“we really enjoyed the experience.“

“This place is outstanding!“

“Delicious patty melt and the chocolate custard is AMAZING! I was disappointed that my onion rings order was missing and I didn’t notice til I’d already left. I was hoping to try them. Hopeful that little kinks like that and the wait time in drive thru will improve as they go.“

“Steak and chicken street tacos were amazing! The chef was very sweet as well. So glad I have this spot so close to home.“

“I do enjoy and recommend Winston’s, but would like to also give a shout out to our waitress and cook working 10/18/25 around 11:30, and also a concern to one gentleman who showed up for work around then as well. I wish I had names, especially for the amazing waitress who served us (she was blond, I know that!). I came in with my daughter and elderly father who has dementia. Dad wanted an egg sandwich. We had already driven by some of the usual breakfast spots and naturally they were packed. I stopped because I had seen that sometimes Winston’s offers brunch, and learned that at least yesterday they did not. However the waitress checked with the kitchen, they had eggs, bread, and bacon and the cook graciously agreed to make my dad a sandwich. So very kind of them and very much appreciated!! ABOVE AND BEYOND!! My daughter and I ordered regular menu items and while waiting for our meals a gentleman came in carrying some groceries. I guess he saw the cook making an egg sandwich when he entered the kitchen and proceeded to loudly berate both the waitress and cook, yelling about how, “We don’t f@ck!ng do breakfast, we don’t make eggs, it’s not on the menu, you have no right to make that f-ing guy eggs, all to what? Keep one f-ing customer?” I am paraphrasing, but not exaggerating at all - he was cursing them out, f-bombs and all, and it was quite easy to hear from where we sat, as the customers in question. I felt awful to have gotten the waitress in trouble, and hearing him treat staff this way as well as talking about paying customers this way put a bad taste in my mouth during what would and should have been an outstanding experience. So, a huge thank you to 2/3 of the staff I encountered yesterday. Food was great, service was great, but that one guy really needs to find some zen - and he could learn a thing or two from the rest of the staff regarding customer service.“

“I am writing to address an issue I had with a recent order at the Portsmouth location in Chesapeake Square Mall. The problem I encountered with a recent order for the Chicken and Shrimp Chipotle Pasta for myself and my sister. When we opened the order at home, we found that the dish only contained chicken and no shrimp. I called the store, and the manager instructed me to return the order for a replacement, which I did. However, upon receiving the remake, we found that it was only half the portion size of the original meal—essentially, the chef appeared to have split one full dish into two smaller portions, rather than properly preparing two separate orders. As a loyal customer, I have never experienced service like this before, and the entire situation was very frustrating. Not only did I have to return to the store twice, but the second attempt still did not resolve the issue. I called the store again, and at that point, the manager, Brooke, asked if I had taken pictures of the order. I did, and I am happy to share those images with you as an attachment. The total cost of the meal was $40.28, and I feel that the value and quality of the service did not meet my expectations. I am hoping for a prompt resolution to this matter. Thank you for your attention to this issue. I look forward to your response.“

“I went to Mr. Jim's because this is what my mom wanted to eat after she decided not to have dialysis anymore. We live in Virginia Beach, and I drove here to get her the Italian sub that she remembered and loved. I asked for the manager to tell her how much she loved Mr. Jim's and wanted an Italian sub only from here. Thank you for being her favorite place to get a sub and even after she is no longer with us I will continue to come to Mr Jim's in her honor. From a daughter who will miss her mom and from a new lifelong customer.“

“Great tasting food!! I can’t wait to try more!“

“Fast friendly service great dogs“

“Was in Chesapeake Virginia and it was. Free cone day so we stopped at DQ there and picked up a free cone. The DQ'S in Elizabeth City and edenton do not do any permotions at their store they are owned by the same people. Never do the same things thstvall other DQ'S do.“

“The Greenbrier Ruby Tuesday is the best one. I get the salad bar every time I go. The food is great and the staff are kind and welcoming. I have had Lisa as a server several times and she is wonderful with checking in to ensure I am doing okay and if I need anything. I wish I knew the name of the host who is there in the morning often as she is great too!“

“Great burger and friendly people.“

“My daughter and I had the Meat loaf ,was so good Husband had liver and onions , he loved it Drinks and desserts so good“

“We were out of town and found this halal spot on the way back from OBX. We’re so glad we stopped!

