“The blanco pizza, cheesy garlic bread, and garlic bread were all so tasty!! The food was so fresh and you can tell it was made with love. Our server Cole was nice and helpful. And the owner Kim was very nice and friendly. She made my family and I feel so welcomed. We will definitely be back.“
“Aldo’s is my absolute favorite restaurant! I am a very picky eater. My husband, (boyfriend at the time) , took me to Aldo’s on one of our first dates in 1990. If he was trying to impress me..it worked! Jim, the owner, has been there since the beginning and he is amazing! He has treated us like gold for 34 years now! He has sent wine and dessert over on our anniversary, compliments of the restaurant! He always asks us how everything was and of course, it’s always perfect! I have never had an issue. The atmosphere is incredible, very romantic and relaxing. There is live piano and the wait staff are top notch. Jim only hires the best! They have authentic Italian food that has so much flavor and there is nothing like it! I highly recommend Aldo’s for fine dining and just an overall fabulous experience!“
“Oh this place was amazing! When I walk in here, I got the vibe of simple but homey. Our experience is great. First of, we started our meal with their appetizers. We choose the Burrata cheese, it was so refreshing. Then for our main course was Seafood pasta for my friend, the sauce and pasta was made from the scratch and just perfectly seasoned. The shrimp and scallops were fresh. Then for mine, it was Newyork Steak Tagliata- it's was overcooked a little bit but man it tasted so good! With all spices in it and the meat was still so tender!. Finally for our dessert, we got the Tiramisu! This is legit! I could tasted the bitterness of the coffee (which is like) with perfect sweetness and creaminess, it really blend well! And of course Ina, our server is great!. She's so attentive and so kind. So guys this place is a must try :D“
“Ordered a bit of everything- pizzas, calzones, sub, pasta, fries. It was all very well prepared, packaged, and was soooo delicious! You could tell it was made with care and fresh ingredients. Loved the ricotta with mozzarella combination. Can’t wait to order again!“
“Very kind lady she makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in the food is top tier. The pistachio cake is the most delicious cake I've ever had. The place is small but very cozy. I enjoyed listening to the regulars speak Italian. I am coming here again for sure. Thank “
“Jet's would be my go-to pizza place if it wasn't only in VB. A friend of mine talked up this place and would drive 40 mins to get it. Naturally, I had to try it, and I am glad I did. I ordered a 4 corner Eugene special with the cajun seasoning on the crust ?. The staff was really nice and got everyone's orders out quickly. I will be going again whenever I go back to VB.Parking: There is plenty of parking. However, if you are going when the other establishments are open, it could possibly go up.“
“Bill Cutrell and I eat here often. I hesitate to write a review as it’s a secret spot lol. Small and delightful place. We LOVE it. The atmosphere, wait staff, chef (Angelo) are the best of the best. Angelo is a master chef. Jennifer is a fabulous server too!! At the end we tried Stephanie’s rainbow cookies which were to die for too. I don’t know why this place doesn’t have a 5.0 but deserves it. I had the rib-eye peperonata and Bill had the Grouper marinara. Both were to die for! ❤️❤️❤️“
“We had a group of 18 at the location on Princess Anne Rd an it was an awesome experience! Staff was great, food was amazing! This location is our go to for celebrating special moments and they once again more than met our expectations. Highly recommended!“
“Phenomenal dinner! Restaurant on the 6th floor with a view of the ocean. The she-crab soup was very good. The table side caesar salad was one of the best I've ever had! The pork chop was fine, but not my favorite. The flounder francese special was perfect, with such a light breading and flavorful sauce. The tiramisu was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! You could tell everything was homemade and so fresh. And to top it all off, the service was outstanding! I would highly recommend this restaurant. It is definitely the best place I've had in VA Beach.“
