45 Best Pizza Restaurants in Chesapeake

“We have visited Pizza Twist 3 times and never disappointed. We love the unique flavors and toppings. The pizza was baked just right-hot, cheesy, abundant toppings and to our specifications. We don't like hot spices (they toned it down for us) and it was so flavorful without burning our mouths. We will come back.“

“WOW! Awesome Pizza!!“

“Friendly staff and by far the BEST food I drive up from NC every so often so this will be a stop on the way and a stop going home….“

“Had a wonderful dinner here last week. Miranda waited on us and was extremely personable and helped some of us with menu options. I had the veal parmigiana and was cooked to perfection. Miranda was very attentive to our party and made the whole dinner experience perfect. Will definitely be back and recommend anyone looking for a great Italian meal and service.“

“I was very nervous about ordering due to some bad reviews but man am I happy I ignored them and ordered anyway! I’m originally from Massachusetts and we have some great pizza places. I’ve had some luck finding good pizza here but nothing that reminds me of home. It’s all about the crust for me! So anyway I had a craving for cheese pizza so I ordered from Sal’s. The pizza was exactly like home. Thin crust with a little crunch, good cheese and light sauce! Perfection! The gentleman who was working tonight was friendly too! Super happy with my experience and the pizza! Thank you Sal’s! I’ll be back!!“

“Love the food we love the the Ladies who works there ,it was hot and tasty and we will be making it our go to place to eat🍕🍔🥖❤️👍👍👍“

“We LOVE Studly Brewing Company. I’ve had a wonderful experience every single time I’ve been. Each staff member is beyond friendly, the food is amazing, the beer is delicious AND they have a play area for the kids which is a life saver!!! It’s a relaxed environment and they’re extremely accommodating for the little one, down to having the smaller potty seat attachment in the bathrooms! 1000% recommend this place!!!“

“Friendly staff and by far the BEST food I drive up from NC every so often so this will be a stop on the way and a stop going home….“

“2nd time ordering and again I am soooo loving this place! Philly Cheesesteak is AMAZING! Bread is so soft, meat is flavorful and tender AND they don't nickel and dime you for extra toppings. We got the 2 sub deal for less than $17! The fried mushrooms are excellent also 👌“

“Delicious food, really delicious pizza sauce“

“outstanding everything, food, beverages, staff, affordability!!!! Five Gold Stars for Sure!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.“

“I had dinner tonight at Frank’s Pizza located at 2544 Bainbridge Boulevard in the South Norfolk section of Chesapeake.

This place is a little off the beaten path but it’s well worth a visit. An Uber driver recommended them to me as I got a ride home from the airport.

It did not disappoint…

Ashley, the server on duty tonight was fantastic. She was friendly and helpful with menu questions and suggestions. I started out with the House Salad for $5.99 consisting of Lettuce, Tomatoes and Onions. I opted for the recommended House special dressing and it was very good.

I tried to keep it simple tonight since I was flying solo and I ordered a 14” Pepperoni Pizza. This was amazing. It was crunchy on the outside and soft in between in an almost “How do they do that” kind of way. Pizza sauce was very tasty as was the cheese and ample amount pepperoni on the pizza.

If you love good pizza, check out Frank’s Pizza, you’ll be happy you did and you can rest assured that you are supporting our local restaurant community!“

“This place sux for delivery. Waited over 2.5 hours for my order and there was no offer for a refund or discount. Full of excuses as to why the tardiness but no solution!!! Happens almost each and every time.“

“The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and I’m never disappointed in the food. If you like steamed oysters, I highly recommend theirs. They are always very tender and delicious!“

“We picked up a Florentine White Pizza tonight for dinner and thought it was fantastic. The staff are all very friendly, the prices were good, and the restaurant has a cozy little dining area too which is great. We’ll definitely be coming back and will be making this our regular pizza spot to support!“

“We just had my daughter‘s fourth birthday here! It was a great day and the staff was very helpful! Everything was set up before we got there, they cleaned up and was there for any questions or anything that came up last minute! I highly recommend coming here or booking for a party! It’s always clean and my kids love it!“

“I saw how the employee cleaned the tables and chair, he’s kinda slow but it’s a good sign that he’s just making sure he’s doing it properly.. Having a employee like him is hard to find. Kuddos to him🙂“

“Writing this mostly for the service. Don was the one fulfilling my order and he was excellent. Even though they were short staffed on the Sunday afternoon I went he was hustling and didn’t make me feel rushed during the process. Will definitely be returning here again for the service.“

