So I stood and waited off to the side for them to finish cooking so I could place my order. But Spider-Man was on the tv… so I might’ve completely zoned into that for a bit ? so when the young lady asked what the name on my order was, I just said I was waiting to order. She was like “Oh I’m so sorry!” Not her fault at all, like I said, I was too into the tv. I got the hubbs a regular BBQ chicken, and I got a regular Chicken Bacon Parm.I’m gonna be real guys, I’m not even a Mac n cheese lover. I like it, but it’s not a #1 pick for me. My husband it the Mac n cheese connoisseur.OH MY GODI don’t know what I’d add to that to make it better. We tried each others food, and THEY WERE BOTH AMAZING! The regular is big enough to share, idk who could finish a double. The prices are definitely fair. Thankfully I don’t live far, but I would drive to try this. Highly recommend. I wish the owner was there so I could’ve gotten a pic of them. But you’re doing a great job Matt! Can’t wait to try them all. ?”

I love the interior design, if you love a good tropical looking restaurant you should definitely consider eating here, they have good chill jazzy music and the server is so nice and welcoming. Also the water fountain sounds amazing.?”
“Aago is now my new favorite restaurant! Every aspect was perfect. The waiters were super friendly, the restaurant is very clean and has a warm ambiance, and the food is everything you could want from an Indian restaurant. Like seriously, words can’t describe how good the food was. Normally, when I dine I can find a critique from one dish or another but, not here. Everything I had was perfect. This was my 2nd visit. Both times I had masala paneer, and chili paneer with garlic naan. This time I also decided to try the tandoori chicken. The paneer was so delicious. The tandoori chicken was cooked to perfection. It had the right amount of crispness on the edges, and the meat was still so juicy. I also had mango lassi both times and, as expected it was phenomenal. It’s expensive but it’s worth it. I wish I lived closer but I’m sure my husband’s wallet is grateful that I won’t be able to visit as often as I would love to.”

“The food is excellent! I truly can’t say enough good to convey how wonderful it is. I had the fahsa tonight. It was delicious! I had intended to take some home to share with my parents, but it was so good that all of us at the table just kept savoring it with the hot bread that comes with it. I’ll just have to take my parents to Shibam so they get the full experience. BTW, our waiter is perfect! We’ve been lucky enough to have him each time.”

“Each time I go, everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is fantastic! The best seating is outdoors, and if the weather gets chilly, there is a basket of blankets inside that you can borrow from to keep you cozy. It's like going to your best friend's house and spending the day out back with good games, great food, and the best company! I highly recommend stopping in!”

The only thing not available was whole cloves of garlic. I really enjoy grilled garlic with my BBQ. “The best Thai food we have had in the area! We started out with the Bangkok shrimp and the summer rolls, both were delicious and the dipping sauces were delightful! I got the pad thai at a medium with tofu and it was filling, actually a medium spice, and delicious! My partner got the garlic pepper stir fry with chicken and he said it is one of only two other dishes that had the perfect amount of garlic, which is to say too much garlic for me but enough for a garlic lover! The service was fantastic and the ambiance was perfection.”

We both got drinks. My husband got the Bloody Mary, I got the Peaches peaches peaches peaches peaches.I haven’t been drinking for about 5 months. WHOA WAS THAT STRONG. My husband said his Bloody Mary was strong too but I didn’t think so, not as strong as my drink anyway. I didn’t finish it.For food, my husband ordered the country fried steak, and I got the shrimp n grits. Both were very good! I’m not sure what sauce they put on the shrimp n grits but it wasn’t super spicy, the grits were kinda chunky, the shrimp was BIG. It was very good. And my husband said the gravy on his country fried steak was AMAZING, And wants to go back just to try the biscuits and gravy. I want to try the pizza! The only thing I didn’t enjoy was my drink, but that might be because my alcohol tolerance is super low. And my husband said the only thing he didn’t care for was the potatoes that came with his meal. But overall, we both enjoyed the brunch and would definitely recommend Kismet to anyone looking for a good brunch!”
“I had the pleasure of dining at Fins earlier this month on a lunch trip to Newport News, VA. It was my first time in this area, and I was very pleased with the inside and outside atmosphere of the restaurant. The colors, utensils, food, service, etc. were all top notch. Our server, Kameron, was attentive and brought out delicious flavors for us to try. As a long-time vegetarian, I broke my diet for this restaurant and do NOT regret it. I highly recommend the firecracker shrimp starter and their seafood pasta. The kitchen offered to make the dishes vegetarian for me, which was very nice given it is an upscale seafood restaurant. I suggest everyone tries Fins! Five stars.”