“My husband and I had been out Christmas shopping and we were ready to drop. Coming up the rear of the mall we saw the new chophouse and we thought let’s go try it. I couldn’t be happier that we did. It was very lively as it was Christmas. But all that absolutely went completely out of my mind when I was served the most incredibly impeccable lobster bisque. It was served so delicately, and in a way I’ve never seen, but the taste was out of this world. There was a place in Los Angeles called ‘hamburger hamlet’ and they used to have the best bisque. in the United States lobster bisque. They now have arrival. The stake arrived fork tender. I did not have to use a knife, although it was served with an exquisite one, the steak was just amazing , the only complaint I had with it was that the béarnaise sauce, that I ordered on the side, was cold and hard. Definitely not the way béarnaise sauce should be served. My husband eats his meat like shoe leather! His steak came out still juicy AND tender!!, still wonderful and he can’t wait to go back. I had a Pepsi to drink and my husband had two beers and our tab was $145 so it is pretty pricey, but completely worth it.“
“The pastrami is officially on my list of top 10 bites in Hampton Roads. To be honest, this is what brings Brooklyn Pizzeria to a 5-star rating for me. Yes, the pizza was good, but it didn't blow my mind like the sandwich. I probably would only make the trek out again if I knew for certain that I would be getting my hands on this sandwich again. I am really excited, however, to try more menu items next time we go. We got the Brooklyn pie which was yummy. I look forward to trying more of the sandwiches and the arancini. Service was super friendly. I found pricing to be fair. Ambiance/atmosphere is not what you come for. It's pretty non-existent, but isn't that the charm of a pizza joint sometimes? Overall, great spot to visit. Make sure to get the pastrami!“
“Our first time here and we LOVED IT! I got the chicken Philly sub with everything on it and provolone cheese. My daughter got the kid's penne with marinara and my son got their lunch special of 2 HUGE slices and a drink. We will be back! So happy to have found another pizza place besides the usual chains. It was pretty inexpensive for all of the food and we have leftovers. My kids even loved their garlic knots that came with the penne, they usually never indulge. The lady at the register was so helpful and great to be around. She came around and checked on everybody also. It was just a great experience all around.“
“Absolutely love this place. The food is amazing, they have endless desserts, and a great selection for gluten free options, as someone with celiac’s, it was incredibleDietary restrictions: They offer a ton of gluten free options, not just with pasta but fried items can be grilled and their menu says what is vegan. They have a ton of gluten free desserts that are AMAZING!!! I cannot recommend it enough!“
“I went there for the first time today while my cellphone was being repaired next door. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo. It was hot, fresh and delicious. The hot bread was amazing. I loved the funny signs in the bathroom too. I hope to try you guys again sometime. Thanks again.“
“We stumbled upon this place quite by accident and have become loyal customers. The difference between authentic, handmade pizzas done with pride of ownership (vs high quantity fast food) shows through in every bite. The garlic knots are superb—fresh dough, soft but well baked, with plenty of garlic and butter without becoming soggy.Sure, you’ll pay a bit more, but you are both getting a superior product and supporting people in your community directly.Parking: Most people seem to be just picking up, so turn over is fast.“
“Made reservations here for a large party to celebrate my husbands birthday. So happy they were able to accommodate all of us but it was still fairly new at the time and on a weekday. People arrived at staggered times and not all at once but we were seated immediately. Our server was not welcoming and wasn't really feeling our party vibe but we were all excited to see each other and be together celebrating. She got our drink orders and then started taking our app orders. There are so many items on the menu it's hard deciding what to get. Our food came out quickly and everything was delicious the pizza, apps and entrees. The drinks were really good as well. Since it was our first time we were excited to try everything. We wanted to try dessert but our server didn't ask if we wanted any or offer the menu. Instead we started receiving our checks so we got the hint that she wanted us out. Since we were there to celebrate an occasion we voiced that out and they gave us a tiramisu. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious!! Can't wait to go back. Hopefully next time we'll have a better experience with our server and won't get an RBF the whole time. I get that we were a large party which requires a lot of patience etc but we got the bad vibes once we got there and sat at our table so that was disappointing.“
“I ordered the vegan calzone and I thought I was waiting far too long for just a calzone but when it was brought to me, it was far and away the largest I had ever seen in my life, and the most delicious I had ever eaten as well. As soon as I was home I told my entire family that they absolutely must try it, and after writing this review I think I will tell all of my friends as well.“