The lady who took our order and served us was very nice and patient, especially with my three little kids. My Philly cheesesteak was really good, and my wife ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, which she said was delicious.

The kids had the chicken nuggets, but they were actually more like breaded chunks of real chicken breast.. and they really enjoyed them!

Overall, we had a very good experience. Great food, friendly service, and definitely a place we’d come back to. Thank you!

PS clean bathroom“

“Nice time and good food. Enjoyed it!“

“We went yesterday. The food came out hot and fresh. Better than most times. But the service was horrible. We didnt get our drinks until after rhe food came out, which took quite a while. They werent super busy. The waitress never refilled our drinks after we asked several times and ahe kept saying she would. Then we asked for more fries several times and never received them so finally we decided not to wait and started to pay the check. When we were getting up from the table she walks over with the fries 🙄. Another table's service was so bad that they didnt even have to pay for their meal. The waitress was nice and so was management but the service made for a bad experience. But I can say the food was actually good.“

“Great Food & Service.. Friendly Staff“

“Not completely obvious from the main road, this little Dairy Queen is worth a stop. The toppings are always fresh, food arrives fast, I've never gotten an incorrect order and servings are always the amount expected or more (at least for ice cream). And this is hands-down ALWAYS the friendliest fast food store staff I have ever met. I don't always get the same person, but whomever is at the window always greets me and has a big smile. That alone keeps me coming back. This must be a fun place to work.“

“Fresh salad and one of the best she crab soups ever! Everyone else had burgers that's were creative food combinations and tasted great“

“I would like to recognize the manager working at this location today, who was wearing a black shirt with dreads. She did an exceptional job assisting customers while also remaining attentive and supportive toward her employees. Her professionalism, leadership, and customer service truly stood out. Kudos to you for doing such an outstanding job!“

“Love this place and the owner is awesome to deal with! Eat here every time I work in Chesapeake“

“Great service, 10/10, the building was on fire and they still gave us our food. No one was hurt. We're still blocked in the parking lot because of all the fire trucks lol. Will go again if the building survives the fire! 😀“

“I love it me and my brother when there today“

“Great food and of course ICe cream ❤️“

“Very welcoming environment. Professional staff! Great food! Reasonably priced drinks!“

“I think it’s important to write a review when you have an awesome experience, and today was that day at Dairy Queen. It was really busy today around 8 so I decided to go inside. 1) everyone was extremely safe in regards to COVID 2) the cashier I had (it says Kiera on my receipt) was extremely nice and efficient. I told her I had a hefty order (8 ice creams) and she was able to get everything accurate right off the bat and was just overall so sweet. Awesome job girl👍🏻 3) they made ALL my ice creams so quickly. Like....freaky fast efficient. The woman working the counter made sure I had enough spoons, put all of them in a drink carrier for me and the best part.....OFFERED TO HEP ME BRING THEM TO MY CAR 😱😍 just amazing. I declined because I’m stubborn, but I was seriously so impressed. I came home and ranted and raved to everyone in the house because I was just so happy. Great work y’all! Y’all rock! 👏🏻👏🏻“

“Ms Rose took great care of me and my family in the drive thru! Excellent customer service. She made sure our food was hot and fresh and anticipated our needs. Ms. Rose needs a merit increase due to her providing excellent customer service!“

“This Hardee's should not just have a 3.9. It should be a top score. The women that serve breakfast are absolutely the sweetest and most proficient I've seen at Hardee's. They take pride in what they serve and take care of the customer . They are very personable. It brightens my day and I go out of my way to stop at this Hardee's“

“The entire staff Day and Night are amazing. The mangers are friendly and accommodating the front counter and drive through associates are very friendly and polite. My family visits almost daily and even if I mess up and forget to say “ plain” they have no problem with fixing my mistake. A young man name Kamari who takes the drive through orders is a stand out worker when it comes to customer service. When McDonalds pisses me off and I come across the street to Burger King he always makes my day better. Let me nit leave out that the store is CLEAN!“

