“Simply decorated. Love the logo but it’s not up on the wall. Not inviting because I thought it was closed until I saw the open sign. Service was great. Greeted upon walking in. Ordered the pesto chicken panini and smoothie bowl. Everything was great. Smoothie in the bowl can be more firm but it didn’t take away the taste at all! Love that it’s a choice of what type of granola.“
“We discovered this little place on accident, and we are delighted that we did. The "toast" are comprised of toasted breads with the freshest ingredients. The smoothies are amazing, and the fresh juices are invigorating. It's unique, and no other restaurants, in Hampton roads, are even similar. I highly recommend it. Delicious.“

“I love cold pressed juice. I ordered the Root juice which had a strong beet taste which I enjoyed. Hummus and tortilla wedges were delicious. The service was excellent and the staff is friendly. We waited in comfortable chairs and looked at the fish swim in the tank. There was a tv playing but was not very loud.“
“Today was my first time going in and it was very cute. My 10 year old daughter has been before with her grandmother and loved it. She has been begging me to bring her back to get the taro milk tea. I did try it and it was very flavorful. I liked that they offer a rewards system and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back again when we come to visit the area.“

“My son and I ordered 2 smoothies. The Bahama Momma and the Silky Peach. The Bahama Momma was quite possibly the blandest smoothie I have ever had. It was almost tasteless. However, the peach one was delish!! I guess I was making a "yucky" face because the guy who made it asked if I wanted to return it and get a new one!! I was very thankful and ordered another Silky Peach! Yummy! We also got a Caesar Chicken wrap for my other son. He said it was the best wrap he has ever had. So all in all I would definitely recommend Tropical Smoothie Cafe on Kempsville Rd! The customer service surpassed my expectations! Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will be back!!“
