“Each time I go, everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is fantastic! The best seating is outdoors, and if the weather gets chilly, there is a basket of blankets inside that you can borrow from to keep you cozy. It's like going to your best friend's house and spending the day out back with good games, great food, and the best company! I highly recommend stopping in!“

“It was Easter. My husband and my parents wanted to take my little sister on an Easter egg hunt, but plans quickly changed after the venue of the hunt was moved. My sister typically likes to have pizza when she comes into town and a lot of restaurants were closed. Mellow mushroom is open until 10 that day and it was a great decision.Our food was wonderful. I got the buffalo chicken dip and my husband got a California Club. He also got an Angry Orchard as a drink and he said it was nice and cold- very refreshing!My mother treated us so we do not have a total. But the Buffalo Chicken dip was around $12/$13 and the California Club was around $11/$12. Drinks were $3.50. And the Angry Orchard price wasn’t listed. So I’m not sure on that.In the summer is perfect because they have cornhole outside while you wait on your food, or even if you come to grab drinks!Overall, food was great and came quickly to the table. Service was awesome. Will definitely be going back!“
“The service was wonderful. The fried ravioli was delicious. The lasagna Bolognese was delightful. But the dessert was amazing! Tronchetto La Giuseppe is a pastry tortilla fried, and dusted in cinnamon and sugar. Filled with a cheese cake filling, little chocolate drizzle, all set in a sweeten condensed milk and cream sauce on the bottom. Was absolutely happiness on a saucer!“

“Had a fantastic lunch at Dino's Pizza. The veal sub was the best I have had. Bread was perfect and did not get soggy like every other sub does. The staff was friendly and I will definitely be back to try a variety of other menu items. I did not even take a photo because I just wanted to start eating right away.“

“Ordered here for the first time and I am blown away. I got the XL cheese pizza and a small order of the cheese bread sticks for about 15 bucks after tax. Pizza is pretty damn good for 7 dollars. Nice and hot and the sauce it’s excellent. Miles ahead any cheap fast food pizza. Took me about 10 minutes to order and get my food. The person who took my order who I assume is the owner was extremely nice and welcoming. If you want pizza for cheap that isn’t fast food and actually tastes good, I highly recommend $5 pizza!“
“I have been ordering food from this place for 10 years now. For the longest time they were perfect. I would order a large pepperoni, mushroom, garlic, and extra cheese pizza. The amount of toppings were perfect and the cheese was triple the size of the crust. You would almost choke on the cheese as you ate it.Unfortunately something has happened in the past couple of years. Now when I order the same pizza I have been ordering for years there is a greater than 50% chance I don’t get that extra cheese. The rest of the toppings seem to be light too.Out of the four pizzas I have ordered recently only one had the extra cheese.I am willing to pay the money to get what I want. If I need to pay for double cheese that’s fine. If I need to pay for triple cheese that fine too.The issue is that some times when I order extra cheese I get it but most of the time I don’t.I went from ordering a pizza from them once a week to maybe once a month now because of this. Like I said, money isn’t the issue. I’m willing to pay $40 for a pizza. I just want consistency and right now they don’t seem to be able to do that.“
“While it looks quite unassuming from the outside, Sopranos delivered a phenomenal food experience. The chicken piccata and the meatballs were amazing. The New Yorker sandwich and the cheese tortellini were to die for.Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. “This is a great late night spot. I was a part of a party of 20 folks and they happily accommodated us. The service was excellent. Orders were correct and food was delivered in a timely fashion. I ordered the pizza and a side salad. I also shared a few wings. The ingredients were fresh and the pizza was very good. I rate it 4 out of 5 only based on the overall experience. “So freaking good ! Should have taken a picture but we devoured that! I rate it a 8/8.5. Delivery was fast. They charge for everything condiment, which is annoying. The pizza was hot and fresh. The cheese pull was top tier. We order a supreme stuff pizza. I think they could have added more veggies. There wasn’t much veggies or meat. It felt like I was eating a pepperoni pizza with garden tomatoes sauce. Nonetheless I enjoyed it and want to try more from the menu. I recommend to try this place out.“
“Found this place down the road from work a couple months ago. great spot for lunch with giant slices. You can add numerous toppings of your choosing or pick a special. the staff has always been helpful and friendly each time I've been in. During the week there is a do in the dining area that super calm and welcomes all the attention. There's plenty of seating for the lunch rush.“

Most of all patient, their was an elderly man in front of me in line the last time I came in to pick up a pizza. He was clearly somewhat confused about his order, and seemed slightly overwhelmed. Cause by this time the line had grown to around 8 customers. He started to say nevermind and leave, not wanting to hold everyone up, I assume. The young man behind the counter politely pulled the gentleman aside while another employee stepped up to take my order. After I already told them to take their time with the gentleman who was first. I could wait the extra few minutes. I was glad to see young men showing an elderly man respect and patience. By not letting him get flustered and give up.I couldn't recommend this establishment more. It's obvious they take pride in their work as well as their interaction with the public.“

“Hands down best pizza on the peninsula- we were weekly regulars at another local spot but now we make the drive from the south end of Hampton to north Newport News to pick it up at least every other week+. For what it’s worth, my tiny grandmother, who grew up in Queens and traveled from Long Island to visit with us for this past holiday, ate half of one of these huge pizzas. And she never eats anything. All that being said, I must admit, the quality has somewhat declined over the past several months. The customer service has not felt… overly accommodating. But we really weren’t concerned with that as much as our order being accurate and the pizza being fresh and delicious. Going forward, (and as advice to anyone who reads these reviews) I absolutely would not pay for “extra” anything on your pizza because you just will not get it. I thought/hoped that this was a one-off issue, or that it was simply a matter of a new cook working, etc.. but after our last three orders having discrepancies, and paying $80+ for two pizzas and garlic knots, I am having a hard time justifying the price, delicious as it is.I will order and make the drive at-least a time or two again and earnestly hope that Pizza Sam perseveres and becomes a mainstay on the peninsula ❤️“