“This restaurant is nicely set up. Such a beautiful scene for a date night. The waiter we has was on his A game, very polite. For starters we ordered bang bang shrimp and beef ginger potstickers. For dinner I ordered the Tuna Poke and my husband ordered the Chimichurri Fillet. Everything was well prepared, fresh, and very delicious. I have no complaints other than the food took a while to get to us we spent 2 hours total in there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!”
“This is my family's go to Mexican restaurant. Flavorful food for an insanely affordable price and free chips and salsa. The menu isn't overly diverse but it's exactly what you'd expect at an authentic restaurant. Only gripe is meat isn't the highest quality, but for the flavor and price, it's an absolute steal. Parking lot can be inconvenient, especially if it's busy (which it almost always is).”

It felt like I was eating a pepperoni pizza with garden tomatoes sauce. Nonetheless I enjoyed it and want to try more from the menu. I recommend to try this place out.”

This small shop is the perfect amount of hardly put together that you just know the food is gonna hit. The owner took my order - after answering that he didn’t have any preferences to the food, and it’s all good, I chose the house special beef bulgogi sub and fried pork mandu. I did not get a combo with the sandwich, but he gave me fries anyway! Which I am very glad he did, because they were great along with everything else! The beef bulgogi sub was a Philly cheesesteak, but with bulgogi beef instead - it was incredible. Salty, savory, fatty, fresh, a hint of sweetness with umami coating my mouth, it was delicious. And the fried mandu were so beautiful and expertly fried, but still delicate to the touch and savory throughout. My food was served up in under ten minutes, before I could even wonder, “Will it be ready soon?” The prices were reasonable, and the owner was happy to serve me. I definitely look forward to trying their wings, chicken sandwich, and authentic Korean dishes as well. I am so happy that I found this, and that it met all my excitement!”

“It was Easter. My husband and my parents wanted to take my little sister on an Easter egg hunt, but plans quickly changed after the venue of the hunt was moved. My sister typically likes to have pizza when she comes into town and a lot of restaurants were closed. Mellow mushroom is open until 10 that day and it was a great decision.Our food was wonderful. I got the buffalo chicken dip and my husband got a California Club. He also got an Angry Orchard as a drink and he said it was nice and cold- very refreshing!My mother treated us so we do not have a total. But the Buffalo Chicken dip was around $12/$13 and the California Club was around $11/$12. Drinks were $3.50. And the Angry Orchard price wasn’t listed. So I’m not sure on that.In the summer is perfect because they have cornhole outside while you wait on your food, or even if you come to grab drinks!Overall, food was great and came quickly to the table. Service was awesome. Will definitely be going back!”

“Saffron has a beautiful dining room, perfect for a date night or a night out with friends. The food was delicious. Each entree was served with two types of rice and a side salad. We ordered the lamb entree and a falafel entree. The lamb was cooked perfectly with a slight pink center and a little char flavor on the edges. The falafel were flavorful and perfectly crisp. The service was excellent and the food came out very quickly. We will be back soon! Glad to have found a local Mediterranean restaurant.”

“The greatest culinary mystery of Hampton Roads is how Taste makes their multi-grain bread taste so good! Plenty of crunchy crust, pillowy soft interior, thick enough to where it holds up the sandwich ingredients, but not too thick to where it overwhelms the other ingredients. My go to's are the Beach Club (roast beef instead of ham) and the Northender (Swiss cheese instead of Havarti and house dressing instead of basil mayo). Don't skip on the house or hot house dressings. The bottles aren't cheap, but it's the chef's kiss to these sandwiches. And major props for having Dr Brown's soda and Route 11 chips! Parking is usually a challenge, so if you get a spot on the street, count your blessings. Plenty of seating and there's also a lot of grab and go options as well.”

For the tacos and just adding jalapeños doesn't denote flavor or mean is "southwest". Still great spot and would come back.”