“I am writing to address an issue I had with a recent order at the Portsmouth location in Chesapeake Square Mall. The problem I encountered with a recent order for the Chicken and Shrimp Chipotle Pasta for myself and my sister. When we opened the order at home, we found that the dish only contained chicken and no shrimp. I called the store, and the manager instructed me to return the order for a replacement, which I did. However, upon receiving the remake, we found that it was only half the portion size of the original meal—essentially, the chef appeared to have split one full dish into two smaller portions, rather than properly preparing two separate orders. As a loyal customer, I have never experienced service like this before, and the entire situation was very frustrating. Not only did I have to return to the store twice, but the second attempt still did not resolve the issue. I called the store again, and at that point, the manager, Brooke, asked if I had taken pictures of the order. I did, and I am happy to share those images with you as an attachment. The total cost of the meal was $40.28, and I feel that the value and quality of the service did not meet my expectations. I am hoping for a prompt resolution to this matter. Thank you for your attention to this issue. I look forward to your response.“

“Delicious pizza and good service!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely delicious! The crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce had great flavor (go for the spicy!), and the toppings were super fresh. Fast delivery to the table and friendly service made it even better. Easily the best pizza place around—highly recommend! 🍕“

“Never had a bad experience at any of the locations I've been to. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, fun drinks and good food. If you're a ranch enjoyer you're gonna have a great time. Definitely some sort of addictive substance in that stuff.“

“Sammmmm. That was the best pizza I’ve ever gotten from Dominoes. We got something with a lot of toppings and the cheese melted and it was just beautiful. No words can explain! Best pizza“

“The pizza and Italian Beef’s are phenomenal!!! Sincerely the absolute BEST pizza I have had in Virginia! And the staff truly care about your experience. HIGHLY recommend“

“The Philly steaks are amazing and the baked ziti is the best! My husband enjoys their alfredo and was so happy to find out that they could turn it into a seafood alfredo. Our server last time was Ellyce and she had us laughing so hard! It's a great place with great people!! If you haven't been you don't know what you're missing!! I think adding a senior-size portion of their pasta dishes to their menu would be a great idea because the regular portions are quite plentiful!“

“Always Good & Fresh Along With Outstanding Friendly Employees.. And Can’t Beat 2 Full Subs For Only $13.99 Yum 😋“

“Got the 24" cheese and inhaled it when we got home, New York style at it's finest. Great pizza“

“went to sunrise for the first time today. Dorothy was an amazing waitress!! The food was spectacular but she made every minute at the restaurant worth my time and money. We will for sure be back.“

“The size states 14 inch for a large. Nope, not true, just about 10 inches. The pizza is slimy and gooey, absolutely disgusting. Save your money, will never purchase again. I do not recommend this pizza.🤮“

“Love everything about this place, Staff, the food and cleanliness of the entire place. Order online, walk in and out with your food in a matter of minutes. The food is always fresh and hot. You have to try the Pepperoni Magnifico, Soooo GOOD!!! The only bad thing I can say is the pizza don't last long with my family.“

“We love Great Pizza and Pasta!! Wings were crispy and juicy. Pizza was robust and cheesy. Can’t wait to eat there again!!“

“We were out of town and found this halal spot on the way back from OBX. We’re so glad we stopped!

The lady who took our order and served us was very nice and patient, especially with my three little kids. My Philly cheesesteak was really good, and my wife ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, which she said was delicious.

The kids had the chicken nuggets, but they were actually more like breaded chunks of real chicken breast.. and they really enjoyed them!

Overall, we had a very good experience. Great food, friendly service, and definitely a place we’d come back to. Thank you!

PS clean bathroom“

“Just had to say as long as we’ve enjoyed the consistent excellent service and tasty pizza from Domino’s, today they showed they really care about the customers. Alyssa delivered the pizza faster than expected, with a smile and a very friendly presentation just to top it off with a free pizza, courtesy of the manager. Thank you for making our day!!“

“Placed an order over the phone for 3 sandwiches. Everything was done right as I walked in and all of our sandwiches were accurate and delicious. The employees were also very friendly.

Would definitely recommend and we will be back!“

“I have Crohns disease, and cant normally eat pizza, which I LOVE! However, because you guys use REAL cheese and have THE ONLY GLUTEN FREE CRUST I know of, I am able to eat pizza again. I saw that on the flyer, and thought to myself, I can eatvTHEIR pizza! When it got here, it was hot, cheesy, and soooo good. And, no bad tummy ache when I was done. Needless to say Guess who MY favorite pizza is now? YOU GUYS ROCK!“

“Pizza is delicious. Writing this review to say that their “special” ranch sauce isn’t anything to rave about. Tastes like hidden valley to me. Anyway. I recommend.“