“Native Long Islander here. Hands down, my new favorite pizza place in the 757. I've dined in twice and loved it so much. The painted pizza boxes decorating the place that are replicas of famous works of art with a pizza twist are charming. But the pizza... PERFECT. The crust is that thin NY style that folds just right. The orange oil that drips out the back is required, and there it is. Brought my kids in maybe 30 minutes before closing in a friggin' MONSOON and the guy there was happy to serve us as dine in customers, and then make us another pie to go because we couldn't get enough. I'll probably never go anywhere else for pizza again.“
“I get my hair cut next door to this establishment; and, I love to get a Biggy steak and cheese hoagie-style with mushrooms, sometimes with fries. I grew up in Scranton, PA., and steak and cheese hoagies are a staple.I spent 20-plus years in the U.S. Navy. My shipmate from Philly invited me to be a member of his wedding party and I accepted. While driving back to VA, a fellow shipmate who was a college football player said he was going to get three steak & cheese subs in Philly to eat on the way back. I told him, maybe, one. He arrived home with 2 1/2.Philly Cold Cuts has a great menu; but, for me, all I want is an awesome Philly Steak and Cheese Hoagie! And you do not disappoint!“
“Pizza was amazing, like always. I need to try the other items on the menu, but I'm sure it'll be the same quality of the pizza. The service was wonderful, I'm always greeted with a positive attitude.Atmosphere... I mean... they got a werewolf statue... 5 out of 5“
“This was always my favorite place when I go to Virginia Beach. Last trip had baked clams, they were old, pasta fagioli it was thin watery with no vegetables. 2 basic Italian restaurant dishes that missed the mark. It seems that the chef has changed!“
“Our whole family loves pungo pizza, the food is delicious the service is good and the arcade is reminiscent of the good ol days. The recent economy has made eating out as a family of 5 well, costly. I really appreciate that not only are their food prices fair, but so are the kids' games. If you're in search of a wonderful family place that's fun and inviting, this is it.“
“Big team order- delivered hot and delicious! Owner couldn’t have been nicer and 58 hungry college boys were very happy! Went above and beyond for one food sensitive order. Seriously, chicken Parm sandwich was still steaming when my son ate his! Can’t review atmosphere because I ordered on the phone and had them deliver.“
“Our group of Ten all agreed that this food was the best. Meals included Garlic knots, Chicken Fettuccine, Chicken (especially tender)Marsala, Greek Salad, Calzones, Hoagie, Mozzarella sticks, Penna pasta, Caprese salad. Everything excellent and tasted homemade. The place may be small but food excellent and portions huge. Thanks for a fabulous meal!“
“The food was very good, the service was pretty decent and granted I'm not sure if it was the size of the party that was causing a lag or if it was just a server either way I wouldn't rate it harshly because she wasn't bad. Thatmosphere as well was pretty decent we're located in the back or side depending on how you look at it. Overall the food itself was very good and I was exceptionally grateful to the chef who catered to my dietary needs without going to overboard.Dietary restrictions: They were able to make some of the stuff without having certain items that they would normally use.“
“My wife and I enjoyed the Meat Strombolis at Albie's. The portions were generous. The food was great. The service was really good. The atmosphere was very casual. If it wasn't for Google reviews I probably would have missed it, but I'm glad I didn't.“
“Lauren is absolutely incredible. Not only does she know the business and the food and drinks, but her personality and presence is phenomenal. It really is a great experience going to the restaurant and a plus having superb service by Lauren.“
“This place is great. I can't say anything bad about it. The pizza, calzone, steak rolls, and stromboli are delicious. A little slice of NY right here on Shore drive. I wasn't expecting too much because of all the "NY pizzeria" places in the area that don't measure up, but this place nails it. One of things that makes this place stand out from the others in the area is the fact they don't use cheap ingredients. This place has dine in, take out, and delivery. Since my first trip here, I've gone back at least once a week. The prices are very reasonable and the food is spot on. I can't say enough nice things about this place. Go here, you won't be sorry.“
