“Ridiculous the amount of money you pay for such skimpy ice cream. I ask for extra toppings in my Blizzard and paid extra for it. I watched as it was being made and noticed extra was not put in the ice cream. I ask the staff if she put extra in and she was honest and said No. She then added extra. I also, ordered a Banana split and ask for all strawberry topping. Instead of the manager putting strawberry on all 3 ice creams in the bowl, she just used one scoop for the whole bowl. I also, observed as staff was wiping down where the messes from the ice cream dripping were on the machine used to make Blizzard’s and then using the same rag to wipe the rims of the Blizzard cups when done making them. That is totally disgusting and cross contamination.“
“I wasn’t able to get my food due to my break at work ending and the owner, Mary Jane, the sweetest lady ever brought me a refund and some donuts at my work. I’ve come here previously and they always have good customer service and i’m in love with their donuts.“
“I was having a bad day, but the servers here really brought a smile to my face. They were patient with me as I sampled, and the ice cream was so good! I got the small getting one scoop of hard ice cream and the other scoop being soft serve.“
“It was our first time visiting, with my husband and 2 kids (under 8). Their menu has a wonderful amount of options but not too overwhelming. Pricing is comparable to a fast food chain.We were just looking to grab a late lunch and something light not to fill us too much so that we can have dinner later on.My kids split the Jr Surfer dog and tots. And gobbled it down (they don't even eat hot dogs that good at home and I take pride in how well I cook them). ?My husband ordered the cheese fries (which I shared) and I ordered the grilled cheese in paradise. (Tomato and Bacon, is the paradise ?)Everything felt and tasted like it was made with love and the place was very inviting and warm. We were tended to immediately and were checked on throughout our stay but not to the point of annoyance!After our meal we ordered a couple ice cream cones/cups and a vanilla milkshake. They have a decent selection and you can add all the bells and whistles if you'd like !We were the only ones there, and no one came in after us. I assume it was just a slow Saturday afternoon and we luckily enough missed the lunch rush and before dinner rush.Needless to say, we WILL be back. I am very interested in the Funnel Fries and to try a yummy hand patted burger- MADE FRESH, never frozen!Thanks for being great hosts!“
“Delicious patty melt and the chocolate custard is AMAZING! I was disappointed that my onion rings order was missing and I didn’t notice til I’d already left. I was hoping to try them. Hopeful that little kinks like that and the wait time in drive thru will improve as they go.“

“Had an excellent experience. I was picking up Chinese food next door and found this place about 20 minutes before closing. They let me go get my food and come back right before closing. They were both very kind, explained all the flavors to me. I purchased two flavors of ice cream, a drink and two packaged items. All were delicious and I appreciate her taking the time to talk with me although they were trying to clean up for closing. I will be back soon!“

I wish I could try every item but I would get sick. lol. Their store is very clean and the staff is very friendly. This is definitely a hidden gem on this side of Chesapeake. “They are so much to our community. Great Food, Services and a place anyone any age can go and have a great experience. Home made ice cream, sandwiches, breads and too many bakery items to list. Their homemade pies are delicious. This weekend we bought Coconut Custard and Cherry. So delicious. Outside tables and a separate indoor building to eat in. A very fun place to visit. Have been going there for over four decades. Me. Mrs. Bergey's are a wonderful family. May God Bless them and us for many more years to come.“
