“My husband and I went here for lunch. We have eaten here twice before and really liked it. I am Celiac and got the gluten-free crust both times in the past. This time I decided to to try the regular crust because at Victoria's they import their flour from Italy and I heard that other Celiac's who eat here eat the regular crust and do not have issues. Well, I am here to tell you that I did not have one issue after eating the regular crust! Not any of the normal symptoms that I usually have after even eating the tiniest amount of gluten.

The crust was amazing, so light! I highly recommend Victoria's and if you are Celiac, try the regular crust. You will not regret it!“

“My wife is from Brooklyn and we've eaten at Mulberry Street many times in Little Italy ?? and some of the best Italian food in NY and we both agree that Basilico is the most authentic Italian food we've had the pleasure of enjoying in the entire area if not Virginia period...I've done close to 300 reviews so check it out if you think I haven't had my share of real Italian food and believe me when I say this is THE SPOT! Bridget was our waitress and she kept our beverages full and was very polite and courteous, we had Eggplant ? Parmigiano and Veal Parmagia and we couldn't believe it, like being in NY I swear! “I visited this establishment today 2/10/23 for the first time. The environment is inviting , friendly. The pizza was a bit disappointing paper thin pizza , very dry and crust not cooked thoroughly and not fresh. The taste was good but not enough cheese. I will return for a second time hoping it’s a better experience and maybe it’s better to order a fresh pie and just bring it home with me. Over all I give it 5/10 with room for improvement.“

“My husband and I stopped by on our way home. We've driven past multiple times, but since we were hungry this time, we figured we could try their pizza. We came in around 2pm and it was pretty quiet, which was nice. Our server Katie grabbed our drinks, took our orders, and was polite and friendly. The fried pickles tasted fresh, briny, and delicious. The pizza was good with a very tasty crust and tomatoey sauce. The cheese and pepperoni were good. I probably wouldn't order sausage on our pizza again as it didn't taste like Italian sausage, but almost tasted like breakfast sausage, being too sweet. The only downside to our meal was the group of servers standing around to loudly gossip in the hallway right next to the dining room. And the group of children that came running out of the game room in the back rattled the entire room, sending our table and booth to shaking. “Aldo’s is my absolute favorite restaurant! I am a very picky eater. My husband, (boyfriend at the time) , took me to Aldo’s on one of our first dates in 1990. If he was trying to impress me..it worked! Jim, the owner, has been there since the beginning and he is amazing! He has treated us like gold for 34 years now! He has sent wine and dessert over on our anniversary, compliments of the restaurant! He always asks us how everything was and of course, it’s always perfect! I have never had an issue. The atmosphere is incredible, very romantic and relaxing. There is live piano and the wait staff are top notch. Jim only hires the best! They have authentic Italian food that has so much flavor and there is nothing like it! I highly recommend Aldo’s for fine dining and just an overall fabulous experience!“

“In town for a conference and this place happens to be near my hotel. Lots of creative pies on the menu. My food and service from Jenna was so good the first night I came back my second night. First night was a paneer tiki masala pizza. Just the right amount of spice. Crust was the perfect char. My cocktail was excellent. Night two. Baked potatoe pizza. Again right on point and Jennas cocktail was excellent. If you are staying on the boardwalk definitely give it a try.“

“Finally made it to Windy City Pizza for the first time. We weren't disappointed. Didn't have time for the Chicago-style thick crust this trip but the thin crust was definitely on point and the sausage they use was some of the best we've ever had on a pizza. “This is a Take-out or Delivery ONLY location. The last meal I had was the Chicken Alfredo pasta in a foil pan and it was very good "comfort food". Oddly, I have frozen Chicken Alfredo pasta at home, in an Easy-to-Make bagged form but, some days I just want to EAT and not MAKE the food at all.

Placed order for subs instead, took an hour and 15 minutes to get a meatball sub. Was not offered a comp for the meal. Kitchen staff did not seem rushed, saw three walk out of Kitchen to socialize. The service certainly declined.“

There are more kids here than at any playground (30-40+ the last few fri/sat nights), running around, screaming, throwing gravel, playing on the stairs, and treating the place like a jungle gym.

I have found this store to be extremely friendly, the pizza is consistent, and i have never had to wait past the expected time for food.Its the predictable taste of pizza hut so if that is your thing, then thats your thing.
