“The wait staff was above and beyond on jun, 27th. The man who served my meal was very flamboyant and sweet . The playground area was wiped down right in front of my eyes. The cleaning man was also very kind .
Food was hot and order was correct . I also love that they finally added Mac sauce to the kiosk , because sometimes it's hard to get. I usually come to this McDonald regularly and I pick this over other ones in the area.“
“I visited this location this morning. I was mistakenly charged for someone else’s order, Management refunded my money and didn’t charge me at all for the inconvenience. Offered me a drink and sent me on the way. No questions asked. Very polite, corrected my issue and apologized without an attitude. Good job!“
“Great place for lunch. Most of time I visit the food has been served hot and out the oil french fries. The atmosphere is cafeteria feel. There is not much personal touch with others inside. I had to wait 5-7minute for my order on the kiosk to be served to me.“
“The staff working there tonight during the dinner rush work well under pressure. Mainly the night manager and the front end worker with the long braids. They handled a lot of chaos in a professional manner even while customers were being difficult. They forgot some of my food and I went back and they fixed the issue quickly.“

“I came thru this morning and had been having a ROUGH WEEK! No sooner had I pulled into the drive thru I heard a warm welcoming “ GOOD MORNING THIS IS MS. Jean” … did my day turn around. She asked me how I was, she promptly and politely took my order and my mood lifted instantly. Thank you Ms. Jean ( and also thank you to the wonderful polite man who gave me my order as he is also very warm and professional) for making my morning just a little better. “In the mornings I pass by 4 other Mcdonalds before getting to this one. The yound lady that works the drive tru is great, always polite and super helpful. I usually place my order via mobile to save time. Today I messed up and placed my drink order wrong. She recognized the problem before me and checked to make sure that I wanted it my usual way. Thanks for the great service .“
“I just came back to this location and was looking to purchase lunch for some folks who were down on their luck and they were able to help me out with that and took care of An error that was on the app, but I think I caused, and they were super helpful. This is definitely the best McDonald’s in the area. They take care of their customers. If you’re looking for McDonald’s today and you’re in Newport News, stop by the one on J Clyde Morris. Managers are top-notch, and the employees took care of me super quickly!“
