“If you are looking for a place to sit outside and enjoy the weather... New River Taphouse is a good bet. They do not have the overhead shades any longer. You can bring your dog, so they can enjoy the outing as well. Our server was nice... she was in training but she was helpful. The prices were acceptable. The deck was clean. There is a large selection of beer and wine. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.“

“This place was a 10 out of 5 stars. It exceeded all and any expectations I had walking in the door. I got the Krabby Patty which was phenomenal. The fries had some choices of seasonings but I picked the sun dried tomato and basil seasoning and I also got the mushrooms with beer cheese and let me tell you…… my mouth watered for each bite. Then to top it off, a nice glass of Bourbon which I couldn’t even begin to tell you the vast amount of choices they have was amazing. I got the old fashioned with a zest of orange peel topped off with a cinnamon garnish. The staff was so friendly, very attentive and water stayed filled. I loved every bit of this place and will be definitely coming back again.“

They have a decent draft selection. I ordered a Bold Rock.Told her it was my first time there and asked for burger recommendations. She suggested the Aristocrat, the Whiskey, and the Black and Bleu based on popularity. I went with the Aristocrat. Then I asked about the wings and if they were good. She said they were really good. So I ordered six buffalo wings with ranch. They have lots of tv's which was nice so I watch some March Madness while I waited. My food came out in no time. The wings were sooo good. Hot and crunchy on the outside. And coated in sauce! Some places just drizzle sauce on their wings but it felt like these wings were cooked in the buffalo sauce. My burger was rrally god too. It was cooked medium like I had asked. And the tots were nice, hot, and crunchy. The presentation of both plates was pretty fantastic too. “Overall a very average experience (if you don't get the exotic meats) lol the burgers taste like normal burgers, there's nothing really special about them but they taste good. The price is average and the portions are average, to which there's nothing wrong with that(would highly not recommend the claw machines... they're one of those ones where it totally has no grip. The only one that works it's the rubber ducky one so if you like rubber duckies have a field day)“
“Showed up around 6 on a Friday night with a party of 4. It was about a 20 minute wait for a table, but we were able to grab a drink at the bar which made it go by faster. Their beer selection is unique and expansive. They had an Earl Gray Ale that was very tasty. Service was a little slow, but our waitress looked very young so it may have just been a one off. Food was delicious and my cocktail was superb (purple haze)“

I got the rame with they were out of pork (they asked if chicken would be fine) and a few other things, but it was worth the price and filled me up (which is the important thing IMO).“

When handing me my order, he told me he wrapped each half separately. His kindness and consideration really made my day. “Holy bananas this place is great! Most amazing hush puppies I have ever had...and the staff at the hotel is so friendly! The bar is small, only two or three tables inside, and they aren't open all the time...but well worth the stop for the hush puppies alone! Great view of the beach, will definitely be back in the summer to sit outside. The chef even offered to whip me up some homemade honey butter, but the sauce they already had was fantastic! No frills, but super cute, amazing service and the best food!“

That nice fatty mouth feel from the sausage, not too loose, on a buttery biscuit. The home fries had that nice crust on the bottom. Sunny side eggs had the whites set and the yolks runny. Bacon served crispy. There is a lot of food for $14.99.Very easy-going atmosphere. Half a dozen counter stools, a few deuces, some four tops, and a couple of six tops. Homey decor, but nothing kitschy (thank god). Exhibition kitchen, and you get a great view from the counter.The staff is super nice and straightforward. Service is quick and efficient. “Typically I have great experiences here and love the food however I am frustrated by my recent visit. I ordered on the app simple combo and extra order of fries. I didn’t receive my fries and was asked to provide a receipt which is confusing when I’m sitting there and they just made my order and handed this to me. So I’m having to prove what I ordered then have to wait for 5 minutes for just my extra fries while my other fries are getting cold. It’s not a BIG deal but it’s those little things that make you see customer service is NOT a priority.“

“We ventured out to Red Robin as our first real restaurant with our infant and toddler. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly! They had a sling for us to put our infant car seat in so little man could be part of the action. Someone in our group had dietary restrictions and they went above and beyond to double check that she could eat everything she ordered! My toddler even got a balloon on the way out which he loved. We had a great time and will definitely be back!“

“This place is conveniently located in the Haywood shopping center and has a lot of available parking. The hostess was wonderful and so was the server. The bartender was friendly and made good drinks. The food was fresh and a lot better than I thought it would be. The burger was juicy and delicious. The Philly sandwich was pretty good and so was the French onion soup. The only thing I didn't care for were the dehydrated French fries. If you put enough sauce and salt on them they are tolerable, they just weren't my thing. Overall, this place is great. Lots of sports to watch and they have a pool table and some games as well. It's also been a while since we had Five Guys and this was our first time at this location.Coming in, the restaurant was pretty clean. When you go by the counter, the huge box of peanuts were open and ready for you to pick up from. My wife ordered first and asked if they still do lettuce wraps for the burger instead of a bun. She got asked if it was for dietary reasons or preference... I don't believe this was asked before unless they've been doing it for a few years now. Again, it's been a while since I've been to a Five Guys location. Anyway, I ordered the same thing. For two lettuce wrapped burger meal (shared fries and two regular drinks), the total came out to be more than $40. Okay, I don't mind since I know they usually give a huge burger and two handful fries. But the thing I did mind was the weird vibe that the employee had when we asked for lettuce wraps. I felt like she was judging us a little.Moving on, as we waited inside, they had called out our order and my wife went to the counter to pick it up. She went through the bag and simply asked if everything we ordered was in the bag. She always asks this because sometimes employees from different restaurants forgets to add a few things on the bag and we would have to return to pick up the missing items. Basically, its just her habit at this point. I watched from the table and saw the lady give a weird look at my wife, who was still checking the bag, before she noticed that I was watching the whole thing as it transpired. She, then, turned away from my gaze and seemingly tried to look as if nothing happened.Fresh burgers and a good amount of nicely seasoned fries eitherway.Parking: Few spots for disabled parking. “J&K Style Grill catered my mother's 60 Birthday Party on 3/16/24. We ordered Pulled Pork, Grilled and Fried Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Collards, Potato Salad, Egg Rolls, Dinner Rolls, Tea and Lemonade. When the food was delivered Kelvin and his wife Latonya and their daughter took the liberty to set the food up for us and light the warmers. They were only supposed to drop the food off. Kelvin also offered to leave his food warmers to keep the extra food warm until it was ready to be served. He went out of his way to make sure that we were ok. I really appeciate the GREAT service that was given and would recommend them to any and everyone. On top of the great service the food was also really good. You will not loose if you choose J&K Style Grill. Will add photos later.“
