McDonald's in Virginia Beach

“Visited today in the evening 8/10 and went through the drive through. The receipt has KS#13 and McDonald's restaurant 22468 listed. First order was a Dbl Qtr Ch MI-Lrg this the second time they've given me a Medium drink!
That isn't the worst of it all though, the person taking the drive thru order had an attitude along with her direct supervisor to the point when asked about the free apple pies they said we aren't doing that now he talked over her into system. Which wasn't true! This is third or fourth time in numerous weeks of ordering that we were told no and upon the next trip we'd get the free apple pies with the combo meal. The person at the window was rude and shut the window while speaking.
We've been going here for years, and this particular shift is horrible with a degrading attitude toward us as customers.
This trip makes me wonder if I want to go back. Notice the food is great is the service with certain shifts that are issues!“

“There are always issues at this McDonald’s location. Drive thru-either the lines are super long,wait time terrible and having to PARK while awaiting an order. Workers playing around or on their phones VISIBLY in store. Customers complaining during the wait. Do better!“

“I haven't been to McDonald's in a long time, I had a few minutes to spare this morning on my way to a job & I chose to hit the drive thru at McDonald's, I ordered the the steak and egg with carmelized onions bagel, it should have a little bit more onions then it would really make a statement, it was delicious.“

“I showed up for breakfast at 5 am. The service was really fast and the staff so polite. The scenery atmosphere is pretty cool and modern looking. I sat at the window seat. Not the best for eating at but definitely good for relaxing for a bit before hitting the road again.“

“This store has always been better in my opinion than all others in Customer Service and overall experience! This morning, Stephanie was so patient with me ordering my coffee because I had no idea what to get? I usually just drink iced coffee in the summer but today first snow of the year in Virginia Beach I wanted a hot coffee. Stephanie was very patiently and helped me out. “Best Mcdonald's on this side in my opinion. I've only had one mishap here, but it was dinner rush and mistakes can happen. But they fixed the mistake right away and very quickly. Other than that one time. Food is always hot and fresh and the customer service is good.“

“This is probably the premium McDonald's experience in all of HR. Was it perfect, no, but it was grand. The server, Dusk, was so kind and approachable whenever they delivered my tray and they food was about what I expected. It's never like it was in the 90s but with adjusted expectations it is pretty alright. My table and bench seat had some debris on it deom previous customers, but that didn't bother me. They have have touch screen games available which is the reason that we stayed over an hour. We were not told to leave and the atmosphere is pleasant! Busy but not frantic. I recommend this McDonald's.“

“I don't know what changes you made but I use to dread going here, but lately I've found the employees to be very efficient polite and on point with the food. Now this is the McDonald's I grew up with. It was going down hill fast, but I like the change

“Visiting this location just for a quick sandwich. The wait time slightly longer than I’m use to. The counter staff was polite.

Note to management: I planned to dine in but the first section I sat at, the odor wasn’t refreshing for an eatery.

However, I enjoyed the item I purchased.“

“Ordered 10 piece chicken McNugget meal with a large fry and a large Hi- C orange in the drive-thru, service was very quick. Employee greeted me at the window. Area of improvement: after receiving my french fries after I drove off, upon tasting them (cold), I immediately returned to the drive-thru window and requested new french fries. The employee immediately replace the french fries with no problem.“

“I choose to go to McDonald’s today because I was craving for the McGriddle. I love it. To me it taste like pancakes. I entered the store and it was so quiet and peaceful. I needed help placing my order at the kiosk and a young man came to help me. Very nice customer service. Everything very clean and neat.“

“Today, we had a wonderful experience ordering/dining in for breakfast. Isaiah, our cashier, was amazing—friendly, efficient, and made the ordering process smooth and pleasant. Junior, who handled and distributed customer orders, truly went above and beyond. Our food was nice and hot just the way we like our breakfast.
With our order, we got decaffeinated coffee, but it wasn’t brewed to our liking. We ask Junior if he would kindly make a fresh pot. He asked if we’d prefer a fresh pot of regular coffee instead, and when we agreed, he made it—and it was absolutely delicious. That level of attentiveness and care really stood out.
While taking care of their regular patrons they also had a large group of young teenage boys who were participating in a wrestling championship there in Virginia Beach and what was so amazing was that the line was moving at a very fast pace with the large group.

It’s always refreshing to receive such excellent customer service. Junior and Isaiah made our visit enjoyable and are a great representation of the team. They provided outstanding customer service.“

“I live right down the street from this McDonald's and my family and I come in to eat or pick up food from the drive thru regularly. In all those instances, I have never had an issue with food, service or atmosphere (prices are another story, but heck, that's nationwide and business-wide lol).

But I would always recommend this McDonalds.

Clean, great staff, consistent quality (I emphasize the word CONSISTENT as I think a lot of food service businesses lack this. This McDonald's has consistent quality with regards to all aspects of this rating. Stop in and check them out for yourselves!“

“Mobile ordered n picked up curb side. The employee that brought the food was really a great guy. I think we had him go back in to bring the things we needed/wanted and not one time gave attitude. He smiled n got it. It was a nice. I'm sorry to have him go back n forth many times and VERY thankful.