The waitress who I believe may have been one of the owners was very friendly and accommodating. We had a 3 year old and she played with him and ensured he was happy. Our food was hot and fresh. I have tried many Thai restaurants in the area, but Tiger Thai is truly a gem. My daughter had the wonton soup and the shrimp rolls. She loved them! My mother had the pineapple fried rice and the portion was very large. It was seasoned perfectly and had a lot of chicken and shrimp. My sister had a ginger stir fry dish with shrimp and that was also fresh and delicious. The shrimp were a nice size and there were a rainbow of vegetables. I had the pineapple curry dish with chicken and was happy that fresh pineapple was used. The curry was smooth and rich with just enough spice. I can’t wait until I get a chance to return to try more items on the menu.”

It was my first time in this area, and I was very pleased with the inside and outside atmosphere of the restaurant. The colors, utensils, food, service, etc. were all top notch. Our server, Kameron, was attentive and brought out delicious flavors for us to try. As a long-time vegetarian, I broke my diet for this restaurant and do NOT regret it. I highly recommend the firecracker shrimp starter and their seafood pasta. The kitchen offered to make the dishes vegetarian for me, which was very nice given it is an upscale seafood restaurant. I suggest everyone tries Fins! Five stars.”

I had to ask for tortillas to eat my fajitas and for sauce that was supposed to come with empanadas. Fajitas shrimp was overcooked and dish was bland overall, hence the need for sauce...i had to borrow sour cream from someone to make my meal live up to it's menu status but overall everything was good!”

One thing I like about the guy who prepared my food was that he put a napkin at the bottom of the eggroll bag so the eggroll would not be so greasy. I also ordered the general tos. This general tos is different from what I'm used to because this one is very sweet. I've never known the general tos to be sweet and this is overly sweet. He over did it. I'm not a fan of foods that are too sweet. His general tso tastes more like honey chicken. It tasted like he put the whole bag of sugar in there. So What I did was add soy sauce and it made it a little better from the little bit of soy sauce I had. Don't get me wrong, the general tso wasn't bad it's just that I don't like food that's way too sweet. I know younger people would like it because they like sweet foods like that. I would definitely return to this place and recommend it. I just would not return for the general tso.”

“My husband and I decided to try OMG sushi even though it’s a little out of the way for us, because the sushi places near us with all-you-can-eat options are frankly trash. Immediately you can tell that OMG sushi is more authentic. Their menu is better, and pricing is competitive with other places. Their sushi is fresh, delicious, and has less filler (like breadcrumbs) than other places. The staff is so lovely, and for most of them I think English is their second language. You can tell they all have friendly relationships, which makes for a nice atmosphere. It’s been shockingly empty in there when we’ve gone mid-week patron-wise (we’ve gone twice and definitely will be back!), but the staff have given us space and also been attentive enough (it’s been a very good balance) and the food comes out FAST. “Came to check it out and overall great spot with good food. Staff was friendly and service was prompt, even being peak time. Coffee was good and grabbed a seat at the community table (which meant no wait). Menu is extensive and covers typical American fare for breakfast and lunch. Got the breakfast tacos and swapped thr beans for potatoes. While it all tasted great the potatoes were on the salty side. For the tacos and just adding jalapeños doesn't denote flavor or mean is "southwest". Still great spot and would come back.”

“It was Easter. My husband and my parents wanted to take my little sister on an Easter egg hunt, but plans quickly changed after the venue of the hunt was moved. My sister typically likes to have pizza when she comes into town and a lot of restaurants were closed. Mellow mushroom is open until 10 that day and it was a great decision.Our food was wonderful. I got the buffalo chicken dip and my husband got a California Club. He also got an Angry Orchard as a drink and he said it was nice and cold- very refreshing!My mother treated us so we do not have a total. But the Buffalo Chicken dip was around $12/$13 and the California Club was around $11/$12. Drinks were $3.50. And the Angry Orchard price wasn’t listed. So I’m not sure on that.In the summer is perfect because they have cornhole outside while you wait on your food, or even if you come to grab drinks!Overall, food was great and came quickly to the table. Service was awesome. Will definitely be going back!”

It could have been a little cleaner, like the person preparing my food there was rice and tomatoes and sauce everywhere and it was on the bottom of my bowl. Also I feel like the people food was left open for too long sitting there waiting on the second person to finish the bowl so i waited till it cleared out to order. Besides that it was nice the employees were nice and I enjoyed my food! I actually love their waffles but we all know THE HOUSE can be a little janky sometimes and smell like dirty mop water.
