“First time here. All the staff greeted with a smile and was so nice. We got the Jerk egg rolls, chicken Philly egg rolls and the parmesan chicken eggrolls to eat some there and take with us. I was a little hesitant to get the Parmesan chicken rolls but I have to say they were my favorite. Oh and we got the Mac and cheese stuffed wings and they were delicious as well. Thanks J & K Styles for a great experience. When ever we’re back in Virginia we will be back.“

“We loved our service here! The waitress was incredibly helpfulC friendly and patient with our larger party. She was able to recommend items from the brunch menu, she gave us her favorite foods to try and she was great at describing the foods so we could make a good decision.
The ambiance is nicely decorated to match the vibe of the menu and its name being a craft house. The art in the bathroom was not just art but an ode to food information as it was packed with facts and beautiful art.
We had an about a 30 min wait but it went fast and the food and service did not disappoint. Everyone enjoyed their foods, we tried a lot of items from the brunch menu simply because we know this place will switch the options up.
Mimosa flight: favorite was the pineapple, least favorite was the orange juice.
The Big A** Pretzel was like a bagel consistency and even had like everything bagel seasoning. The cheese sauce served with it was incredibly delicious.
The Bone Marrow was excellent- the toasted bread was perfect and the Rockefeller oysters were cooked perfectly.
Some of the other items not pictured were more from the brunch menu and we all agree it was a 5/5 experience and would love to return when in town.

“I came to the VB location and was blown away by their food and drink. The sweet potato fries could have been a dessert served on their own they were just that good. Our burgers were amazing! I had the whisky burger and the pimento cheese just makes it! Only thing is I wish there was more of it on the burger! My Old Fashioned was great, not watered down and was very good. Portions of food were perfectly sized to finish in a sitting.“

“We have been going here for a few years now so I figured I would post a review. The atmosphere is very old school/hole in the wall/local secret. The food is amazing. This place is SO much better than a lot of the similar spots near by. I have yet to be let down by anything I order here and the home fries are the best. Service can be a little slow due to it usually only being one or to people waiting tables but they are always super friendly and the food is worth the wait.“

“Woooooow, like, what can I say? — Where do I start? It’s an amazing venue; If you are thinking about having an event here, just do it! Heather and her team took care of everything. Heather, the owner, is also very communicative and approachable. Her team made sure my event went smoothly and that everything was taken care of. My many guest kept commenting on how cool, friendly, and down to earth the staff was. The food was great! In addition, Heather can customize and tailor a package that fits the needs of your event to include foods that are not listen on the Uncle Al’s menu. Let Uncle Al’s make your event dreams come true, or just stop by for a meal. P.S. I love their Mac & Cheese!“

“Typically I have great experiences here and love the food however I am frustrated by my recent visit. I ordered on the app simple combo and extra order of fries. I didn’t receive my fries and was asked to provide a receipt which is confusing when I’m sitting there and they just made my order and handed this to me. So I’m having to prove what I ordered then have to wait for 5 minutes for just my extra fries while my other fries are getting cold. It’s not a BIG deal but it’s those little things that make you see customer service is NOT a priority.“

“Today has honestly been a rough day. However, once I walked into this location, my mood changed. You could tell this crew was in sync with one another. Their energies changed my mood for that moment in time. I definitely needed it! Keep that energy up! “I ordered 2 patty melts. 1 with Philly cheese steak and the other with bacon. The sandwiches were good but they used to be a little bigger. When I drove around to the window, I decided to increase my order to make them both a combo and added a large onion ring. The gentleman(Ismael)at the window made the changes without any problems ??????.“
