“Court House Cafe has become one of our go-to places when we want an evening out. Their selections cater to various diet needs, with large portions. The wait staff is always pleasant. My only complaint is that often the only table we can be offered is one of the high-tops and I am unable to sit at those due to physical constraints.“
“Absolutely amazing! I had the Hammerhead wrap and it did not disappoint. It was seasoned well/full of flavor and tasted fresh. I requested apples and peanut butter dip for my side and honestly didn’t think I’d eat it. I prefer almond butter over peanut butter but this dip was good and smooth, not thick at all. This will definitely be my go to for “fast” food!“
“Went here with my father in law today having gone here previously 3-4 x’s with all great experiences. We were not disappointed. The burgers were tasty and medium just as we asked and I would give them a 8.5/10. The fries were amazing and onion rings were 8/10 which is my rating of ”good”. The appetizer “Large Mozarella Sticks” were larger than normal cheese sticks and uniquely crispy on the outside. I would rate those 10/10 better than any others I’ve had in any restaurant in VA Beach. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere is not super great and bathrooms less than stellar but that’s not why I come here. I will come again and recommend it as a great burger place.“

“My wife and I have been going to Mister Jim's since 1999. We have always loved the food there. We went there for dinner last night. Something has changed recently. Our sandwiches did not have the flavor that made us fans of this restaurant. The meal was no better than any other sub/steak shop in the area, and that was disheartening. Also, my wife has always asked for Mozzarella Cheese on her Philly Steak, and this is the first time they charged us an "up charge" for it.“

Decor/ambiance is homey, cute, colorful, bright - 5 stars as well.They serve all kinds of hot dogs and sides, even shakes and sandwiches. I ordered their ruff skin dogs (gives you that crunchy bite (all beef) and side of onion rings. You can order sauerkraut, mustard to come with your hotdog or their house sauce and ketchup are just fine condiments. You definitely know their onion rings are not frozen, made from scratch since you get the tip part of the sweet onion as well. I would have liked the batter to be a tad crunchier and with more texture but overall good.“

“Ridiculous the amount of money you pay for such skimpy ice cream. I ask for extra toppings in my Blizzard and paid extra for it. I watched as it was being made and noticed extra was not put in the ice cream. I ask the staff if she put extra in and she was honest and said No. She then added extra. I also, ordered a Banana split and ask for all strawberry topping. Instead of the manager putting strawberry on all 3 ice creams in the bowl, she just used one scoop for the whole bowl. I also, observed as staff was wiping down where the messes from the ice cream dripping were on the machine used to make Blizzard’s and then using the same rag to wipe the rims of the Blizzard cups when done making them. That is totally disgusting and cross contamination.“
“It was our first time visiting, with my husband and 2 kids (under 8). Their menu has a wonderful amount of options but not too overwhelming. Pricing is comparable to a fast food chain.We were just looking to grab a late lunch and something light not to fill us too much so that we can have dinner later on.My kids split the Jr Surfer dog and tots. And gobbled it down (they don't even eat hot dogs that good at home and I take pride in how well I cook them). ?My husband ordered the cheese fries (which I shared) and I ordered the grilled cheese in paradise. (Tomato and Bacon, is the paradise ?)Everything felt and tasted like it was made with love and the place was very inviting and warm. We were tended to immediately and were checked on throughout our stay but not to the point of annoyance!After our meal we ordered a couple ice cream cones/cups and a vanilla milkshake. They have a decent selection and you can add all the bells and whistles if you'd like !We were the only ones there, and no one came in after us. I assume it was just a slow Saturday afternoon and we luckily enough missed the lunch rush and before dinner rush.Needless to say, we WILL be back. “Never knew this place was here until someone recommended it to me. Finally had the chance to stop today for lunch and was very impressed. The lady who runs it and makes your food is very friendly and fast. I had the barbecue sandwich and french fries and devoured it. Had to go back in to try a taco which was one of the best street style tacos around in my opinion. Fresh cooked steak with cilantro and onions and sauces to go with it. Every time I'm in this area for work I will be stopping in to try something new ?“

My kids picked this restaurant and they usually like it, but were bummed about no balloons this time. I'm not sure if they stopped doing that or if they just didn't have them ready yet. Either way, the balloons were missed.Overall, the quality and service aren't what they used to be pre-pandemic, but they're on par with other Americana restaurants.“

“My college student daughter and I went today to get the adult Happy Meals in the drive thru, both employees were very friendly and seemed happy to be there (which is an anomaly for ANY McDonald's these days). The whole way home we couldn't talk enough about how NICE they were! What a refreshing McDonald's experience we had today. The food was even better than usual too!
