29 Best Pizza Restaurants near Hayes

“Most authentic Italian food for miles. 10/10“

“I have never left a review of a restaurant, ever. I feel the need to leave one now. Having just returned from a vacation in Italy, this restaurant is the next best thing to being back there. That pizza 🍕 transported me right back to those restaurants in Italy. It was perfect along with my husband's calzone and the Italian lemon 🍋 cake and THE BEST cannelloni. Thanks for the memories.“

“I haven’t eaten here since the newer owners took over. It is fantastic. Everything is fresh, the restaurant is clean and the staff is so nice. Please give them a chance. You won’t regret it.“

“Papa John's is my favorite fast pizza. I no longer live within 1 hrs of one, and definitely not within delivery distance. Thus particular one was cleaner than most, on my way elsewhere, and an apt reproduction of the company product. 100% of what you desire from chain pizza.“

“it was not good at all. it was hard and cold. It tasted like old food. it is too expensive for the food to be like that.“

“Food will speak for its self. Great authentic pizza. Dough is homemade and you can taste the work and effort they put into their ingredients. If you know and love what genuine pizza should taste like, this place is a must try. Great job guys! Keep up your hard work!“

“Do not get the sample dozen box if you don't want to be plagued with learning that what you thought was your favorite donut is not because you've tried something new! If you don't like friendly customer service, don't talk to Mike. He will make sure to try and get you what you want and then some. And... if you like to search for donut filling this is not the place for you. It is not possible to not get some in every bite. If you are weak, bring a friend to help you carry these absurdly heavy, heavenly things. But if you do, you will risk having to share with them, so choose your person wisely. So bottom line that no thanks to you, I have found my new favorite donut shop ❤️ Well done guys! I'm so glad you are not on the way to my work as I would surely struggle to not stop there daily!“

“Shout out to Jordan's Pizza for a delicious dinner tonight. I had one of those days where making a home cooked meal was the absolute last thing on my mind. Kids voted for pizza but I've been pretty unhappy with Marcos lately. Googled nearby delivery and their reviews seemed great. They're in Lackey off Old Willamsburg Rd. The pies were fantastic!I Big slices, New York style crust, and the sauce was perfect! Not too sweet and just the right consistency. 🤌🏻🤌🏻 We also got a baked ziti which came with a side salad and garlic knots. It was more than enough for two people to share and came to us nice and hot. We will definitely be ordering from them again!!“

“This restaurant has a great breakfast but what makes it great is Kim she goes above & beyond with the customers. You can have good food but the people make the place.“

“Eating at a Vinny’s is like eating with family. Always delicious! Always fast! Always a friendly wait staff! Always so clean! Just like eating with family. We love Vinny’s!“

“This place has some seriously great food. The pizzas are the bomb 💣 😍. The sandwiches are awesome and im obsessed with their salad 🥗. There is so much variety on the menu, and everything I have tried is delicious 😋 so its hard to pick. I certainly wouldn't complain about that cause I know whatever I choose, will be good. This review is coming from a serious picky eater. I only eat at 6 different places in this state, and this is one of them. Im glad its right down the street.“

“Friendly staff and good pizza!“

“I've always loved Pizza Hut. It was a family tradition and a treat to go once a month when I was a child. The food tastes amazing . I really like the fact that you can order your food, and when you pick up, it shows on screen how long it will be down to the very minute“

“Tonight all our food was on point! Pan pizza, pasta, sandwiches, parm bites, lava cakes. Thanks for the hot n fresh food along with fast n friendly service Keith and Dominos Team“

“This is my to go to restaurant when I go to visit family in Gloucester. Their food is really good and so are the people. Plus, you don't break the bank even if there are a lot of people eating. The Stromboli is my favorite. It is definitely a must try for anyone liking an Italian meal.“

“They used to be really good. My daughter-in-law brought me a sub home tonight. As a surprise, and when I bit into it, there was a big 2 inch piece of plastic, hard plastic in the sub, I said, where did you get this from? She said little Italy, I said, don't ever go there again. Because another family member used to work there and the cockroaches in the kitchen are beyond believable they don't try to even Get rid of it.So probably most of you have aided a dozen cockroaches and definitely hard plastic“

“Special thanks always to John and Mike . Especially for always keeping good spirits even through busy times and always making things right and setting good tones inside the hut . Thanks also to the whole Team and will always be my Favorite Pizza hut and its not just the Pizza , its the true Friendships they create while getting people their good Food Hot and Fresh!“

“great food, fair prices, and quick service“

“i gave a person here a hundred dollar bill without knowing they shouldn’t take those. he gave me fully accurate change back after telling me he wasn’t sure if he had it in his car. I believe his name was james. As someone that’s worked in the service industry, i know there aren’t a lot of people like that out there. I didn’t even think to tip him because i’d assumed he’d shorted me. thankfully i had him again and made sure to give him extra!“

“I ordered pizzas from Cosco for my daughter’s bday. At the time of the birthday party when it was time to pick them up, they didn’t have a single one ready. I called this papa John’s and they had me 10 pizzas ready in about 20 minutes. I couldn’t believe it they saved the day. Thank you to you and your staff for helping me feed 20 hungry kids in so pinch. Great pizzas too, thank you !!“

“We had a great dinner at Joe and Mimma’s. The atmosphere is quiet, family-style, and old-school Italian in the best way. It is easy to see why they have been in business for more than 50 years.

Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish.

Everything we ordered was delicious, including Caesar salads, garlic knots, baked ziti, and especially the penne alla vodka with chicken, which was the standout of the meal. Portions were generous and the quality of the food was excellent.

Pricing felt fair and realistic for both the quality and quantity of food we received.

A great local restaurant with good food and good service. We will definitely be back.“

“We were very impressed with the customer service tonight and how friendly Keith (general manager) and the rest of the staff were!! We will be going back! Thanks for the laughs and showing our boys that there are still nice people!“

“I have been coming here ever since I discovered the good prices and late hours. The workers have always been very nice and the food has always been good to excellent. Is it the best pizza I’ve ever had? No. Is it the best I’ve ever had for only $10 though? It certainly might be. Highly recommend!“

“I ordered pizza 🍕 earlier today 05/06/26 around 4:35 pm after work because I was starving and I got home with my pizza 🍕 and it was dry, not enough sauce on it 🤦‍♀ but I had no choice but to eat it because I live in downtown Newport News and the store is a little ways uptown 🤷‍♀“

“Been ordering from Papa Johns for at least 20 years now. Can't get any better!“