“Looking for a place to fill your craving for Italian cuisine? Well…look no further! This is the spot! With my wife being from Italy we have looked for a place that meets her standards! We found it! The food is awesome and well worth the price. You defiantly get what you pay for!“
“I was just taking a walk down Virginia Beach one evening. Relaxing and I felt like stopping in to have a slice of pizza in a drink. The slice I had tasted good and the lady who took my order at the front counter was also very nice and friendly and the place you could eat inside as well. If you're walking down Atlantic Avenue enjoying the beach and what to grab? A. Slice of pizza or a whole pie check it out... I have only been this one time but my experience was good. So when I am in the area again I will definitely stop back.“
“We were tired of our normal pizza joint, so decided to give town center pizza a try. My go-to pizza is normally the margherita, but it doesn't come with tomato sauce here so I went with the vegetarian. Hubby picked the supreme and the toppings were almost identical except his had sausage and maybe a few other things. The vegetarian was really yummy. It had plenty of veggie toppings and tasted nice and fresh. I was nervous looking through other photos because the crust didn't look done enough for me. Ours was perfectly done. Not over or undercooked. The crust held up all my toppings and wasn't greasy. We've been snacking on it for a few days now and it's still just as good as when we got it. Hubby enjoyed his pizza too and said he would order from here again. I agree. We got pickup, so can't speak to the service. I also didn't go in, so I can't speak to the ambiance, but there was a nice parking lot as the joint is in a strip mall. Maybe I'll try the margherita next time if I'm feeling adventurous.“
“Our waitress Shana took such great care of us on our first visit here. This is such a cozy restaurant with an authentic Italian feel. They have a vast wine selection and the food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the fried mozzarella and the chicken parmesan. This will definitely be a new frequent dinner spot for a quiet date night.“
“We had a group of 18 at the location on Princess Anne Rd an it was an awesome experience! Staff was great, food was amazing! This location is our go to for celebrating special moments and they once again more than met our expectations. Highly recommended!“
“We have passed by the place for years and finally decided we were going. The first time we went in, we did not have a reservation. You must have a reservation. The food is authentic and FABULOUS. You will not be disappointed. We can't wait to go back!!“
“@carrabbas Family's Choice! Their House Salad was I could've eaten that as an Entree, no lie! & I also got the Rigatoni Martino which came with Sauteed Mushrooms, Sun- Dried Tomatoes, Parmesan & Romano Cheese, with Gluten Free Rigatoni Pasta tossed with a tomato cream sauce with scallions and ricotta salata! I also added Sauteed Spinach & Broccoli as well. Why not! #FamilyNight #Dinner #VegetarianOptions #VaBeach #EatYourGreens“
“The pizza, I can honestly say, was not the best... I think it can stand a few more minutes in the oven, just to get the cheese to really settle and get that right pull, but I do digress...As far as the service... her service is the reason we would comeback... She was running floor on her own, and fortunately it wasn't a busy night, so she was really spending time with her patrons and made sure everything was taken of wonderfully. Also had a slice of their Strawberry Swirl Cheesecake... it was really good... as I said again, we will be back...“
“If you like GOOD Pizza at a good prize, give this place a try. I do not leave a lot of reviews, but when I do it is because it is worth ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️➕ stars. The house salad was excellent, real greens and fresh vegetables. The garlic knots... hand made and made fresh that day.The pizza (Blanca Rosa & Pepperoni, Jalapeño, Onion) was my all time top three best pizzas that I have ever eaten. Fresh hand tossed dough, perfect amount of cheese and ingredients and cooked so that you could hold the pizza in one hand after the first bite. Finally, great service very friendly staff and all at a great price. Plus, We got to seat in an old school church pew. Way to go Pizza Chapel! ???“
“Terrapin is one of my "must go" eateries. Very welcoming atmosphere and elegant appearance. I have been here several times. Always greeted with smiling faces. Once I visited on a busy evening, no reservation, and I was seated very quickly. Staff is always exceptional. Table service is excellent. Servers are knowledgeable, attentive, and very personable. Food looks marvelous and is delicious. Last trip, I had a salad, 6 oz steak, and tiramisu for dessert. Enjoyed every bite.“