“Everyone was very friendly! Angel was a great server. She checked on me several times during my meal. The food was delicious! We were seated right away and got our food quickly. You can tell the bathrooms are a little older but very clean.“

“I absolutely love a good sloppy burger. The only problem I had was that the website wasn’t accurate as in the time it was ready it was ready and sitting on the counter and it was never corrected online so I sat in the parking lot for like 20 minutes thinking that my order wasn’t ready until I finally went in there, and they said it was sitting on the bar, but it didn’t show that online, it simply said that they are preparing my order didn’t say it was completed, but other than that it was excellent though it was cold would’ve been much better warm. I think that they need to keep up with the Digital communication because every time I refresh the page it would give an extra minute saying it will be ready at 10:47 and it was currently 1046…“

“Never seems to be real crowded, but the food is always fresh made hot for you. I stop in when the traffic is thick waiting for rush hour to end while I have dinner

Parking: Dedicated lot always space exits on two sides to both highways“

“Drove to this location from Suffolk due to being tired of the poor service and stale food and was not disappointed. They were very busy when we arrived and the line moved surprisingly fast, when we got our food we were offered a burger king crown for our little ones!!! It was such a simple sweet thing that made their day!!! They were so busy that our second fry was forgotten but they gave us an overstuffed large as soon as we let them know. Our new go to BK location!!!!“

“My experience at this location early this morning was wonderful. We were greeted by Allison, she was very friendly and professional. The food was on point. We will be returning to this location.“

“Great place to have a good time!!!!!“

“This mcdonalds did a fantastic job. I highly recommend this place. They said there latte machine was down but they still made me a iced vanilla coffee which I really appreciate. The service was incredible. 5 stars. This mcdonalds was extremely awesome to visit.“

“The food was okay, I got a grilled chicken sandwich and my girl got a burger, she enjoyed her meal but I thought the chicken was just alright. Definitely nothing to write home about. I will say they have great milk shakes and a huge selection as well. I think the shake is what sold me. Prices are reasonable but you don't get huge portions either, I guess you kind of get what you pay for“

“Good customer service the food was hot and on time I was able to get it and be back to work on time for lunch I enjoy it“

“The food I got was absolutely terrible. I don’t know why, but my fries were sour for some reason. Besides that, everything else was pretty okay. The only reason why I gave the service and atmosphere a 4/5 is because I came right before closing time, of course the atmosphere and service isn’t going to be the best. At that time, literally no one wants to work, and yet they still gave me my order quickly and correctly, which is something I can respect. And yes, I get that the food may not be the best at 9pm, but it doesn’t excuse my fries being sour, I would have expected them to be cold instead.“

“The staff/management @ this location are outstanding! I normally don’t eat out, but came here for breakfast a few weeks ago as a treat & was impressed by the customer service as well as quality of food, service, as well as cleanliness of store. I’m eating breakfast here now ;)“

“Texas toast option for bread.“

“Shout out to Manager ISAIAH. I ordered delivery June of 2026 was missing a quarter pounder from my meal and spoke to Hana manager to said she would comp next order. Next beginning of august I placed a delivery order and spoke
To Delvin (who had no record of this and took so long to finally say he would include With my next delivery order that I did not receive it. Late august spoke to manager “calling me mommy” and said she would replace. Never happened. Finally after 4 managers (3 months) I spoke to Isaiah manager in September who actually listened and finally delivered the quarter pounder I was missing since June. He also included a free apple pie for my troubles that I was not expecting. ISAIAH. THANK YOU!“

“Andrew is the BEST! He was extremely professional, attentive, polite and addressing me by my name was the most gracious part! He served each customer with a smile and in an exceptional way. He even extended an invitation of returning to the location another time to be serviced. His display is customer service deserves recognition and I hope this location values him and treats him well. He is a gem. Thank you Andrew for making my visit one to remember!“
