite Burger King to go to.“

“I recently stopped by this restaurant and was impressed by the overall experience. The location was clean, organized, and inviting. Overall, everything exceeded expectations and I would gladly return in the future.“

“Enjoy male/female restroom signs with silhouettes designed to look desperate. Illuminated Whopper design on dining room ceiling! Apparently the circular BK logo has been retired with return to the classic logo with level lettering and bun. Nice bus stop with shelter right in front.“

“Ok yes it's another fast food place. However every time I have a chance I drive thru for a sausage basket ok 2, always hot fresh and fast. I have not tried other menu items as I typically avoid fast food I'm thinking this is actually good food fast. Give it a try and see if I'm wrong.“
