The food was amazing.
Food was just okay. Service was pretty much self service except the cooking.

The hamburgers were hot, fresh and delicious. The food was prepared exactly like we ordered it. The onion rings were ok but not worth $6 at all. The burgers are overpriced but were very very good. The milkshakes are very good as well. Lots of flavor and exactly as ordered. We would come here more often but $45 for 2 burgers, 1 order onion rings and 2 shakes is too pricey for us. Shake Shack Newport News serves great food. The staff are very friendly. The smash burger has good flavor and caramelization. The crinkle fries are crispy and salted. Meals like the avocado bacon chicken sandwich and single hamburger are delicious. Prices are high, but the food is worth it. Shake Shack Newport News is a great place to eat, with clean and bright surroundings.
